My husband and I visited this fantastic restaurant for the first time for lunch today, Monday. We arrived about 12:30. The restaurant was busy, but we did not have to wait for a booth. Our server, who was also the hostess told us they are...extremely understaffed and will be closed Tuesdays to give workers a day off. We were promptly served renowned fritters with a dusting of powdered sugar. Amazing. We order Canaveral Platters in order to taste a variety of seafood. For starters, we had Greek salads, which were fresh and a pleasant change from the usual house salads. Our other side was sweet potato fries, also excellent. Everything on our plentiful platters was delicious, probably the best seafood we have ever tasted. The scallops were noteworthy and sweet. The fish, shrimp, rock shrimp, and stuffed crab were equally tantalizing. My platter was done scampi style and my husband's, fried. Both were exceptional. The ambience is great, but the only downside was no water views from the tables. Without beverages, our total was under $50. We definitely hope to return soon. We highly recommend this establishment!More
We got there at about 4:30pm and had a short wait at the bar. 2 bloody mary's was 26.00 (Titos vodka) which was a a bit excessive. The food was wonderful. My husband had the seafood boil and I had the Scallops Oscar. Entree came...with a salad-my greek salad was superb. Also came with fritters.
Our waitress was great. She ran across two parking lots to bring us our souvenir glasses that we forgot on the table!
It gets very, very busy as the evening progresses.More
I know this place is popular and if you go after 5:30; you’ll wait. We ordered a bowl of chowder to share and it came in a bread bowl which was a waste, would of rather had more soup. Salad came same time as soup....We barely dipped our spoons and dinner came. We complained to the waitress our dinner would get cold, she just shrugged her shoulder. Except for that, she was an excellent waitress. I ordered the shrimp that was a substitute for rock shrimp. It came broiled with butter. Both the shrimp and butter was cold. The shrimp was tasteless and the butter wasn’t butter. I couldn’t eat it. The grits were also cold. My husband had a fried combo but it had an aftertaste of overused grease. I guess it’s hit and miss but we won’t return.More
If you make a stop in Cocoa Beach for food, it should be here. We came here about 8 years ago just to try it and every time we come to Florida, we come back. If we stay in Orlando, we make a trip to...Cocoa Beach, of course for the ocean, but also to eat here. The food is outstanding, service is amazing, and everything is consistent over the years.
Favorite dishes are steak oscar, boil combo, volcano rolls, fritters, and my daughter wants me to be sure I mention the kids cheese quesadilla—very cheesy. No one in our family has left disappointed in the numerous tones we have been here. If you like drinks, the jalapeño margarita is delicious.
Truly, this is our favorite restaurant in Cocoa Beach.More
No reservations for parties smaller than six. Food was fantastic, waitress was very attentive. I got the fish tacos and they were wonderful, I could only eat two of the three that came. Boyfriend got prime rib with a lobster on the side. He had...nothing but great things to say about his meal! We both really enjoyed our dinner and the decor inside was very nice with aquariums partitioning different seating sections. Definitely worth a stop.More
We are seafood fanatics when we come to Florida, and we come a lot. We have seafood at every meal, of some form. The menu here is huge and so very much to choose from. Took us longer to decide what to order than it...did to get our food. There are options if you aren't a seafood lover. There were 10 of us, and we all ordered something different, and different appetizers. From the crab & shrimp dip, lobster seafood fritters, gator tail and cups of clam chowder, its no wonder we needed boxes for our entrees. Between all of us, we had a variety of seafood dishes, and one steak. Absolutely everything was delicious, hot and fresh, and such HUGE portions. Prices are very reasonable. The atmosphere is very "oceany", lots of fish tanks for the kids to look at, walls full of cool stuff. Very comfortable, relaxed, casual restaurant. Our server Savannah was spot on. Place was packed, but we called ahead and let them know we were coming. You certainly won't be disappointed here!More
