We have had a pretty good meal a number of times now at this place. Huge selection of food on the menu and probably another 20 daily specials on the chalk board. Mostly pretty good, perhaps the rolls are on the large side with too much rice. Not a fancy place but good value for the money.

The fish here is super fresh and it has great sushi. It's my favorite traditional sushi in the gables. It's a bit dark but it is a great spot for a business lunch. It does get very busy at peak hours but if you avoid them the service is quick. I usually go for the salmon. Avocado roll and sashimi.

You can barely walk between the tables. It was lunch time and there must have been about 6 inches between our table and the people next to us. The pieces of sashimi were tiny. The tempura was cold. The servers were very polite and attentive.

We went with friends and family on a weekend and the place was full. Still service was fast and good. The sushi, sashimi are good, as was the uni, very nice items from the chalk board like the octupus, big eye tune, pork belly and the rest. Not a fancy place, indeed a fairly traditional looking one and you get... More

You can find many fancy place in Miami, and unfortunately even more boring average or worse. Su Shin Izakaya a place where you can eat really nice Japanese dishes. Small plates and variety of meats and fishes as usual in an izakaya. But most of them are absolutely delicious and fine. I had an opportunity to taste a lot from... More

Good vibe, consistently full but by pure luck we've never had to wait. Specials on the boards are generally a good bet. Ramen is not great but is sadly the best I've found so far in the area. Other than that the food's quite good. Sushi offerings, while not being especially creative, are very tasty. Overall a solid 4 stars.

We love this place and eat here weekly at the Sushi Bar. They have caulk boards on the walls and offer all kinds of daily Japanese specialties. At any given time about half the customers will be Japanese so that's always a good sign. Everything is good and the portion sizes are perfect. The service staff are helpful and very... More

Great choice of food. Bring a sweater or jacket. Shame the servers don't know what shochu is. Affordable but can get rather crowded, reserve in advance if they will accept you.

I love this place! They have daily specials with tapas sized plates to sample a variety of exotic Japanese foods. Even the brown rice is delicious. You can request raw wasabi!! Excellent!
