Had tickets to a show on my birthday in downtown Clearwater and wanted to find a good place for dinner before. Have heard good things about the Columbia so decided to grab an early dinner. Made reservations thru this site and arrived and was seated right away. The waiter assigned started off friendly and attentive, explaining drinks, apps, and menu.... More

Heard it was great. Wasn't feeling great. Ordered the pitcher of mojitos . Very good but would have been better had the weather been warmer. Ordered the veal which was s little buttery for our taste. Flan was great. Didn't think it was as great as hyped. But could have ordered wrong. Great service .

Great view. Great service. The mojitos are spectacular. Spanish Bean soup doesn't sound great, but boy it is! I forget the name of it, but there is a garlic shrimpy appetizer that is amazing.

We stopped in for a world-famous Cuban sandwich, but upon seeing the 1905 salad that was offered, many people in our party chose the salad and half-sandwich. The Cubans were cooked to perfection! The salad was also perfect, with just the right amount of 1905 dressing and strips of wonderful cheese. I chose to take half of my Cuban sandwich... More

When you fly from Asheville, NC to Clearwater, FL, just to eat lunch on your birthday, that restaurant has to be fabulous! My husband, Sister and I went to Columbia to celebrate my 65th birthday in December. A must have is the 1905 salad prepared table side. No disappointments, just excellent service (thanks, Juan) and incredible food. Love this place!

Forget a 5 rating. Columbia is a TEN all the way! It features a beautiful ambiance that also highlights their proud family history. Pretty water views for the romantics. Delicious food coupled with friendly & attentive service. We started our wonderful evening with Margarita Clasicas, then began with the 1905 salad, tried the awesome Tapas Sampler, then after all of... More

Husband and I had lunch at the Clearwater location after a previous dinner at the original location in Tampa. Beautiful locations! If in Tampa, must see the flamenco dancers. If in Clearwater, must sit out on the deck and enjoy waterside dining. I had Cuban sandwich and husband had Pollo Rellano. Both of us enjoyed tremendously. The Cuban bread is... More

In town for the National Football Championship and found this place on Trip Advisor. A lovely restaurant right on the water. Very cubanesque feel to the place. We sat on the porch overlooking the water. Husband had a grouper dish and I had the veal. Both served with "good rice". Oh, and their red sangria hit the spot. To finish... More

Each location is unique and a definite "Must Do" when in town or with friends/family. The sparkling white sangria made at your table - A+. Tapas - must do. Fresh fish - so yummy. Paella is excellent. Service is exactly what I'd expect from The Columbia. Great ob every time.

Waterfront dining at its finest! Family-owned & operated for more than 111 years, Columbia has earned acclaim for its old-world charm & award-winning Spanish/Cuban cuisine & wine list. Join us for century-old family recipes like Paella "a la Valenciana," Filet Mignon "Columbia," & fresh seafood specialties. Sample a fine Spanish wine like Torres, Montecillo or Campillo. Don't miss our world-famous Original 1905(R) Salad, named "One of America's Top 10 Best Salads" by USA Today -- The only restaurant in Florida to be named. Whether you choose a table looking out onto the radiant blue waters of the Intracoastal Waterway from the Mediterranean dining room, or experience the casual atmosphere from our outdoor deck on the water, you can enjoy the cuisine that has consistently been voted Tampa Bay's Favorite. Casual attire is fine, but we don't allow sleeveless shirts on men. We are a sister to the Columbia in Tampa's Ybor City, founded in 1905. Children's menu available. Open 365-days a year, including all holidays.
