First time to Flavour Kitchen! Enjoyable Decor & Atmosphere but the music was just way too loud. Sometimes the service personnel forget that the music is for atmosphere not to prepare customers for a rock concert. The food was very good and the service was also very good. I would have given 5 Stars if not for the music. One item of note: If you are ordering wine make sure you do so by the bottle. The pours by the glass seem a little skimpy for the prices being charged. Their prices for bottles of wine is in line with other restaurants in the area. I always give restaurants two visits. If nothing else the Truffled French Fries with Blue Cheese with a bottle of Chardonnay and a pair of ear plugs might be the ticket.

To celebrate our 17th wedding anniversary, my husband and I went to Cocoa Beach for the weekend. We fell in love all over again with each other and discovered our new favorite restaurant: Flavour Kitchen & Wine Bar. We showed up a bit early for our reservation so sat at the wine bar to see what was available. My favorite rose, Fleur de Prairie, is offered by the glass or bottle. James, the bartender, is attentive and spent just enough time with us to make us feel comfortable. Chef Jason came out from the kitchen and stopped by to say hello. To our surprise, two minutes later we gave up our table and were sitting at the chef's table within talking distance of Chef Jason and Sous Chef Derrick. There the magic began. My husband will write his own review on Trip Advisor, so I will discuss my dinner only. Starting with the wedge salad, I was astonished by the velvety blue cheese dressing, bits of bacon and full flavors of the salad. I usually am not a fan of wedge salads, but the plating of this allowed for full flavors in each bite. I have a lot of food intolerances/allergies and Chef Jason took time to listen, then created my dinner. On the menu it read: "NY Strip". Now imagine a salad, perfectly seasoned and cooked NY Strip (I prefer Med Rare, and it was) with the most amazing hand cut fries made with blue cheese crumbles and black truffle oil. O.M.G. We talked, laughed, interacted with Chef Jason, had a lot time to ourselves, were visited by James, and felt so wanted as customers. Before I describe my dessert, I want to address the subject of the music. Chef Jason has curated a playlist that adds energy to the restaurant while masking the conversations of those around you. My husband and I are both senior citizens, knew the words to many, many songs, were able to hear each other speak, did not need to shout, and loved the energy. Disclaimer - I love dessert and am very critical. I chose the chocolate mousse and could not stop smiling while slowing savoring each spoonful. Served in a martini glass, the portion is perfect. Chef makes all the desserts himself. This was dark chocolate mousse whipped exactly as I'd hoped, topped with a light confection of whipped cream (that was not sweet) and every so many bites I'd find a dark pitted cherry treasure to eat. We made an instant decision to cancel reservations at a very special restaurant and returned the next evening for our anniversary dinner. Needless to say, we were welcomed back with energy and fantastic food. FYI - public parking is available on the street, or in a public pay lot around the block.

Upon recommendation of a friend we went for dinner at Flavour Kitchen Thursday night. The space has a dozen tables which allows a more personal experience. The server greeted us right away and was attentive throughout the evening. Chef Jason came to our table and we had a wonderful conversation. We asked for suggestions, he listened to our likes and dislikes and he helped us choose. My wife had the NY Steak with truffle fries, I had the evening special, a Mini-Roast with potato wedges and a Sunny Side Up Quail Egg. We followed that with a delicious Coffee Cake and Carmel sauce and Key Lime Cannolis. Whomever said earlier that “Chef Jason has a passion to cooking a wonderful meal” was spot on. Our meal was fantastic. My only disappointment was when I realized the meal was finished.

Came here to Flavour Kitchen as an recommendation from Facebook friends for my birthday dinner. After researching many reviews and the menu my boyfriend and I decided to give it a try. We arrived a bit early but the girl was very nice of getting us drinks while we waited. The place is small but well decorated. I noticed it was smokey when we walked in, I dont know if the chef burned something earlier and was airing out or that's just part of the atmosphere of the restaurant either way it was concering to me as I am on blood thinners and second hand smoke does not mix well. But the smoke cleared up while we were eating dinner. Service was good out waitress was very attentive and gave great recommendations and explained our apps perfectly to us. We ordered the cheese board pick 6 and everything on that board was delicious! We also ordered the smoked salmon nachos which were pretty good as well. Our entrees were just ok but we weren't blown away by anything. He ordered the NY strip that came with the truffle blue cheese fries and greens. He liked most of it but didn't enjoy the silver skin that the chef had left on there. I ordered the boneless pan-seared chicken with mashed potato's and an order of the fries. My chicken was not boneless the sauce came with was not a sauce but more like a runny soup and didn't really help the chicken. I still felt like the chicken was missing something to dip in. As for the fries they were cooked well but way to much truffle oil and need to be put back in the oven so the blue cheese can melt a little on the fries, every time I went to get one all of the blue cheese fell off. Reading most of the reviews stating that the chef comes over to the table and talks or checks up on you about your meal that did not happen us after I watched him go to every table but ours and it was even all that busy. Would come here for apps and drinks but not dinner again.

