We stumbled upon the Tim Can Cafe by accident. What a nice surprise to find a local place to eat. The atmosphere is cozy and friendly. The service and food were exceptional. Will visit again if we are ever back in the area.

Pleasantly surprised to see scrapple on the menu! Ok, so that gave away that I'm not a Floridian. Cooked to perfection! I also had biscuits and gravy - THE BEST EVER!!! My husband had an 8 or 10 oz ribeye, eggs, hasbrowns, and grits...love love love. This is now our breakfast place!!! Sometimes there is a wait, but trust us... More

Nothing fancy, local place with good food and service. Home style cooking served in large portions. We got there just in time before the crowd arrived and there was allot of folks waiting.

I've lived in Clearwater for 30 years and somehow not managed to eat at the Tin Can Cafe until last week. I only went because I was looking on Trip Advisor for a new breakfast place and I kept seeing the great ratings for it. I'm thrilled I went and intend to go back soon and bring my wife. Their... The kind of place you find in small towns. Lots of local junk on the shelves and a lot of quiet people eating breakfast. The prices are good and the coffee is endless. This was my daughter's suggestion as she lives in Clearwater. We now have a family breakfast meeting spot.

Great local establishment with massive sized breakfast offerings. A downtown Clearwater institution. Old school feel with genuine people behind the counter.

My wife and I stopped here on the way to the airport after a long weekend at the beach. What a great decision! This place is as big as a tin can, with less than 10 tables and a few counter stools. They serve all the regular comfort breakfast favorites, in fairly large portions. We tried the pancakes and French... More

The prices are very reasonable plus you receive nice portion sizes. I have only been here for breakfast. Everyday they have great specials. Its a small restaurant inside but the service is very fast. You receive your food in no time i have never waited along time for food here. Kudos keep doing whatever you are doing.

My husband and I drove 45 minutes to get to the Tin Can. We arrived at 12:40p.m. (there was no Closed sign on the door), as we were about to enter the restaurant (door was open) we were not allowed in. A very rude older woman placed the "closed" sign on the door in front of our faces. Restaurant was... More

Undistinguished cinder block building housing very distinguished breakfast menu. Try the 7 oz. Angus steak and 3 eggs for $4.79. Then try the fantastic pork chops and eggs. This is definitely a locals joint, but it welcoms newcomers.
