Cesare's at the Beach is a popular place. I would advise making your reservation days before if you want a good table. We had a short drive from our motel, and we're seated promptly. There were a couple of large groups, which took up a...good % of the restaurant. We started with the Bruschetta, which was looking loaded and delicious The bread was crunchy and we had oil for dipping. I ordered the Veal Saltinbocca and my wife the Veal Frank Sinatra (scallops and shrimp). Both were delicious. The Saltinbocca sauce did drown the Veal a bit, but more is better than less. For dessert my wife had the cannoli, which was quite large with lots of ricotta, and I could not resist my favorite dessert, Chocolate Mousse, which was light and fluffy exactly like I prefer. Nico, our waiter, was exceptional. It was very nice to feel pampered after COVID. It was a great way to celebrate my 58th birthday. Thanks, Cesare's!!More

Phillip was our waiter. Never checked on us. Last half of meal I had nothing to drink with my meal. Ordered a salad with my meal and never received it. They appear to love their regulars but not the visitors to Clearwater. Would not recommend....Spent $163 dollars to have nothing to drink or a salad I ordered??More

This is some of the best Italian food I have every had. They have gluten free pasta which tastes amazing! Their vodka sauce is to die for. And the service was out of this world. I would definitely stop by if you’re in Clearwater

Had a good family dinner on vacation there a few years back and took my daughter there on this trip. Upscale Italian with excellent service. Had salmon, shrimp and scallops in scampi sauce with linguini in pink sauce on the side. Calamari and caprese to...start. Almost all excellent; scallops were a bit sour and tomatoes hard. But overall, very good and a welcome departure from the pib fare all over the place. Disappointed in the lack of covid precautions, though. Crowded indoors and no one wearing masks.More

We visited from New York this past week and our dinner was so good we rearranged our dinner schedule to make it back for a second time during our stay! The 6 of us were so happy with the food. Being from New York I...think our standards are pretty high when it comes to food especially Italian food as we have some really good restaurants at home. But this place really is a hidden gem. The pasta , Pink sauce , and Alfredo sauce were all excellent. I personally had chicken parm and it was perfect in every way. I love dessert so I sampled a few The brûlée , tiramisu, and cannoli were note worthy desserts. BUT what MADE it even better was our waiter James. From beginning to end on both occasions we could not have asked for better service. He truly went above and beyond to make our experience enjoyable. It was busy both nights and he ran ran ran and we waited for absolutely nothing. We talked about how great he was throughout our entire vacation as he left such an impact on my entire family. So personable, hard working, and always pleasant. With every ask ... he made it happen! I can only hope that management realizes how lucky they are to have him and how much he adds to their business. We can’t wait to come back next May & we will for sure be looking for James 😊More

My husband's friends took us here and I am sooo glad they did. I'm a vegetarian so I've eaten a lot of pasta in my life. I can honestly say they served me the BEST mushroom pasta I've ever had. Luscious hand-made wide noodles in...a rich, flavorful sauce with tons of mushrooms. I only wish I could have stayed another night to try their vodka sauce pasta. Might be a bit pricey but it is worth every penny. The pasta is hand made, they will tailor the dish to your liking and the staff is terrific. I was in a group of 6 ( 5 meat-eaters & 1 vegetarian) and everyone LOVED their meal. The couple at the table next to us were raving about their lasagna and they were trying to stop eating but they couldn't because it WAS SO GOOD. The portions are large so expect doggie bags. Within walking distance of several hotels but they do have parking on site. Suggest reservations. Can't wait to go back!More

Our concierge recommended Caesars on the Beach as being the best restaurant in Clearwater Beach. We were disappointed for several reasons. The restaurant may be in the town of Clearwater Beach but the outdoor tables face the parking lot, not the beach. Tables were formica...with place mats and the napkins were paper. The only Pinot Grigio offered by the glass was from California and was dreadful; ditto with the California “Chianti.” Dress was mostly shorts, T-shirts and flip-flops-perfect for the beach but not a fine dining restaurant. On the other hand, service was good as was the food although the prices were quite high.More

We were concerned when we realized it was in a strip mall. However when inside it is apparent it's nicely decorated, clean and inviting. Both dinners were exceptional and portions were generous. Not sure why they only sell Wine by the bottle, not glass. Service...was exceptional, food also exceptional, Now a must stop when we're in Clearwater Beach.More
