My wife picked a new place for our Father's Day dinner. We're thankful she made this choice.
The food was fresh and popping with flavor. The hot brown was authentic and did Kentucky proud. The island salad was delicious. The fruit worked well in it...and the coconut rum dressing blended it together. The cheese fries were spot on. The service provided from Taylor was outstanding. I can't think of one single complaint.
Great job. I recommend this highly and we will be back to check out more of the menu.More
We stopped in For dinner with friends from out of town. We had been here before and were delighted by Luck to have Amanda as our server again. She remembered our drink order and gave us time to sit and chat with our guests without...hovering or having us wait too long for something. She has great menu knowledge and had some great suggestions for appetizers, we had the nachos and pretzels and were not disappointed. She was prompt in refills and asked if we needed things before we needed it. She was very personable and had a great smile the whole time. Next time we will be sure to ask for her, but if you stop at Okeefes, ask for Amanda, stellar service and great attitude!More
We went there after pier 60. The place was packed . It was extremely loud. We called ahead for reservations and was seated very quickly. They had to wipe the table down before seating , they didn’t do a very good job. They was sticky...substance all over the table.
I ordered the calamari with a bowl of onion soup. My wife ordered the Ruben fritters with a bowl of onion soup . It was ok .More
Visited this restaurant many times in the past 30 years. The food, as always, is delicious and tastes just as it always has. It was hot and the portions are just right. The soup of the day was outstanding. Unfortunately what has changed is the...service. Incredibly slow. Some waitresses were walking around doing nothing. One even stopped by to tell us that our waitress was slammed. Then we were told the bartender was backed up. This was in the middle of the afternoon and O’Keefe’s was not busy. Like we have done many times over the years, we stopped in for a quick bite and a drink. I can’t even imagine how long we would have waited it they had been busy. Our waitress offered no explanation nor apology for the delay. We saw one couple arrive after us that had their drinks and food order delivered while we waited patiently. It will be a while before we return. As good as the food is, it doesn’t make up for sure poor service. Would asked a manager, but didn’t see one.More

John, we apologize for your experience. Could you please email us directly at Danielle.email@example.com
So we can discuss this further? We would like to know what day and time you where there and who your server was so we can correct the issue. Thank you.
Normally I would give a terrible rating, but I still gave it the Very Good rating as I hope our food last night and the poor service was a fluke.
Last night, we dined there with our best friend.
It as very busy and maybe...they were understaffed.
My husband's chicken wings were good.
My southwest chicken wrap (ordered without onions) that came with onions was ok, but I had to dismember the sandwich and scrape out the onions. It did taste ok, but I was annoyed. Our friend ordered lamb sliders. They were inedible. They were hockey pucks (smaller) but overcooked and hard.
Our waitress was absent most of the meal but did come by to give us our check.
In defense of O'Keefe's, they were busy .....but we should have been able to have sent our friend's meal back.
We offered it up as an off night....bill was paid and tip was left.
On the way. out we did search out someone of managerial level to speak with, but the hostess said there was no manager on duty.
Will go back, but last night was annoying.
As an addendum....the owner of the place has 2 beautiful labs. They stay in a very nice area behind the restaurant and are very friendly. I always love seeing the dogs.More
