This is the best place in the area, we visit for dinner for no other reason than we like it, a lot. We have had our daughters' wedding and small reception here as well. They really gave us the Red Carpet treatment. It was perfect.

Chart House has a wonderfully relaxing atmosphere, especially if seated so you can view the yachts in the harbor of the Halifax River. We arrived at 5:30 and had the option of ordering from the early bird menu. There were about 7 choices including shrimp scampi, prime rib, and snapper. Prices ranging from $19- $25. Salad bar was $14. However,... More

First had top-shelf cocktails in the bar. Even "on-the-rocks" tasted watered down. Can't sit at the bar to see the beautiful view because all the liquor bottles are stacked against the windows at eye level. Bartender was polite but not real personable. Moved to table and one of the big windows needed replacement, so we couldn't again see the view.... More

We went for our anniversary and chose The Chart House because we have been to other locations. This is NOT on par with other Chart House(s). I'm positive that our "charcuterie plate" was pulled from a Publix deli plate, complete with tastleless cut cheese and sweating salami. Bordering on putrid. My husband's steak was GRAY. If they had actually asked... More

Red snapper was over cooked, dry. I'm blessed to have access to delicious snapper in my home town so I know snapper and the lemon butter sauce didn't even help. Bisque was unremarkable. Almost tasted like salty soup courtesy of boullion. Dirty martini was yummy, made well. My guest was not wowed by the prime rib and was looking forward... More

My husband and I went their for his birthday. They welcomed him with a happy birthday. Had a birthday card on the table and a happy birthday Frank written on a menu he took home with him. The dessert came with a candle. They made the evening fun with all the special touches. The food was excellent and service was... More

Was looking for a nice restaurant for my fiancée's birthday and I found it. Dress code was listed as smart casual but upon arrival I felt somewhat overdressed. Comfortable in a shirt and tie but saw other parties arrive in cargo shorts and polo shirts. It was fine, because I was looking good for our celebration. The table we were... More

The watermelon salad was okay, they did not have what I wanted, the charcuterie plate- so I had to decide on an alternative, I decided on the steak which had an unhealthy and unappetizing sickly gray color and no taste. The worst I've ever have in s restaurant, and I travel a lot. If you want an overpriced second hand... More

We were a party of 5 that went to the Chart House for what was anticipated to be a nice meal, to celebrate someone's 85th birthday. We made reservations for 5:30, and intended to eat off the "early dining" menu. Although the early dining menu on line specifies that the meals include salad and a dessert, we were told by... More
