I have become tired of the same old Mexican food even at the good places, but this was special. Usually hard to tell the difference between one dish and the other. Not here, food was wonderful and a visual delight, actually took a picture. Never did that before. Got there 11:30 , had choice of tables, place was full by... More

We were here for a group dinner (maybe 25 people?), and everyone was pleased with their meals. The guacamole was very good, and even the chips and salsas were good. I enjoyed my margarita, and thought the glasses of wine were reasonably priced. The flavors were great, and it was a nice change from the regular "Tex Mex" that's so... More

Great atmosphere, wonderful service, love the happy hour! Had the Mexican street Tacos, best I have ever had! Highly recommend, enjoy the margaritas, blue corn chips and salsa! Watch out of for the green salsa, very hot, but very good! Enjoy!

A New Year's Eve visit to Talavera was most memorable with another great meal. This was at least third visit to this excellent Mexican restaurant and worthy of any visit to the Coral Gables area. Friendly service accompanied a pleasant meal featuring very fresh seafood. Excellente!

Good Mexican restaurant in a typical area in Miami. Enjoy tamales with chocolate and very authentic micheladas. Guacamole is a must. Fresh and hand made. Delicious

Was very please with knowledgeable Servers and great food. (Queso fundido with chorizo was delectable) Flavors taste like authentic Mexican cuisine and loved every bite. Margaritas were delish (passion fruit was my fave)

Many options and delicious food. Lunch specials come with a drink. Portions are good, they offer nachos and guacamole as free appetizer

We arrived late afternoon for our first visit ever to Miami. Being tourists we found the Coral Gables area a tad boring and stumbled on the Talavera completely by chance. From the outside the restaurant looked welcoming and the staff could not have been more helpful. We had the guacamole appetiser and a couple of other small bits and pieces.... More

Mexico.... home of Talavera, the unique fine art pottery from the 16th Century, native of the city of Puebla.

This genuine and refined Mexican spirit of the Talavera art sets the ground for the spirit of our menu. From the "Huarache" grill, a series of delicate dishes served on a corn tortilla base, to a variety of regional specialties from Sonora to Oaxaca, from Michoacan to Puebla, from Jalisco to Yucatan.

Talavera, the art of a genuine and refined taste of Mexico.
