If you go in summer, it is HOT!!! With a burning hot griddle in front of your face throughout breakfast. I have a new appreciation for short order chefs. The food was good, but really expensive, especially since you cook it yourself. $35 for breakfast for 2. Plus the $6 park entrance fee. It was an interesting destination, but not... More

We had the pancakes and bacon. The bacon was so good, we ordered another serving. The pancakes are amazing. The only downside (we were prepared for a wait on a Sat. Morning) was how hot it gets sitting in front of the griddle.

Our family had lunch there we ordered chicken sandwich, burger, french toast and pancakes. The pancakes were very good. I really liked their own special blend of multigrain batter and my kids like the regular batter. They have 3 different types of syrup, malasses, honey and maple to go with the pancakes along with different toppings at extra charge. For... More

This is something you don't get to do many places -- go to a restaurant and cook your own breakfast! We had eaten at the Sugar Mill thirty years ago, and we were happy to find that it is not only still in business, it is popular and shows no sign of slowing down. Even on a mid-week day in... More

This is a fun place to eat..and cook. The kids loved getting to cook their own pancakes and eggs right on the table. Food was really good as well as the service. The only downside is that it is open air and can get warm especially with the griddles right in front of you.

Perfect old Florida ambience! Building is an old wooden sugar mill with some of the machinery still visible. Griddles in the center of each table to cook your own pancakes and eggs. Very unique, and yummy too. No A/C in restaurant, but screens on windows, and there is a delightful swimming area in the spring just steps outside the restaurant,... More

Visited for the first time. Restaurant has griddles built into each table where you make your own breakfast with batter supplied to you in unlimited amounts. There are two flavors, original and whole grain... original was awesome the other was not so much... in my opinion. If you want sides or eggs, no problem as long as you don't mind... More

Located inside the state park, the Old Spanish Sugar Mill specializes in pancakes that you cook at your table. For $5, you get pitches of batter including a 5 grain whole wheat that was really good. It would be fun for kids old enough to cook their own and maybe a bit worrying for those too young who might get... More

My family of 5 visited De León Spring Park and decided to eat something at this restaurant for the entertainment of preparing pancakes for the kids. We were not hungry but wanted the kids to enjoy the experience. We ordered 4 sandwiches and I ordered the pancake with 2 toppings( a plate for each). I ate 2 pancakes and my... More

Get there early if possible to avoid a wait. You do have to pay the park fee even if you are only going to eat at the restaurant. The staff are friendly and the food was good. We had pancakes and bacon. A gratuity of 18% is already added in the the bill.
