I have gotten take-out from this place a number of times. Tasty food, friendly girls at the counter all the time and having grown up in NY with good Chinese and having tried a number of places in the Lake/Orange County area, this is one of the better ones. Matter of fact only one place I have had lunch in... More

Glad we have this restaurant in Clermont but have rather mixed feelings about it. On the positive side, the food is decent, well-priced, generous portions, and extremely fast. The place is always busy, which is usually a good sign. On the negative side, the food is rather bland. I always order the spicier dishes and ask them to make them... More

Being a former New Yorker, I am used to have great Chinese food no matter what neighborhood I was in. NY Chinese is a great find (and not just because it has NY in it's name), but the because the food always tastes great. Is there a wow factor, no. Is there a fill my tummy and I feel happy... More

I had the house special chow fun and the noodles were NOT the chow fun noodles that I've gotten in any other Chinese restaurant - they were more like egg noodles! AND there wasn't much meat! I did have the hot and sour soup which was average. I doubt if I will go back.

For Chinese take-out to be less than average, it really needs to be bad. To be very good or excellent, it needs to well above average. NY Chines was neither but did satisfy our craving for some Chinese food at home. It was our first time trying this restaurant and we ordered two combination dinners: cashew chicken and Szechuan chicken.... More

We went here based on reviews. The egg rolls were stale! The house fried rice was okay. There was plenty of food- have had better elsewhere in clermont. The gum chewing girl taking the order was kind of off putting, I ordered schezuan ( sp). And it was nothing to knock your socks off. We won't be going back

Every time I place an order, they say, " 10 minutes" and they never disappoint. The prices are cheap and the portions are large enough for leftovers the next day. I keep going back for more!
