Flamenco Night Out

Not our first time at this restaurant. Wine list is very good. The list can be significantly improved with excellent less expensive wines. Tapas are reasonably priced and very good. The Boquerones, Galician Octopus, Croquettes and others transport you to Spain. The Cochinillo was good, but a bit over done and dry for my taste. The night cap with Pacharán is the perfect closing for a very good dinner with friends. The Flamenco show was very entertaining and the singer knows how to captivate the audience. Overall, very good and recommendable experience.

Very good ambiance, attentive staff

We went to dinner the night before Easter Sunday. We would have liked to sit outside but it was too cool for us. So we asked to be moved inside and they very graciously accommodated us. The staff is very attentive. The food was generally good. We did not care too much for the "croquetas" but the jabugo ham and manchego cheese were good, although they are expensive. We shared a filet steak (solomillo) and it was done quite well, one finishes the cooking at the table on a hot iron. We did not have dessert. A nice place, with nice staff.

Great experience!!

We really enjoyed our visit to Belmont! The food was delicious & very authentic. We started with the garbanzos with chorizo & artichokes with mushrooms & manchego & followed that with perfectly done lamb chops. So good! And the bread to go with it was delicious! Dessert was tarta de Santiago & homemade turron ice cream - as good as it sounds! The owners were so welcoming & kept checking with us to make sure all was well. Wine suggestion was perfect! There was a flamenco show around 8:15 & was wonderful! Such good food! Such good service! Such an enjoyable night!

Good food and good service

We get in without reservation and was seated right away. Staff nice and helpful give us time to choose and ask about the menu choices. There are a Spanish music and flamenco dance presentation that was entertaining. The only concern was the time to get the food, about 40 minutes after we order, it was only one paella in six orders, they inform that is a 30 minute preparation time. I don’t know if because the live show they added 20% gratuity in our check.

This review covers two dinners. On both our dinner took over two hours, and was raw cochinillo asado. Because we are local residents and very fond of Spanish cuisine, we gave it a second chance after the first disaster. Both were the same. The service was slow, arrogant, and misleading about cooking time. Later we learned than the oven wasn’t even on. When our asado finally came, after 2 hrs of waiting, it was not well cooked. Meat close to the bone was raw. We should not have returned for the second time. Shameful

Misleading Valentine's Day menu, mediocre food

Fixed Valentin'e Day menu changed without notice. After my complaint, substitutes of appetizers were brought that were poor tasteless last-minute items. The corvino main dish was also tasteless, overcooked, the mushroom base soggy. Their main dish is pork, apparently, which my wife liked.. Overpriced for the quallity (or lack thereof) of the meal.

Mr. Meander790334, I truly believe you have made a mistake and this review belongs to a different restaurant. Our Valentine's Day menu was posted prior to valentine's day, and it is still on our website under the tab EVENTS, scroll down, and view PAST EVENTS. We didn't offer any of the two dishes you have mentioned. For the fish we offered Cantabric Seabass, and we did not have pork on the menu. We offered: lamb chops, paellas, churrasco, and beef tenderloin besides the seabass. We did not substitute any of the dishes published. I take this opportunity to invite you to our venue and try authentic flavors of Spain. Our next Flamenco Show Under The Stars will take place on Saturday, March 13. Hope to see you there! Be safe.

Authentic Spanish Treat

Such a pleasant surprise to discover this Spanish foodie experience! From fresh bread with incredible olive oil to tender gambas al ajillo, to paella that needs to be ordered half an hour in advance (so that it's cooked perfectly a la minute), it was a delectable treat. The quality of ingredients and authentic recipes shined through in every dish. There is an impressive Spanish wine list too. Service was attentive. The owner Sergio greeted us and told us about flamenco shows every other week. We are coming back!!

It’s like a war zone trying to get in. They told us 1 hr so we walked around for 30 min. They were way past us when I asked about how much longer. Not a great system for getting people a table. I guess when you are this busy you can treat customers poorly.

This time I ordered food to take out, and for the first time my seafood paella lacked a little seasoning. It was not as usual. Regardless, good portions for the price, good food and very good service. I will give it another try

Bellmont never disappoints!!

I ordered to pick up, and as it is usual, the service was very good, and the food delicious, in good size servings, and prices are reasonable. If you like Spanish food you should try this place. I had dinner here and the restaurant is spotless clean, the atmosphere inviting to enjoy a great dinner, service is really good, and I already talked about the food. I will return here anytime

It was a bit ago, before the pandemic. Over priced, bad service. We had reservation, yet they sat us towards the back. We were completely ignored. The food was over priced and not good. My husband was very upset and even complained to the manager. It was pretty mush brushed off. I will never return especially when you can find better Spanish restaurants in Miami

Wish this was closer to home!

We went on a weeknight and had a delightful dinner with authentic Spanish food. Thoroughly enjoyed meeting and talking with Sergio who is from Madrid. We had Wine, Pimientos de Piquillo, and Entrees. Enjoyed it all and love to support local restaurants.

Authentic Spanish Food

This is our favorite Spanish restaurant by far. The food is excellent and the service attentive. We particularly like the Tapas. The wine list is extensive and they also have excellent Spanish beer.
