My husband and I frequent Talavera. The good served is not common Mexican food. The preparation and plates are more sophisticated. Drinks are awesome and Margaritas are to die for!!! Try the Queso Fundido with Chorizo as appetizer, it is delicious! If you celebrate a birthday there, they give you a gift certificate for a next visit, which is quite... More

If this isn't the best Mexican cocina in the Miami/South Florida area or the Southeast region, then I will gladly return my foodie card. Literally from the start with a killer Don Julio margarita (up) or two, to the huge and delicious guac and chips with hot sauces, to the melted queso, to my huge chicken quesadilla, everything was perfect!... Tacos al pastor a must. They had all tacos you can eat for 10$ before 7pm. Service was excellent. They also have happy hour until 7pm.

Nice place for gourmet Mexican. Nice vegetarian options. Had an issue with server who did not want to take time to explain menu, made it seem like I was annoying him or didn't have time to answer any questions. Had to speak to manager to get a simple explanation as to why something on the menu was not available.

Stopped by for an early dinner before a show and was once again very pleased with the quality of the food, the very attentive service and the overall ambiance of this restaurant. From the blue ceramic plates to the Taxco silver inspired placemats the atmosphere is great. They have a great selection of Margaritas of course as well as a... More

My partner and I ate at the bar on a crowded Saturday night, and enjoyed it maybe even more than sitting at a table or booth. Our terrific server, Christian, made sure we had everything we needed all the time--both drinks and food. I love the classic margaritas, with salt on the rim. Go in September so you can order... Service was excellent, food was great for the most part and the ice pop was really nostalgic. Came with a party of 10!

Mexico.... home of Talavera, the unique fine art pottery from the 16th Century, native of the city of Puebla.

This genuine and refined Mexican spirit of the Talavera art sets the ground for the spirit of our menu. From the "Huarache" grill, a series of delicate dishes served on a corn tortilla base, to a variety of regional specialties from Sonora to Oaxaca, from Michoacan to Puebla, from Jalisco to Yucatan.

Talavera, the art of a genuine and refined taste of Mexico.
