We always end up at the Palm Pavilion Grill when in Clearwater Beach. It’s such a relaxing atmosphere with music, drinks and good food. We haven’t come across a better place to watch the sunset while enjoying dinner, drinks and live music. We had Julia...as our server both nights and was so pleasant and knowledgeable about dinner selections.More

So happy to be back at this beautiful place. Free parking in their motel lot, then pick inside or outside for the sunset, both w/beautiful views. Live singing was setting up, started at 5:30. We loved big menu, & told the nice mgr Ben who...dropped by a couple items were far above normal. Much as we loved the chowder & burger, the slaw (pineapple?) that came with it was even better. THEN the dessert of salted caramel cheesecake was so finger lickin good we tried not to lick the plate, lol. We felt that way about the coconut creme pie they used to have, Ben said they weren't able to get it anymore, much to both our regrets. Great service from Makenna, great singers, & cute gift shop next door. Do visit this popular beach place!More

I was really hoping this was going to be a slam dunk but unfortunately it was not. I ordered two blackened grouper tacos and one GRILLED chicken taco, which I clarified was grilled and the waitress assured me it was prior to ordering . The...tacos arrived cold, all three of them . The grilled chicken taco was actually shredded chicken and the grouper tacos were not fresh. The grouper was extremely dry. My mother ordered coconut shrimp with rice and fries . The rice was cold and also did not taste fresh. The highlight of our lunch was the salsa that accompanied our chips. It was extremely disappointing .More

Staying just 50 yards away in their fantastic little hotel, the Palm Pavillion Inn, we ended up here 4 times during our week stay. We love the layout and casual laid back beach atmosphere. Our 1st trip we sat inside for dinner, and I had...an exceptional blackened chicken sandwich with bacon and cheese that was huge, hot and juicy and on a great roll. My wife loved her sea scallops that came with rice and green beans. She had the Rum Runner with blackberry brandy, and I had the $3.25 Landshark draft. Our next visit was for some evening music though they seem to have music all day. Nice to see that they are still keeping prices reasonable with $3.25 Landshark and $3.75 Shocktop pints. It was nice to get some bar seats and listen away. The 3rd trip was a walk off the beach for lunch and some Key Lime Coladas and Island Rum Punch. My wife loved her garden salad with blackened salmon and my beach grouper sandwich was fantastic with a nice Green Goddess dressing on the side. It was nice to sit outside at the sands edge with that beautiful beach view. Our 4th visit for a late dinner had us with 2 variations of chicken. My wife went with the Key West chicken sandwich with bacon and avocado and some pretty good Cole slaw. My blackened chicken sandwich came with bacon and a nice Green Goddess sauce on the side. We sound like broken records when talking about our visits here, but all the food was terrific, service lightening quick and all intertwined with this fantastic location and vibe of the place. If we come back again next year this will most likely be our 1st stop.More

We ate here twice--both lunch and dinner. The food and drinks were good. Service was a little slow during our lunch visit. There was always live music, which is nice but sound level made conversation a little difficult. Prices were reasonable

We ate here only twice during our 4-day stay. On the plus side, there is a good variety in the menu, we liked what we ordered, the location is great (on the beach), and there's porch-like seating that can be closed off when it rains....There's also live music each time we visited. On the downside, the entire establishment has wooden floors and similar walls making for a "hard" surface, acoustically. No matter where we sat, we could hear the din of conversations all over, even when we asked to be seated in a quiet area. I had to raise my voice for my wife to hear me. Quite unpleasant, so we went else where for our meals.More

We enjoyed an afternoon here with live music, beach watching, gator bites, and grouper cheeks. Service was prompt and friendly. Would go back!

Had the best seat in the house for the amazing sunset! Food was exceptional and the service was even better! If you like coconut shrimp, theirs is the best on the island! Highly recommend!

We absolutely loved the Palm Pavilion! We only had 3 nights in Clearwater and spent 2 of them here. We would have probably spent all three here, but didn’t know about it until our second day! This place has amazing service, shout out to our...servers Samantha and Kirsten, they were fantastic! Also gorgeous sunsets, great food, and fun live music! We stayed a few hours both nights enjoying the atmosphere and having fun dancing to the band. Casual and beachy, but also top notch food. The Grouper dinner was delicious! Check their website for the sunset time and get your name on the list at least an hour before, it’s worth it!! My husband and I had a drink at the bar while our kids tossed the football on the beach in front while we waited. Definitely our favorite part of our trip in Clearwater was Palm Pavilion, it’s a must!More

I live in the area and love dive bars and restaurants on the beach. This place, like most, has a great location and view, but the food is NASTY. Staff was nice and attentive. I would highly recommend to go with the sole purpose of...drinking. Food- chips (stale) and guacamole (spicy mix u buy at Publix)/wings (just nasty) and Cuban (soggy and basic) w/ coleslaw (tastes like it was sitting out for too long).More

This is an absolute must for our family when we visit Clearwater. Been visiting for years and always look forward to returning. Eat outdoors on the decking or indoors in an air conditioned dining room. Comprehensive menu and staff happy to advise. Great food, great...service and competitively priced. Always enjoy the live music too. Cannot recommend highly enough.More
