We live in Orlando and decided to drive the hour it took to visit this restaurant and were very pleasantly surprised! Being that it was a Monday, we were seated right away and had coffee and water within minutes. We ordered the all you can eat pancakes which you make right at your own table using the tools they provide.... More

Went to the old Spanish Sugar Mill Pancake house today. What fun to make your own pancakes! You cannot get fresher then that. I had the pumpkin pancakes and my sister-in-law had blueberry, both delish. You also receive whole grain and white batter, which is really nice. There are also neat items you can add and for the$1.50 extra my... More

Such a nice place to have breakfast or lunch. Make your own pancakes with topping and eat until you're completely full. You can also make your own eggs just the way you like them. It's different and so much fun.

Located in a 100 year old replica of the original 1830 sugar mill is a very unique restaurant. It unique in a number of ways. One being it's location. It's located in the De Leon State park. A second would be the eating experience. The customers are seated at a griddle and giving different types of pancake batter to try.... More

Never saw any restaurant like this one. Griddles made in the tables to cook your own all you can eat pancakes and eggs. Great location. Really good service. Can get very busy.

If you go in summer, it is HOT!!! With a burning hot griddle in front of your face throughout breakfast. I have a new appreciation for short order chefs. The food was good, but really expensive, especially since you cook it yourself. $35 for breakfast for 2. Plus the $6 park entrance fee. It was an interesting destination, but not... More

We had the pancakes and bacon. The bacon was so good, we ordered another serving. The pancakes are amazing. The only downside (we were prepared for a wait on a Sat. Morning) was how hot it gets sitting in front of the griddle.

Our family had lunch there we ordered chicken sandwich, burger, french toast and pancakes. The pancakes were very good. I really liked their own special blend of multigrain batter and my kids like the regular batter. They have 3 different types of syrup, malasses, honey and maple to go with the pancakes along with different toppings at extra charge. For... More

This is something you don't get to do many places -- go to a restaurant and cook your own breakfast! We had eaten at the Sugar Mill thirty years ago, and we were happy to find that it is not only still in business, it is popular and shows no sign of slowing down. Even on a mid-week day in... More

This is a fun place to eat..and cook. The kids loved getting to cook their own pancakes and eggs right on the table. Food was really good as well as the service. The only downside is that it is open air and can get warm especially with the griddles right in front of you.

Thank Brian K