Open Table try south of Cocoa Beach, kind of on the Main Street. Took a bit of finding and parking but worked ok. Our table was waiting with our name on it and we liked the atmosphere. A nice selection of wines and interesting menu. Stuck with several small plates. Service was attentive and prompt and all our food came hot and fresh. The music is a bit overwhelming if you’re conversing, otherwise a comfortable setting and good food.

We visited Flavour Kitchen while on a weekend trip to Cocoa. It was a phenomenal dining experience. The bartender/server was extremely attentive and kind; he was obviously very experienced in the restaurant business. The owner/chef was friendly and each dish we had was delectable. The charcuterie board was perfect and we chose to complement it with the Maple Chili Bacon. We then had short ribs and hush puppies for our meal and topped off the night with a white chocolate and rhubarb/cherry mousse. They also had a lovely wine selection. We chose the French Bordeaux. Overall, it was one of our favorite dining experiences ever. Highly recommend!

We had tickets to see SpaceX's CRS-20 launch, but that was not scheduled until 11:50 pm. We thought we better get something to eat prior to heading out to the Kennedy Space Center. We originally were going to try a different place, but there was no seating available. We thought we'd keep looking and fortunately they had a table for two available. We were in luck. We did not want a big meal and fortunately this restaurant features small plates. We each ordered two small plates. I started with the caprese stack and followed that with the black salmon special. Both were very good. My wife had the beet salad and tri-color Mac and cheese. Very filling! We came away seated and ready for the launch. Service was really good.

We were in Cocoa Beach for our wedding anniversary and took a chance on Flavours. What a great 'lucky' choice. Having booked, we were early and went to the bar where we were greeted by James the barman. We chatted for a while and then Chef Jason came over and talked with us. He told us to stay at the bar as we already had "our real estate" at the bar and then changed his mind and invited us to the Chefs table. Chef Jason is a high energy cook and each dish is his product. His Sous Chef Derek is his right hand man and completed the pair. Well served by Derek with out drinks we happily tucked into out meal. Mine was Spanish Octopus, which I love, and then on a whole Red Snapper. Im not a dessert person but my wife's dessert looked wonderful and the next night I also had a dessert. I say next night because the following day was our wedding anniversary and we canceled our restaurant booking and went back to Flavours for another taste of Chef Jason's cooking. This is a must for visitors to CCB wishing to get away from the normal and taste well cooked and presented food at reasonable prices

Sadly, this was one of our favorite restaurants in Coco Beach and we travelled from central Florida to visit multiple times. The food was still outstanding, but the server/hostess was so rude and rushed us to the point that we won’t be back. She was impatient, and got frustrated when I asked if we could order multiple apps to try….She literally said, “we have a full restaurant tonight and you can’t stagger your orders”. The restaurant was not full, btw. She came to our table and rushed us to the point we were uncomfortable. We would have spent much more had I been able to order my apps staggered so I didn’t have a table full of cold food.

Chef was hysterical, definitely a little bit of a goofball. But dang he can make some yummy food. The menu was fun and unique, not your typical American fare. They have specials posted on their Instagram that make your mouth water. We got a filet mignon meatloaf that was filled with chorizo, and a short rib flat bread that was killer and big enough for two. There’s no doubt that we will be returning.

Flavour Kitchen is a cozy, good-vibes spot in downtown Cocoa Beach. The Scallop Paella and Beet Salad we brought home were delicious and had a beautiful presentation. Can't wait to dig into the Dark Chocolate Mousse later on. Kudos to the chef!

Execution and timing is everything when you need to satisfy. If you don’t look carefully you might miss the fact that your dining experience is being coordinated by the singular chef and that is a feat that is so rarely seen or appreciated. The entire staff is professional and hospitality is affirmative. The lighting and musical soundtrack works in the realm of perfection in complete and total ambiance. The cuisine on three separate occasions on my vacation was outstanding and without flaw. The chef has without a doubt created a diamond in the rough which is a far cry from your local coconut shrimp and cheeseburgers in paradise. Five Stars

Chef Jason is brilliant! I got the braised short ribs omelet which was amazing. It comes with potatoes & a small home made vinaigrette salad. The unlimited mimosas are an additional perk. My husband got a lobster & caviar frittata which was absolutely delicious. The ambiance is romantic & urban. A+

I absolutely love this place. My husband and I go here often for date night or with our visiting friends and family when in Cocoa Beach. The chef is beyond outstanding and the food will blow you away. Although there are many of my favorites on the menu, I have had some over the top items off the daily specials. The atmosphere, bartenders and wait staff are great and make you feel like part of the “family”. It’s more than a restaurant, it’s an experience. Definitely my favorite place in the are.

We dined here twice while we were on vacation in Cocoa Beach. James the bartender was great. The music was not that loud on the two days we ate here. We had some greats app the first day and the Paella the second day. The food was tasty. We ordered a desert without part of it since we are gluten free. The chef Jason came out and explained that it would not taste good without the stuff we could not eat and recommend something else. He also sent out some home made ice cream with our desert. All in all a great experience.
