First visit - Upon arrival Cafe Margaux offers all the appearance of a unique and enchanting dining experience. Staff was personable and friendly, however, once dinner started our waitress was inattentive. The restaurant was busy and possibly understaffed, and despite her abilities she couldn’t keep...up; slow to refill water glasses, slow to serve drinks, etc. Dinner, for myself, was average. Rack of lamb - ordered medium rare, although large in portion, was presented overdone and was bland, served over average mashed potatoes, a couple of grilled veggies and a disappointing typical ‘brown’ sauce. To Cafe Margaux’s credit my wife had the fresh catch, swordfish, and was completely satisfied with her dinner. Prices were as expected for a restaurant of this setting and caliber. Frankly, I’ve had better for less elsewhere, consequently my 3 star review. I’ll most likely repeat my visit as perhaps I caught them on an ‘off’ night. It is a charming and impeccably clean setting - worth a second chance.More

If I could give this place more than five stars, I would. Out of all my travels and favorite food (from Cali over to New York and tons of spots in between), this hands down takes the top spot. From the soup, to the salad...to the bread and pasta- I can’t rave enough. The courtyard, the service, the scenery, the food- all fantastic. I can’t wait to go back.More

The food and service are the best in Cocoa Village. The staff is adorable and very accommodating for all. The setting is great and love that it is consistent as I haven’t eaten there in 4 years and it still is a fab place to...go.More

Look at the rave reviews for the courtyard and the service, but not too many reviews for the food. The menu features 'aristocratic' offerings ( New Zealand lamb, escargot, scallops, etc. ). The only trouble is I can buy these at Publix. So what sets...a great, or even a good restaurant apart is their food sourcing and preparation. Cafe Margaux fails on both counts. Had the entree salad - the only special feature was the Maytag Blue Cheese. Again, I can buy this myself. Otherwise, it was a spinach/lettuce salad with a glop of dressing. The New Zealand lamb was good, but served with bland garlic mashed potatoes and odd tasting brussel sprouts - again can easily buy these. The sauce was institutional. Ordered the Berkshire pork chop - maybe not available at the local grocery store, but not too tough to find. It tasted OK , but I knew I was in trouble when I was presented with a Laguiole- style knife. The pork chop was tough. Came with colored carrots and salty mashed potatoes over an institutional sauce. The sauces were particularly annoying : institutional and slightly altered by the chef to sound interesting on the menu. They were also served in copious quantities - making it interesting keeping the sauce on the plate while cutting a tough porkchop. The big positive was the waitstaff. They did an excellent job.More

From the initial greeting when our party arrived, and back through the doors upon departure, our Cafe Margaux Experience was in the immortal words sung by Frank Sinatra, "A Number 1 , Top of the List , King Of The Hill." We discovered wonderful things...here, all employees wearing masks, working as a Team to serve, courteous, accommodating, friendly and sometimes throwing in a bit of humor. We ordered a nice bottle of wine, and some cocktails...delivered quickly and mixed well. Our server was wonderful from start to finish, with a great personality and we never felt rushed. Ever.He took just the right amount of time to go over the entire menu which was laid out very thoughtfully. Dinners ranged from Crispy Duck, to Fish Trio and Pork Chops, all presented beautifully, tastefully and prepared just as one might imagine...masterfully! Even the rolls with butter were brought to the table throughout the dinner, one each at a time, never ending until we signaled "please, no more"...they were fresh, warm and so much better than a basket that might have been dumped at the table at another restaurant. When delivered like this...they were important to the meal, and that is a noticeable gesture. All food was so delicious...really, Again taking our time was important as we hadn't seen each other in many months. After we finished, and were able to catch up, we decided on a couple of desserts, These were delivered in timely fashion, and very satisfying. We were able to take home some leftovers, and they were packed up and brought back to our table as we prepared to leave. On the way out, I would say most employees were waiting in a line to say "Thank you for coming in" ...a wonderful touch, and one held the door open as we left. Only the best establishments can do this, their sense of timing was tremendous, their processes worked out to show great Teamwork. Kudos for this beautiful touch! So, it's important to say to the reader, that Cafe Margaux is a Must-Go restaurant experience. I'm sure that if what we encountered, was any indication of what you will...well that is a rare opportunity to have a perfect evening. And by the way, the Cafe is not in New York, as Mr. Sinatra sang about, but in friendly, quaint, Cocoa Village, Florida!More

A serious fine dining experience. Great staff helpful and friendly. Saw manager checking around so they run a tight ship. Food was great and good wine selection. Went for a birthday celebration for wife and she loved it

There are several benchmarks for a really great dining experience. During covid, it's rare for a place to hit every one. Setting? Outside, great spacing, immaculate protocols for ALL the servers. Service? Water glass refilled when half empty. Knowledge? Look, they are all about wine,...but still know their beer. Daily specials? You better not be in a hurry....the explanation will exhaust you. SERIOUSLY......we are foodies, and can enjoy all levels of restaurants for what they offer, but when we roll across a world class place, it is just a joy. Hoping we can get another meal here before we leave (they are closed Sunday and Monday). Be safe.More

Stopped for lunch and had incredible team service with a meal that was exquisite in taste and presentation. Electric plates used for each course. You won’t go wrong choosing this as a meal destination — don’t miss out on trying the delectable desserts.

I have only been there once, on May 30th, 2020 when we were trying to get "out" after the famous quarantine, and it was truly a delightful treat! The owner and staff are all to please their customers and the food and ambiance are great!...Will definitely go back.More

If anyone can handle a multi-course multi-wine dinner in this COVID era, its Café Margaux. The food was spectacular and paired very well with a variety of wonderful wines. Made for a great dinner adventure.

There are 3 street spaces in front of the courtyard. I parked about 1/2 block south and 1/2 block west - there are several parking lots there. Be careful exiting as there are one way streets with blind spots. Traffic moves... More

Looks to be. We were there in December when no one was outside but I don’t see a reason they wouldn’t allow dogs unless it’s a city ordinance
