Love this place. Fantastic atmosphere, exceptional service and wonderful food. We eat a lot, especially on vacation, and our trip to Columbia really stands out as a great evening. For starters, you can't go wrong with the Spanish Bean Soup or “1905” Salad. Both were fantastic. So flavorful and unique. Be prepared to spend some time reading the menu with... More

My wife and I stayed at the nearby Sheraton Sand Key Resort in April 2016. We tried the Columbia at the recommendation of the hotel concierge. It was great, perfect for us in every way. Good service, interesting selection of entrees, short walk from our hotel. Even though we always try to sample several local eateries when we're traveling, we... More

Food was great. Our waiter was the best. All our dishes were great. I would definitely go again if we come again to this area. I would recommend it to friends.

My family and I enjoyed a delicious seafood dinner at Columbia. All were quite satified with the items except that my corn on the cob was cold. Sent it back and got a steaming hot cob. I would avoid weekends, though. We waited an hour to get sated then waited 45 minutes longer to get served, Servers were quite efficient... More

I have been here numerous times. Love the place. A bit on the pricey side but the food is good and love the Sangria. Love to sit outside when it is not 105 degrees. Always great service

Many times over the past 40 plus years I have lived in West Central Florida, I have had multiple opportunities to eat at the various Colombia restaurants. I always order the 1905 salad because it is unique and cannot be beaten. The chicken and yellow rice as well as the various steak and pork dishes are the best. Try the... More

A very busy restaurant, especially during the high season. The food is okay not truly authentic though. Our server took a very long time to address us but was excellent when he did. We will return if only to entertain friends from out of town. It is unique.

It is so pleasant to dine here and look out over the water of Clearwater Harbor. This place has wonderful Spanish and Cuban food handed down from family recipes since 1905. We have been Clearwater residents since the 1950s and enjoy picking this restaurant for our family celebrations.

All of us ordered the same salad -- tossed at the table. Each of us had our own special requests for leaving out certain ingredients. Patrick did a great job of making our own versions of the 1905 salad. You see from my photo what I wanted that no one else did.

We are locals but rarely go to the Columbia. Our meal was very good. We have never had a bad meal there. I love the 1905 salad and I had it with shrimp. The dressing is delicious and available for purchase @ $4.95. This visit my spouse had the bowl of gazpacho and the shrimp aioli appetizer. The presentation for... More

Waterfront dining at its finest! Family-owned & operated for more than 111 years, Columbia has earned acclaim for its old-world charm & award-winning Spanish/Cuban cuisine & wine list. Join us for century-old family recipes like Paella "a la Valenciana," Filet Mignon "Columbia," & fresh seafood specialties. Sample a fine Spanish wine like Torres, Montecillo or Campillo. Don't miss our world-famous Original 1905(R) Salad, named "One of America's Top 10 Best Salads" by USA Today -- The only restaurant in Florida to be named. Whether you choose a table looking out onto the radiant blue waters of the Intracoastal Waterway from the Mediterranean dining room, or experience the casual atmosphere from our outdoor deck on the water, you can enjoy the cuisine that has consistently been voted Tampa Bay's Favorite. Casual attire is fine, but we don't allow sleeveless shirts on men. We are a sister to the Columbia in Tampa's Ybor City, founded in 1905. Children's menu available. Open 365-days a year, including all holidays.
