Was there last night for diner. Just a little below average restaurant. Let me start with the good things. Open kitchen was nice to see, our server was good, we had crab cake to start and it was one of the best i have tried....Filet with lobster tail after that. Filet was very good, cooked perfectly. The vine was decent. Bad thing is bad decor, lobster tail was tasteless and hostess was wearing flip flops 🤦🏻‍♂️.More

Came here on a date night with my wife. There was a slight hiccup getting service after seating and manager Rocco was quick to go above and beyond to fix it. Living here for past 13 years and was pleasantly surprised to find this place...and offers a great alternative to local mainstays. Usually don’t seek out hotel dining but glad I did with Shor. Menu is simple but offers great variety, the pork belly is off the charts and the lobster mac and cheese can fill up the hungriest of anyone. This place offers nice views of the beach. Nothing beats a sunset while sitting in air conditioning. Parking is free just be sure to get your ticket validated. Date night, family gatherings or just drinks with friends this place won’t disappoint.More

We enjoyed a wonderful post-sunset beach view on the patio. Calamari, salmon and burger were top-notch! Our server Maria knew the local brews and made it fun!

Decided to go out for a nice dinner on the beach. We heard that Shor was clean and doing a good job of following guidelines during Corona, and it was very clean. The food was great and inline for the price. We thought outdoors would...be nice over look the water but only being on the second floor and over looking Gulf Blvd. with all the traffic and annoying loud cars, it is just not that pleasant.More

Took my daughter and her friends (6 of us in total) out for dinner during lacrosse spring break. Food was very good, large portions and very good. Ambiance- sunset views spectacular. Our over all experience was awesome mainly due to our waitress, Maria. She was...intentive, patient, and just plain fun! She made our dining experience wonderful. Off all the places we ate, this was the absolute best and made lasting memories for my daughter, her friends and myself. THANK YOU MARIA! You at the best!More

We have dined here before and were underwhelmed, but it was a windy cold evening and we decided to stay in the hotel. The food was fine. The seafood entrees were great, but small, and my steak was very good. Our server was excellent. He...made sure everything was prepared as ordered, that water glasses were full, and the wine was poured. He was the best part of the evening! The wine list is not large, but it does offer a nice selection at reasonable markups. The tables are widely spaced, but that does not help with background noise. We were a party of five and had a hard time hearing with all of the din that reflects off the hard walls and floor. In nice weather the experience at a table on the terrace would probably be different, but inside, it was just too noisy. In the end we reached the same conclusion as the last time we visited: Overall, it was a poor value. In our opinion, the experience does not justify the price. We were much happier just a few hundred yards down the beach.More

Usually a prefix menu is a great thing. This one not so much. Our waitress flitted around attending anyone drinking. I previewed what I thought was the valentines menu on line only to be met with a different one upon arriving. I have mushroom and...blue cheese allergies so I have to be very careful. The cheese plate arrived. When I asked about the cheese I was unfamiliar with she disappeared to find out if it was blue and never came back to let us know. There was not a single entrée available without mushroom. I asked the waitress if they could leave the truffles off what seemed to be a beautiful risotto dish. She said she would see. We had to track her down just to see if she received an answer. The food was brought out lukewarm. My husband attempted to cut his steak with his butter knife as no steak knife was provided. The risotto was beautiful but with three crustaceans on top and each one not cleaned of its intestinal tract it turned my stomach. No instrument was even provided to open any of them. We again had to track down our waitress. By the time we received the steak knife and the cracker for my seafood both of our meals were cold and inedible. She sent the manager over twenty minutes later who nicely offered to take a portion of the bill off. $120 lighter my husband had to stop for me on the way home for us to get dinner. While they may have the best Lobster Macaroni and cheese I have ever had I will NEVER go there again for a holiday prix fix menu. They can keep their specialty holiday menus.More

I had a terrible dining experience this evening at Shor. The outdoor seating at sunset was the only good thing about it. I ordered the barramundi fish. It was tepid, and had an unpleasant taste. Couldn’t tell if that was due to the fish or...the lemon caper sauce it came with. The accompaniment was an unremarkable lump of orange-colored mashed potatoes. Ordered the gluten-free chocolate cake that tasted okay until I encountered a long strand of hair in it. Did I mention that the service was poor? The latter enough so that the waiter even apologized for the service not being better. I have never given a negative review of ANY hotel or restaurant on TripAdvisor before. So this dining experience had to be pretty bad for me to have been motivated to write this!More

The cream of crab soup was fabulous, so much lump crabmeat. Our server Maryann was so friendly, felt like family.

The waiting staff were OK, the food was OK and the prices were a little to steep for the service and quality of food you receive. I would not go out of my way to eat here again. There are plenty of other options nearby...that would be a better experience without them having to even tryMore

It's a really nice beach resort restaurant, so casual might be a little under dressed in my opinion. I'd say nice polo shirt and khakis or summer dress. No bathing suits or flip flops.
