This was a huge restaurant, so social distancing was easy to accomplish. All of the employees were masked, but we did see some patrons maskless - and far from us. The menu has many items to choose from, but Monday is 99¢ tacos, so I got 3 beef. You can also get bean or chicken. They come with lettuce and cheese. Husband gave me his guacamole, tomatoes and sour cream from his classic fajitas. He kept the beans and rice.
Both of our entrees were hot and tasty. Husband said his chicken was pictured as long strips, which would have made it easier to make his fajitas. He got short pieces of chicken which made the fajita bulkier. But it WAS good. I don’t recall pictures of my tacos. Just lettuce and cheese would have been good, but the guacamole and sour cream made them exceptional. Three were more filling than anticipated. Two would have been plenty! Husband said he had way too much food.
Our server was pleasant, efficient, and quick. When he noticed our drinks were down to a third, he picked them up and refilled them. When I was done, he whisked my plate away. He didn’t take my husband’s plate, but he was done, even though he didn’t eat everything. We really wanted the check dropped off, and it was slow to come. I think this was due to him having a lot of tables that were far way from each other. All in all, this was a good choice for Mexican food.

DH and I visited and sat at the bar. Amber made a great Don Julio margarita. The chips and salsa were very tasty. DH loved his plentiful fajitas, we took about half home. Unfortunately, I did not enjoy my gummy enchiladas, seemed like they were microwaved. Will return for drinks, salsa, fajitas but pass on the rest.

El Jalisco is consistently very good. Excellent service (especially this visit on Leap Day). Cold beer, delicious food served hot and promptly. Our server and the bartender came by several times to ask if everything was ok or did we need anything else. Service and food as it should be.

Delicious authentic Mexican food that is served fast and accurately. They have spades out the seating due ton covid19 but that should not stop you from getting a great meal.
All of the fajitas were fantastic with ample portions. We had steak, shrimp and chicken (combination of these choices are also available) with the traditional accompanying sides of rice, decried beans, salsa, Lettuce, onions, peppers, and ample amount of sour cream and guacamole.
They offer two for one prices on Margaritas and beer. A perfect combination!

Only get to dine at El Jalisco when visiting vacation property nearby, but each meal refreshes memory of the culinary delights that make this a standout Mexican restaurant. This time we were seated in the louder "bar room" yet the flavors quickly took demanding focus. Adobe chicken was delightful although the entre and refried beans were smaller portions than in the past (so we didn't have any take-outs for later). Second dish was the Cancun Fajitas (Mahi, Krab, Shrimp & veggies) abounding with flavor. We also decided that Jalisco table salsa is a favorite with enough cilantro and zing to make it delightful. The dining experience here is a treat we long for.
Sadly, inflation impact imposes some sacrifices; El Jalisco has held prices by reducing portions slightly. Glad that quality has not been sacrificed with quantity.

Excellent food,friendly servers and clean facility. Bring your friends and family. Reccomend the Table Side Guacamole appetizer,prepared to your taste and heat tolerance which is large enough to share with one or more people. Entrees are man size portions so bring your appetite.

For the crowds they handle, this place seems to always be on top of their game. The environment is welcoming, service is great and food seldom disappoints. Although my wife thrives on the Adobe Chicken and orders it regularly, I wanted to try something new. The El Jalisco Poblano Relleno came sizzling hot and stayed hot throughout until the unfinished portion was transferred to take-out box. My only reservation was with their carnitas being soft rather than crunchy, so I'll order that elsewhere.

First visit with my family of 6 to the Crawfordville location since we moved to the coast. Had enjoyed many a meal at the North Monroe Tallahassee location. Not busy at all when we arrived. Placed our drink order almost immediately and recieved them just as quick. We were given 2 large baskets of chips and multiple bowls of salsa. Chips were warm and crunchy and salsa was perfectly spiced to all our tastes. Once food was ordered, It arrived in a very reasonable amount of time. All meals were hot and appeared appetizing. On one was disappointed as all but my wife finished their food. She said it was delicious but more than she could eat. Our oldest grandson took up her slack and finished off her meal. 6 different meals some with adjustments to the order came out exactly as ordered. Our waiter was very attentive and made our dining there a great experience. It has become our favorite food stop.

It can be a risky proposition to bring dinner guests to a 'new-to-us' mexican watering hole, but the locals obviously approve by their smiles and even take-out orders. Ole! Our party of five cautiously waited in the active, festive lobby; we sensed something good was on our horizon. It started with a great, out-of-the-way table and attentive staff. Colorful menu may have complicated our choices, but all appetites were well satisfied to overflowing (3 boxes of carryover delights left with us). Our guests first remarked on excellent salsa and la bebida. They were floored when the Master Parrillada arrived sizzling and overflowing with flavor! Other favorites at the table were Carnitas, Pollo Adobe, and Victor's Favorite (seafood combination in creamy-crispy fried burrito). The big mystery is how anyone saves room for their tempting desserts.

The food came out just as pictured and tasted great. The waiter was very attentive. Everyones food was great as we all chose something different. Service was amazing, definitely recommend

needed take out between a boat tour at Wakulla Springs and a trip to the Tallahassee airport. Tacos were tasty, came with beans and chips, nice lunch outside on their picnic tables

We were attracted to this restaurant by the large sign on their roof top advertising "AMERICAN BREAKFAST" We were hungry for ham and eggs. It was 11:00 AM but we were to late. Their large sign did not state their timeframe for serving "THE AMERICAN BREAKFAST" We were disappointed but decided to eat here any way as food services are very limited in the area. The food was just so so, the wait staff was slow and more concerned with picking up the breakfast condiments than taking our orders. We waited 45 minutes for our meals to be delivered to our table. Upon leaving this establishment, I nearly slipped and fell on the dirty greasy floor when exiting the less than clean restroom. Need less to say, I cannot give this restaurant high marks, nor recommended it to others.

The lunch price was so good, we ate here three times! The waitstaff was good. The food was delicious. The fried ice cream was just okay. The topping was changed, it tasted like cereal.
