The coconut cream pie was so delicious, rich, creamy, swooning at every bite. I'd like the recipe!! The tomato shrimp pie also wonderful, rich and so tasty. I wish the oyster stew was something I could also brag about...needs some of grandmother's touch. Owner was great to talk with, real good guy. Happy to have met him and had dinner... More

Some of the best seafood in the area. The homemade salad dressing is to die for. Leo Lovell, the owner always has an entertaing story to spin.

The idea of "old Florida" is alive and well at this sort of out of the way restaurant. Atmosphere is a rustic step back in time. Service was exceptionally good and the food was also awesome! We will likely make a special detour to visit this restaurant again.. . .

Started out with a big cold metal bowl of DIY salad. Wedge, onions, cherry tomatoes, cucumber slices. Dressing in wine bottle was good. Bowl of crab and shrimp chowder was great $12. Group throats and friend shrimp about $25 each. Slice of homemade coconut creme pie was excellent at $6. The decor really needs updated. Overall great seafood, but there's... More

Wife and I go there once in a while. I had the best scallops there, but they aren't always there. We have tried their specials which are usually very good. I love their salad, it is fresh produce and you make it yourself. The house dressing is really good. I have heard the have a great prime rib, but it... More

This place is right at the end of the road, so you gotta be going there, its not on the way to anywhere else. You can see from the pictures that it is unchanged for decades, but in a good way. If you order the right stuff it is fantastic. The owner catches much of the fish and it is... More

This place has a nice atmosphere. The furniture is old-fashioned and sea-like. We started with a good salad. We ordered mullet, seafood and steak. All of the meals were okay, but I wouldn't say it has been delicious. We paid about 27 dollar each. Not the best value for money in town, but combined with the friendly service this still... More

It's kind of small so call ahead. We had a party of 16, called ahead, had room for 10, but then had to wait for a table to open up for the other six, which took a half hour. Food was good, but not exciting. The salad came with a head of lettuce cut in fours, and the drinks came... More

Found this purely by chance and how glad we were, the service by Cedar was second to none, the food was delicious our first time tasting cheese grits as recommended by Cedar, we both had fish, I had the flounder which was superb and my husband had a selection of fish the Mates Platter, which again was great. Cedar said... More

When we are celebrating a special occasion this is my favorite place to share a delicious meal. They have fresh local seafood in a relaxed kid friendly environment. The service is fast and friendly.
