We ate here twice. For our first meal we dined in the restaurant on Saturday evening. We encountered road blocks due to a Christmas parade. But we found it with some old fashioned map reading. Our second meal was on Sunday for a take out...lunch meal. The building is old but clean. Siam Spice is an authentic local eatery located right before the bridge to Daytona Beach. But far away from the overpriced Speedway tourist traps. For dinner we ordered Thai Fried Rice with tofu, Thai Fried Rice with "veggies", Pad Thai with "veggies" and Sauteed vegetable Delight. For lunch take out, we ordered Thai Fried Rice with "veggies", Green Curry with Tofu, Golden Dumpling appetizer and "Krab" Rangoon appetizer. All dishes were excellent. The waiters were very pleasant with a slight accent in their spoken English. Without the road blocks or parading locals, parking is free and plentiful. Whenever I visit Daytona, I will return to Siam Spice.More

Ever since we discovered it, we can't get enough of this place! Food is delicious, servers are extremely polite and efficient, reasonable prices. Building is old but spotlessly clean. On the corner, across street from the Daytona News-Journal building; free paarking.

I don't know why it took so long for us to get there. The food was the best oriental food we have ever had and here it is locally. I had the Pad See-Ew and my husband the Lard Na. Can't wait to come back...and make it a regular.More

We went there for lunch yesterday and ordered off the lunch menu. Started out our lunch sharing a summer roll. It came with two rolls and was a light refreshing appetizer and the peanut sauce was very good. I had the drunken noodles with chicken...and my friend had the same with pork. We both ordered ours medium (two peppers). The choices are mild, medium, hot, and thai hot. Mine was a little hotter than the medium that I've had elsewhere but still very good. My friends was more medium until she got to the bottom of the dish and then it was really spicy like mine. I ordered an order with beef made hot to go for my husband. I thought it was hot because when I opened the container to make sure it's what I ordered, my eyes water. However, my husband didn't think it was hot enough so I'll get him Thai hot next time and probably order mine mild to medium. For dessert we had the mango with sticky rice. The mango was very fresh and perfectly ripe and the sticky rice was cooked perfectly. The prices here are very reasonable and the portions are generous. I took half my entree and dessert home. I will definitely be going back to try other things on the menu. There is free parking behind the building in the public parking lot.More

Step away from the crowds on the beach and cross the small bridge to Beach St and this wonderful corner restaurant. The food is spectacular and what an immaculate place to eat. Their curry is just amazing and this time we tried something new. Crispy...Duck Salad is the most delicious thing I have ever tried! It is something I never would have ordered but will definitely return for again. Wait staff is so informative and helpful. Try it out. You will be glad you did!More
