On the outer fringe of downtown Clearwater, Florida is hidden gem of Mexican restaurants. The Hacienda Corralego is wonderful little restaurant which serves authentic Mexican food at very reasonable prices. My wife and I had strawberry margaritas ($3.99 each on Margarita Tuesdays) and chips and...salsa to start. The salsa was very good. We both had the lunch portions, my wife the shredded beef chimichanga and I the steak fajitas. Both came out sizzling hot with all the sides you could ever want. Both entrees were very well prepared and delicious. For dessert we had the Fried Ice Cream and that was just fantastic. The service was extremely attentive and friendly like you were home. All this with 21% tip was $46. Don’t miss it, you will not regret it.More

I visited this restaurant with my sister and we both loved it. I had the arroz con pollo and it was delicious. The chicken was grilled to perfection and the dish was so flavorful. My sister had the Chimichanga Roja and she said it was...amazing. Portions were large and, sadly, we were traveling so we couldn't take them with us. The service was excellent. The server was friendly and attentive. We highly recommend this restaurant. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻More

This restaurant was great in appearance and service. My wife and I felt that the flavor of the food was superior to other like restaurants. It was rated highly by others, and we were not disappointed.

I always recommend this place to everyone until now…, we placed an order for Mother's Day. We ordered well in advance. They said 15 minutes... 2 hours later they said oh we haven't started that order. We asked for them to make it. They said...they would. 20 more minutes, they said oh sorry it will take a real long time you might want to cancel. They waited hours and failed to make the order!!! The girl in the Front is a total moron! We will never recommend or return to this place!!! I will tell everyone to stay clear!!! You've lost one of your regulars... actually, 3 households of regulars!!! You can crash & burn like all others before you in that building!!! I should also mention… the manager was alerted & just stood there, smiling & nodding… apparently he is supposed to monitor the Togo orders & he FAILED!!! The manager can’t even do his job… no wonder the rest of the staff don’t do theirs.., just, avoid this place!!! It’s no longer what it once was. Maybe they have new management? They definitely need it to operate… sadly, it was once a great place… I’ve left 5 star reviews, all over for them. I’m in the process of updating all of them!!! AVOID HACIENDA!!!!More

Hacienda never disappoints, snd the prices are absolutely unbelievable for the large amount food you receive. The service, especially from Maria(Ana) was way above and beyond.

We love Hacienda. The food, the service, atmosphere. Their chicken tortilla soup is amazing. A cup of it is almost too much to finish. Love the servers too. We took an 8 month old and 5 year old there. They couldn’t have been more accommodating.

Met up with our friend from MI that’s been remote working here since the beginning of the year. The guacamole looks good as does the elote. Ordered a mandarin Jarrito, 2 margaritas, guacamole fresco, 2 chicken flautas dinners and 3 chicken tacos. $68.42. The flautas...were good, chicken tacos were yummy too. The guacamole is definitely fresco and has good flavor too. The salsa verde has nice heat and flavor to it. The margaritas are good here, second one was garnished with orange slice and a line as well. The salsa trio is decent, the salsa verde is the better of the 3. The house salsa isn’t bad, fresh, quite mild.More

My wife and I went here for dinner. The chips were warm and the salsa was very good. We ordered guacamole to start and it was delicious, and an ample portion. My wife had the chicken and spinach enchiladas which she really enjoyed. I had...the chicken quesadilla which was very good. Our only complaint was that we asked not to get the rice or beans that are served with almost all of their menu items, but they still were on the plate, what a waste of food. I also asked for no sour cream, but I got it anyways.More

Great Mexican food off the beaten tourist path in downtown Clearwater, FL. We loved it from the first time and it is now on our frequent dining list. The food is fresh and authentic. The service is always attentive although it can be a little...slow. We have been here probably 20 times and tried many entrees with each being as good or better than the last. Most definitely our Go To Place for Mexican and there are a few other decent Mexican places in town.More

There is parking right in front of the restaurant and it was pretty easy for us as we came over during the lunch time during the weekend day of Sunday where most people are all about them mimosas and not at all about the tequila!...Other times I do not now if it would be that easy to find parking as I did not see any lots around but I may be wrong. I honestly don't know why this place does not have as much foot traffic, it is pretty nice looking and they have outdoor and indoor sitting they have a full bar and the decor is so very lively and fun! the place has all that is needed to catch attention and turn some heads. As we came in they were pretty quick to find us a cozy booth seat and give us the menu, obviously I used the Yelp app to look up the food, Also they have a cash back promotion, but seem like yelp changed the system, before all you needed to do was to check in the restaurant and pay with your linked card, now it seems like you also need to go to the yelp app and claim the promo. so don't forget to do that. since I just found the out when I did this review I didn't get to enjoy the cash back, and it is a bummer cause this is not the business felt and I chose this place also for the reason of the cash back promo. lets get to the review: WATERMELON MARGARITA- this was not the wisest drink for me. This is a pretty strong and large drink, I am a sweet drinker and this was by no means sweet, I have no idea how they manage to make this drink so strong and not sweet. I could not drink it at all and the waitress didn't even "notice" and tried to make sure I was enjoying the dink, but that is fine, I paid for the dink and did not dink it. I ended up adding a lot of sugar to it to make it drinkable but still was unable to make a dent cause it was a pretty large drink. QUESO- we got a bowl of quest to go with our chips and salsa, I must saY THE QUESO IS AMAZING. this is a must if you come over here! this queso is the best queso I have had in a very long time. I would come back to this restaurant for the queso alone! ENCHILADA OAXACA - I every time I come to Mexican places I always go to their mole if they have it in the house, and here it was no different, I choose this meal cause of the mole. The default for enchiladas here is pollo (chicken) but since I do not like chicken I made sure to request cheese inside my enchilada, so if you are vegetarian make sure to ask what is inside the enchilada. The mole was pretty good, more on the sweet and spicy side but that is one of the characteristics of this sauce so I was ok with it. It was odd to me that it did not come with beans, also I felt like the rice was a bit overcooked and felt very soggy like when you over water rice while cooking it so I didn't even touch the rice, and since there were o beans to try and mask the terrible consistency, I didn't not even eat it. CHURROS - the serving of this dessert was nice and large, I think very conservatively about 4 people can try to dessert and be satisfied with they serving of churro, however in the other hand the dipping sauces were like so scarce it was weird and it did not make sure to me. the chocolate dip had a bit more quantity than the dulce the leche, and I noticed that the reason what cause the chocolate tasted like those cheap super market chocolate ice cream sauces that they probably got from the dollar store so there was no problem giving a bit more, however, dulce de the leche no matter how u look at it is always a bit more expensive, so we actually had a scraping like quantify of that in the little plastic container, I think they can work on the proportions of these dipping sauces and if they do that this dessert will be a lot more enjoyable. Overall the place is pretty nice and the service can be a bit more attentive to the likes and dislikes of the table, but the service was quick and the waitress knew well the menu. The drinks can improve in taste a lot, but the sizes are pretty Nice and the alcohol content is generous. The meals taste good but the sides do need some work as they need to learn how to make rice in a non soggy way. but I can't judge them too too much as I also have a terrible time making rice! the dessert as I said need a bit of work on the dipping sauces serving sizes but besides that they were pretty on point. I would definitely recommend and come back here to try some other menu items, the negatives here are completely ok to overlook and tying something different may resolve the entire issue all together, so if you try coming over feel free to let me know how u liked it.More
