Yes, it's a little funky, but this is a really inviting spot. The day we had a business lunch, their A/C went out (middle of summer - ouch)! In spite of the hiccup, we made the most of the experience, and enjoyed the French hospitality quite a bit. The French onion soup was a big hit. Loved it! The mussels... More

After a busy week, we visited Frenchie's on a Friday night at approx. 8pm. Street parking was plentiful, a table for two was available without any advance reservation so it seemed karma was in our favor. After introducing himself with a very thick French accent, our waiter Marco delivered menus and drink options. So many items sounded appealing , panic... More

I guess the name says it. They have tried to recreate a small neighbourhood French Bistro with everything from mismatched water glasses and coffee cups to the decor (though not sure why Rosie the riveter was there. Maybe a French partisan offering!) They even had Badoit. So good to have a French option to all the Cuban and other Spanish... More

Most of the staff are French, the chef American but married to a man from Picardy. The onion soup is genuine, the potato-leek soup is perfect. Croque Monsieur and Salade Nicoise are both exceptional, creative versions of classics. You'll never regret dining here, but your waist will know you've been here.

What a great little restaurant. I went here for the first time with my family, and had a great dinner. I ordered the French Onion Soup, if not the best it ranks in the top 2 French Onion Soup I have ever had. I followed it with the Steak Bernaise, the was fantastic as well. My family members ordered Muscles,... More

Finally made my way into Frenchie's after several attempts. They are closed on Mondays, and take just about every holiday off. Have to say ... it was worth the wait! Frenchie's is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!! The casual setting is small, and off the beaten path. A bit like a best kept secret. We arrived early for lunch, and before long, every... More

I have visited Paris at least five times and I know a little bit about French food and speak a little bit of French myself. I was very happy originally to find this place and I have now tried it three times. I don't think I will be going again. It is very overpriced for what they offer. I do... More

Out of the way but well worth finding. Unique takes on some traditions were wonderful surprises. Quiche that stands up tall but so light it seems to vaporize in a puff of subtle flavors. Chocolate mousse full of smooth bubbles but made dense by caramel - intense! Much more. Go find out yourself.

Enjoyed my lunch here very much! Great food and charming service. The steak and frittes plate was excellent and the soup was superb. Will definitely go back again...and again...
