Amazing dinner!!

We had an outstanding dinner. Luis did such a great job taking care of us. Highly recommend the paella- wow, it was delicious. Sangrias were amazing too! Plus the fresh bread! Can’t wait to go back. Highly recommend

Amazing

Last evening was wonderful, call for reservations an hour ahead. Place had a nice amount of guests inside as well as outside. Food consistent, waiters very pleasant, food very ample. Love that 1905 Salad.

CHRISTMAS NIGHT DINNER AT COLUMBIA SAND KEY

We have always loved all the Columbia Restaurants we have dined at, mostly St. Armands Circle in Sarasota. We were so disappointed with our Christmas night dinner. Our sangria came and it was bitter and flat. I had the white and my sister had the...red. Both were undrinkable. We have never had sangria that didn't have any trace of fruit. Next came our scallops appetizer that tasted like a salt shaker had been spilled on them. My sister had ordered this as her main entree and she is not a complainer so she didn't want to complain in front of her grandson. So now she has a bitter drink and way over salted scallops that she had to leave. The grandson ordered macaroni and cheese and when it came out, it was in a bowl and consisted of two tablespoons of Kraft Mac & Cheese. St. Armands makes their own with white cheddar. He had it eaten in 1 minute since it was so small and when he asked for more, they charged us for another entire dinner and it took them 30 minutes to bring it. By then, he wasn't even hungry anymore. I then ordered flan for all of us to have a nice dessert and was informed by the waiter they were out of it. This was our wonderful Christmas dinner we looked so forward to. What a disappointment. Never had this experience at St. Armands Circle.More

Superb Food & Experience

We took a recommendation from a local chef and tried Columbia Rest which is only 1.5 miles from Clearwater Beach over the bridge. Some of THE Best food we had this week with a Spanish flare. Tapas, bread, fish & beef entrees all wonderful. Full...bar and desserts should be tried also. Bonus is the water (intercostal) views too. We didn’t see many small children-so not if you’re in a hurry. Signature salad is the 1905 - this place is a gem!More

Popular & gorgeous

Only got in (last table) cuz we came at 5:30-ish, they had over 400 reservations tonite. But it's so breathtakingly beautiful inside w/Christmas trees & many lights. Then outside dining looking at a huuuge moon & boats going by, just delightful. Out waitress Chelsea managed...a large area, hurrying always, thanking us for our patience. But the food came out piping hot & delicious. Had Grandma's fave empanadas, & hubby had stuffed grouper w/brown rice & peas, mushrooms & broccoli. If that wasn't tasty enough to slobber over, dessert was white choco bread pudding, very hot & we both loooved it. Free parking, but get there early, it's bustling!More

Wonderful lunch with my husband.

Wonderful lunch with my husband. We always enjoy the Columbia, as we are guaranteed a delicious, consistent meal! When we travel around Florida, we will seek out the Columbia. This was our first time at the Columbia in Clearwater, and it was lovely, and the...only Columbia that I know of on the water. We had an amazing server, Alexandria, and would request her to be our server again. Polite, respectful, and attentive to all of our needs. Even made sure we complimented her to one of the Managers, Tony. We look forward to going back, and especially Alexandria’s service.More

Paella is wonderful

We went to the Columbia Restaurant because we wanted to try their Paella. It was wonderful - shrimp, scallops, chicken in golden colored rice. We did takeout because of COVID, but there were plenty of people going indoors. They offered indoor or outdoor Bayside seating....The staff was friendly. Our order was served hot. Restaurant is right next to the Marriott Sand Key.More

Never Fails!

Any of the Columbia Restaurants never fail to satisfy. The food and service are always consistently outstanding and the ambiance never disappoints! I love the 1905 Salad with Shrimp and the Gazpacho Soup. A pitcher of Cava Sangria is a must! The waterfront views from...here are lovely!More

Dinner with the Mrs’s.

Have eaten at Columbia restaurants in the Bay area since 1971. Sand Key location offers a great water view and of course, tasty food and friendly service. Cuban food warms the soul....
