My experience at the Davenport ale house was great. The server daisy was friendly and professional with excellent service and the atmosphere was very inviting. We had veg pasta and fish sandwich both were amazing. Flavorful food!I would highly recommend this place
I’m from Canada and stopped into this location with my boyfriend. The food arrived quickly and was all really good! We had loaded fries, wings and fajitas and they were all hot and came with plenty of food! The patio is super cute, they played...a variety of good music, and it had an overall good vibe. The price point on the food and drinks were super reasonable. We got to briefly meet one of the owners, Chris, who was really friendly and kind. I would absolutely go back, especially in the warmer weather!More
Food was unsatisfactory. Sent back and recieved another meal. Manager says help has quit. We had been there several weeks before and it was the same excuse. Seems to be a problem with the management that they are unable to keep staff
We like going...there because it is convenient to our home.More
Came in for lunch with 2 friends before an afternoon of shopping. We were seated in a booth and given menus. We asked for coffee only to find out they did not serve coffee. Our meal came and we had to ask for napkins. We...were told they only the small beverage napkins, not full size dinner napkins. We each went through about 4 or 5 of these tiny napkins, only good enough to absorb the sweat from a glass. We were there for some time after eating and had to finally ask for our checks. Waitress was really slow and laid back. Our thing was that if you serve a pretty full menu, and you serve people at tables and booths, why diminish the experience with the no coffee, and the no napkins. It is a sports bar and serves meals. This should be addressed. We all agreed that we would not go back and would not recommend anyone else going there for lunch or dinner.More
One of the worst restaurants we’ve ever been too. Service was terrible and food was so-so. Don’t order a Philadelphia cheese steak, it was totally dry. Worst of all was the service especially when the place was not that busy and it appeared there was...plenty of help. Would never go back.More
Our party of 6, 2 children, arrived at the restaurant at 4:10 PM on a Thursday. Seated quickly, but service went downhill from there. No idea how long we waited for the waitress to come to the table to take our drink & appetizer order,...we had to ask for silverware, no idea how long for anything to arrive, but the short story is 2 in our party ordered the special, with a side of guacamole, never got the guacamole. Food delivered was not our order, partial order was delivered, took another 10 minuted for the rest of the order to come. Waitress was no where to be seen. Asked for water refill, another waitress delivered. Asked for our check, never came. Flagged down another waiter, asked for our check, he said he would find our server. Another 10 minutes pass, my husband asked for the manager. He started up to the desk where the cashier was, and a woman approached him and asked if he was ready to pay. He asked if she was the manager, and she said yes, was there a problem? He starts to tell her, and she pulls up our receipt and says, well, that's not on your bill. He asked for a discount, and she stared at him blankly. We walked out of there at 6:10 PM, hungry, and totally uninterested in ever returning.More
Very noisy, terrible music, lousy service, no drink menus on table (when I asked about drinks the person said they have Pepsi products, no other drinks!) Before we left I saw a drinks menu on another table with lots of choices, not just their specials....Teriyaki chicken was very overdone, broccoli was mushy, rice serving was minuscule - I had to look under the small chicken breast to find it. They do not have any gluten free options - my husband got sauteed shrimp and three scoops of mashed potatoes - not an attractive dish.
When we entered we were told the wait would be an hour, however while we were reviewing the menu to see if we wanted o come back later the wait time changed to 15 minutes so we stayed. We were seated, waited more than 15 minutes, and finally the hostess came back and took our order. After another wait, someone from the kitchen came back to check on the GF order of shrimp. Then, another half hour passed before we got our food. I had trouble cutting my chicken and when I turned it over, it was very dark and hard. When the waitress checked on us a few minute later she offered to bring replacement I declined and said I did not want to wait another 45 minutes.
Our lunch turned in to an early dinner and took over two hours. Needless to say, we will not return!More
The weekend special $3 beer was sold out on Friday night (free beer yesterday). There was was 8 of us on Valentines and we were seated immediately outdoors but moved indoors shortly thereafter because of the temperature. Very friendly server. We ordered drinks and food....The drinks came quickly but the food took nearly an hour. When it came it was very good and enjoyed by all.More
We went to dinner after a long day of adventures in Orlando. This place was near the house we were staying at so we popped in.
We got seated in the back near the games and pool-table which was less than ideal but I was...still okay with it.
The issue came when we ordered. My sister and I received our meals first and then our appetizer before anyone else at our table (4 others) received their meal, so everyone sort of awkwardly ate during dinner. The food was fine, nothing special but nothing bad either, the fries are really good though.
Since we got done way before anyone else at our table, we decided to play some arcade games at the back... except that most of them are broken when we tried to play them or weren't plugged in (i'm not really sure, but either way you couldn't play them)
Overall the place needs work as its a bit of a dive in terms of atmosphere and service quality.
I'd recommend trying another restaurant given how many of them there are in the area.More
