My boyfriend and I went here after our 14 hour trip from Columbus and we were very hungry and just tired. We were looking for a very chill place to relax and for boyfriend to have a smoke and place to eat at the same...time. Our Airbnb recommended this place to eat and so we went here once we got unpacked. It was very cool atmosphere when we got there. It was unfortunately raining but we found some seating outside that was under the roofing near the bar that was still outside for smoking. Once we got seated we were greeted and the bartender got us some drinks. We started to look at the menu and we of course asked suggestions which the bartender was super helpful with. I ended up getting crab balls and boyfriend got wings boneless with bbq. I was throughly impressed with my food and my boyfriend was with his. His wings were super hot and soft and easy to bite into. My crab balls were easy to eat and delicious and flavorful! Everything was fantastic from start to end. I was glad this place was suggested and definitely will be back. My boyfriend was glad during dinner he was able to smoke as well which was a plus!More

Went there the other night for some drinks and ordered a Dewers rock and got what tasted like hand sanitizer. Stick with beer out of a bottle that you can recognize. Then its a pretty cool place with lots of sports screens.

Staff did not wear masks. Bartenders did not wear gloves for garnish prep or service. Guests were seated at the bar, while other guests drinks were made. Spaces were tight and not setup for social distancing. A venue that truly cares about their patrons would...put some simple, temporary modifications in place. Will definitely not visit again.More

If you are in Clearwater Beach, everybody would know this bar, where you can have a good time with a friend, have a snack or some hefty meal , their menu is enormous: from beach food to steaks, ribs, pasta, etc, and of course they...have plenty of beverages. That bar won't leave you thirsty. A very spacious layout of the bar and its informal looks create a relaxed ambiance. Brown Boxer is located in a solid, terra-cotta colored building of Pelican Walk Plaza, and it invites you to splurge, to watch TV, to play games, to listen to music, i.e. to unwind and to have a good time. If that doesn't seem to work - just look out of the huge windows that open up the bar to Mandalay Ave - and enjoy the views of a busy, urban part of Clearwater Beach. We had a good time, beer was good too. At that afternoon hour they were not packed with customers, at all, but the service was somewhat slow. The Brown Boxer Pub & Grille is a highly casual place, and it is usually very busy and pretty loud in the evenings.More

Fun place for watching a game and catching up with friends. The food is good. Our service was good. The drinks were ok, but it didn’t really matter after being on the beach.

Today,1/2/2020 we arrived and sat in the outdoor seating area. A waitress walked by and said "I'll be right with you". She disappeared. Another waitress walked by and said.." I'll be right with you, clean your table and get your order"...she disappeared. I'm not kidding...you...another waitress walked by and said basically the same thing. After about 10 minutes we got up and went to the main bar. We sat down and the bar tender greeted us, but his attitude and demeanor caused both my wife and I to take pause.I asked about the happy hour and he pointed to a poster on the wall and said happy hour is right there...it listed a few beers and the hours. I asked about other drink specials and he rattled off some well and wine drinks. I asked if there were any food or appetizer specials and he quickly rattled off the specials. I asked him to repeat it and he basically threw a happy hour menu in front of me. We were done dealing with him. When it was apparent that we were not going to order he promptly took the happy hour menu away, when in fact, he should have been setting them out and encouraging patrons to enjoy the happy hour menu. There are plenty of beach restaurants around this area. I would not recommend this place.More

We chose this place to watch the AFC championship game. A great sport bar with plenty of TVs. We split an order of nachos which was huge and tasty. They make the chips on site. We also split an order of wings - again a...large order and very good. Our server Peanut took very good care of us.More

Spent a lot of New Year's Eve at this location. Great drinks, maybe to great. Bar staff were happy and friendly. Didn't eat at this location. Live band that night that got people dancing. Don't remember the name of the band but they were great.

This was one of the worst experiences my family has had eating out. We have gone there in the past and really liked the food, but it has gone completely downhill. The menu used to have some really great unique options but now has been...reduced to basic pub fare you can get anywhere. The bartender was awesome but our waitress didn’t seem to know what she was doing and the kitchen struggled to get the food out. We asked for the manager and he waited almost 39 minutes to come out. He basically hammered his staff in front of us and did not apologize for our experience. I will NOT be going back.More

Great grouper tacos. It’s kid friendly with menu options for kids. It was also wheelchair accessible.
