Great food and service!

I finally went to The Cellar. It was an amazing meal along with exceptional service. I can recommend this restaurant for a special occasion or for a great meal.

This was my second trip to The Cellar. They serve authentic Italian food. The service is excellent and the wine list was extensive. We ate in the "cellar" which is down a short flight of stairs. Not sure if there is an elevator. They now have dining upstairs as well but I prefer the atmosphere downstairs, although it can be... More

We dined here with friends and had a wonderful experience. The service was exceptional. (I am sorry that I cannot recall the server's name, but I believe that it begins with a "D." I hope that the owners commend him!) The menu is prix fixe and, at $80 per person, not bad for the selection and quality of the food.... More

I've been coming to this Northern Italian style restaurant for a few years now. I've recommended it to numerous friends both business and social and never heard a negative. I won't get into detail other than to say you must experience the taste of the food to truly appreciate.

I have to share our experience at this wonderful restaurant. From the minute we walked in until we left it was a very special night. The owner sat us and noticed that I was wearing black so she offered me a black napkin in lieu of the white one (this never happened to me before) and she also had a... More

Treated ourselves to a fancy night during our beach getaway and thi stopped the list. Interesting historical building connected to former President Harding. Entrees: Halibut daily special and prosciutto pasta - based on server recommendations. Perfect portions, very flavorful. Red wine was served a bit cooler than I usually enjoy, almost chilled. Overall excellent experience downstairs cellar dining. Just a... More

Many little touches from the time you are seated until you leave, like providing a purse hook, putting your napkin in your lap (I've never been fond of that gesture, like I wouldn't eventually do that...?), etc. and ensuring my dining experience is grandiose even as a solo diner. A lovely menu selection of items albeit a tad pricey which... More

This is an excellent restaurant well worth its cost. The wine list, while not large, is fairly priced (or as fairly as most restaurants anyway).

We had 5pm dinner reservations. If you want to have a more private meal, I would recommend making a 5 or 5:30 reservation. you might have the place to yourself, as we did. They do not open the doors before 5 though, so timing is important. There is plenty of parking. The restaurant itself is lovely and romantic (a little... More
