My husband and I went to Kay's for dinner last night. NO STAFF MEMBERS WERE WEARING MASKS!! Kitchen staff wasn't wearing masks as well. I asked our waitress why and she replied that they had all been told it was up to them and that...if we didn't like it we could leave. I replied " that since the staff didn't care about the customers health that we would leave. I think she replied "good riddance." Of course, we left. The restaurant is not very clean and the smell is less than pleasant meaning no good food smells. DO NOT GO TO THIS RESTAURANT!More

I had the Brunswick stew, baked beans, and BBQ chicken. It was delicious. I recommend all to stop in and have some good food. The staff are very friendly.

Very good pulled pork, and the sides were tasty, and huge. Could have shared the dinner! Reasonably priced, and if we lived locally would continue to visit. Waitress was friendly and prompt in all regards.

We waited seven minutes to be seated (hostess MIA) and then it was over 35 minutes since we walked in before our lunch came out (ordered only iced tea and platters). The server was otherwise efficient and friendly. The portion of sliced barbecued meat on...both platters was very small, 3-4 ounces, and over a third of the plate was filled up with two enormous slices of Texas bread. It was clear why the prices were so low. Decent food but we would not return.More

Kay's food is pretty darn good. Breakfast is very tasty. Sliced pork is not fatty. I do recommend that if you are going to get the sliced beef, order it as pink or rare as possible otherwise it will be gray and really dry. If...you like it like that then you're OK. Price is very reasonable. Service is very good.More

I was born and raised in this area so I have eaten at many restaurants in Central Brevard. I drop in, or pick up carry-out, whenever I can for lunch. The hometown atmosphere and quick and friendly service make it an easy go-to when deciding...where to grab a bite to eat. Their menu includes a great variety of foods and even the pickiest of eaters will find something to their liking.More

This used to be our go to spot for a quick but good breakfast or lunch. Unfortunately, it’s probably our last visit. The food is just not as good as we’d come to expect, neither is the service. Hamburgers were dry, barbecue was fatty. Very...disappointed after years of good meals here.More

my wife ordered the country fried steak and it came out drenched in grease and then to top it off our toast had mold on it..Mind you I have been coming here for 30 years and I will never ever go back.. Absolutely terrible and...the manager never came over to apologize or offer anything to make the situation better!!!More

Loved this place! Huge portions, good service, good food! Came here after a long day of travel and ordered the feast for two. It really was like a feast for three or even four. Couldn't eat it all there, so had to take leftovers. Loved...it!More

Went to Kay's for our meeting with almost 20 people and were seated in their private room. We made reservations and they had plenty of staff to take care of us. The food was very good and a good value.I didn't hear anything negative about...our experience from any of our members so im sure we will return in the future. Most everyone had the BBQ but I wanted to try their seafood and was very surprised at the amount of food I got. A very good helping and was very good.More
