The Lamb was tender & spicy with a bit of grease. The madras chicken was very tasty. The spinach chicken was wonderful. The potato & onion nan was OK. The Saturday date evening meal was a Sucess and we cannot wait to bring our large family to the buffet at weekend lunch. The server was great and prices reasonable. The please could be a tad cleaner but we were there when they opened for dinner.

Have been to this restaurant a few times as always good however this time was disappointing .The waiter forgot to bring our drinks, the rice was cold and the potatoes so hard they were inedible. The restaurant was empty but still waited a long time .Altogether very disappointing.

Server was pleasant and prompt. Food was excellent quality, we ordered our entrees Indian Style” and they had a very nice kick to them. The portion sizes were reasonable and the house wine quite pleasant at only $4.99 per glass. The atmosphere with low light and unobtrusive Indian music made this a very pleasant experience! Would definitely stop here again!

Went there thinking the large sign "Lunch Buffet" reflected just that. I can understand weekends but this was a weekday. Chicken Tikka Masala $18, a simple Naan $6 so over $60 for a simple lunch with no alcohol. Not worth it. Food quality ok but nothing more.

I've been frequenting this spot for a year. Everything I've tried has been good. But today the food absolutely Wowed me. The food was so delicious, flavorful and wonderfully displayed. The sweet waitress said the restaurant chef is new (from India) and all the regular customers are raving. The food taste like love, meditation and prayer on a plate to me. I mean you can tell the chef LOVES his craft. One of the things I always liked about this spot is that it's cozy, quiet, you don't have to dress fancy to go there and there's always seating available (as a lot of customers order delivery). But with this new chef...I suspect this business is going to explode. The waitress is always pleasant and smiling. The previous background music here was nondescript in the past. But today the Indian music is upbeat and the energy is lifted in here. So if you've been here before, revisit this spot with its wonderful 2023 changes! Things are constantly improving here. If you're considering coming for the 1st time, my fiance and I love love love the cheese appetizer, vandoloo (if you like it spicy) and tikke masala dishes. In the past, this was a place where you could get a good meal, nice service and no long waits. But in 2023, expect a delicious meal, fine service and growing crowds. Come soon. This is not a sponsored review.

It’s a very clean, well run restaurant with good wait staff. She took her time in helping us choose the right dishes because it was our first time there and we were. Unfamiliar with Indian food. We had samosas, garlic naan bread …mango lamb curry, tandoori chicken. Our friends had coconut chicken curry and birianyi rice . Curry dishes can be mild, medium or hot. We will definitely go back more than once 😋.

Drove up for a takeaway after googling Indian Restaurants near me. Wish I’d stayed to eat in as the place was lovely but unfortunately the rest of the party stayed home to prepare the table. The food was excellent and the portions were generous. If I have to single out a dish it’s the Bombay Aloo. Perfectly spiced and freshly made, I could tell. Staff were nice too. Will definitely return to this little gem.

I've enjoyed the food in the past, even though prices are high. Today, a small roach crawled down the seat while we were eating.
I won't be returning.

They need to update their social media to indicate they are not open for dine in, or if they are open at all. Even a hand written sign on the door would be helpful.

So Saffron is in a kind of strange spot, the Cagan Crossing. Seems like a developer had a grand idea to build a town center shopping/entertainment complex but forgot that they needed apartments as part of it. We actually were trying to go to Sarah's Greek Food but it was closed, with the open sign on, go figure. saffron is across the square and so we decided to try it. We are from Plano Texas and have a lot of options for east Asian food there but I must say I was pleasantly surprised with Saffron. Only one other threesome dining last night so not crowded. The waiter was very nice and brought drinks quickly, we just had water. We ordered the Chicken Coconut curry and the Mediterranean Delight; a combination of shish taouk, prawns & grapes leaves.Served on a bed of rice and fresh vegetables. Also an order of garlic Nann. It was all delicious. We would have had plenty of food with just the coconut curry but managed to eat everything since it was sooo good. My 2 cents is they cook to order so it may take a little longer than at other places but it was worth it. I would definitely return when back in town.

Ordered delivery that would take an hour. 2 and a half hours later the food came. We called easily 20 times, they picked up twice. Said they were busy. Do yourself a favor and skip this place.

I went for the lunch buffet a few times, and it was a little pricey for a working lunch (maybe not for vactaioners), compared to other indian buffets I have seen. But their challenge is that they really don't do the volume. So they recently cut down lunch buffets and are only doing it on Friday's now, not the rest of the week.
The food is pretty good, but I think their challenge is lack of volume. If they had more people, they wouldn't have to take shortcuts, like microwaving gulab jamen to warm it.
My wife enjoys the chana masala, and I've tried a few Lamb dishes which were nice. Pretty standard serving sizes for indian food (chafing bowls to share and rice on the side).
But it seems that due to lack of business, they keep cutting back, rather than finding ways to entice more people. They've cut down free bread with lunch, they've stopped serving papadum. And this is really a shame, since while I usually hate papadum, as I don't like lentils, theirs is made with chick peas, and is excellent.
It's just tough to get out of an indian restaurant reasonably cheaply. Once you add samosa, bread, raita, etc, you're finding yourself spending $50 for two pretty easily. But as a splurge, the food here is pretty good, and definitely a good choice when the area is flush with tourists and everyplace is crowded.

The food was good. I had a tandoori appetizer of fish, chicken, lamb, and beef with bread. My friends had lentils and chicken curry. I really liked my food.
The service was a little slow. It was the waitress’s first day and she was really trying. She was also very sweet. Hopefully she’ll work out.

We went for lunch today to try out their buffet. While it wasn’t a large buffet it was excellent. My partner is vegetarian and there was plenty there for him to eat. The price was reasonable, and the service was excellent. We also ordered salt lassies and they were excellent. Some of the best salt lassies we’ve ever had. We will definitely eat there again most likely for dinner.
