Waterfront dining at its finest! Family-owned & operated for more than 111 years, Columbia has earned acclaim for its old-world charm & award-winning Spanish/Cuban cuisine & wine list. Join us for century-old family recipes like Paella "a la Valenciana," Filet Mignon "Columbia," & fresh seafood specialties. Sample a fine Spanish wine like Torres, Montecillo or Campillo. Don't miss our world-famous Original 1905(R) Salad, named "One of America's Top 10 Best Salads" by USA Today -- The only restaurant in Florida to be named. Whether you choose a table looking out onto the radiant blue waters of the Intracoastal Waterway from the Mediterranean dining room, or experience the casual atmosphere from our outdoor deck on the water, you can enjoy the cuisine that has consistently been voted Tampa Bay's Favorite. Casual attire is fine, but we don't allow sleeveless shirts on men. We are a sister to the Columbia in Tampa's Ybor City, founded in 1905. Children's menu available. Hope I have the correct location of the one we visited. Was in a small shopping center with a water view. A friend took us here for lunch. I had a bowl of Cuban black bean soup. Very filling! That was all I needed. Everyone else had Cuban sandwiches. Would happily return.

Eaten here often. The ambiance of the restaurant is excellent with a great water side patio. Food is primarily Cuban and Spanish. Wonderful tapas. Red snapper was excellent. Good wine list.

Based on a friend's recommendation and stellar feedback from previous Tripadvisor reviews, we ended up enjoying a fabulous meal at Columbia on Sand Key. Saturday evening reservations in February led us to a packed parking lot of the strip shopping center where you'll find Columbia. They offer valet service but luckily we were staying just down the street and were... More

My family spent the day in downtown St. Petersburg and then headed out to Clearwater for a nice dinner at Columbia. There was a delightful wine selection. Two of us had a meal of tapas - a variety of offerings with some interesting combinations of herbs. The crab cakes were as good as I have ever had. Flan and churros... More

I ate a late lunch here and was seated outside. I was not waited on for at least ten minutes and apparently not by the waiter in my area. Another waiter noticed that I had been sitting there for some time. Outdoors would be nice if the birds were not such a problem. I don't mind birds, but I don't... More

We come here every time we visit Florida. The 1905 Salad is a must to order! Never been disappointed with any dish - love the Mahi Mahi verdana (but like the old cream sauce they used to put on it- sometimes they know and can add this for you!). Love the Cuban bread !

This is by far my favorite restaurant in the Tampa Bay area! The 1905 salad is always fantastic, the bread is amazing, and the service is superb! Our favorite things are: Paella, Chicken and Yellow Rice, and the appetizers followed by FLAN!!! I really enjoy going to this location because you can watch all of the little optis, sailboats, and...
