Good and inexpensive Our group had a little of everything - brisket, smoked chicken, buffet (great fried chicken, meatloaf and lasagna as well as a full salad bar) and the daily special chicken salad wrap). For 4 adults and 2 kids was ~$75 very reasonably priced with great service Food was very good for all of us. Highly recommend if in the area. Also recommend the Orange Hill Gator Farm in the area. Make reservations for that about a month in advance

Found this place with good reviews on Trip Advisor. The reviews were right. Good Food.
We had a brisket sandwich and a pulled pork sandwich. I’ve never seen them served the way they do them. The meat comes in a bowl with a buttered bun and your side. Plenty of food, and very tasty! Sweet tea is like grandma used to make!
Servers were helpful and friendly.

Saw the reviews and decided to give it a try while traveling. It’s a family owned local restaurant and it was a nice meal with friendly service. We had a smokehouse sampler and it was good smoked flavor with ribs pulled and chicken. The green beans and slaw were tasty as well. Overall a nice meal and family atmosphere. Banana pudding looked good but we decided no sweets tonight.

We didn't have the BBQ, but ordered shrimp, which was pretty good. Fried pickles also ok. Tasted like the typical frozen food fare. The decor was like a hunting lodge with buck and bear heads on the walls. Interesting that the menu had a dish titled the "Bambi"...and it was chicken with cheese on top...Huh??? Someone doesn't know Bambi was a deer? I would have tried it had it been venison. Ok fare, but didn't go back and it won't be a stop on my next visit to Chipley!

We were traveling through the area, the parking area packed. We thought that’s the place to stop. We enjoyed fried catfish, delicious, and variety of sides. If you like home style cooking, friendly staff and reasonable prices...this is your place.

I have passed this place before, was on the way out of town and was looking for a place with seafood. We decided to stop in. Friendly staff unfortunately we came near the end of their lunch buffet. Too small of an area for a buffet small selection of items. We are considering stopping ing during non buffet timeframe.

Fried catfish filets done to perfection. More than I could eat. Great hushpuppies, good potato salad and baked beans. Wife liked her coleslaw and fried okra (also more than she could finish. When we find ourselves in Chipley at dinnertime, this is where we will eat.

Great food. Wife has the buffet and the country fried steak was great. I had a hamburger steak which was also good. Good portions and great service. This is a good comfort food restaurant. Will definitely return when we are in town.

My Lady Daphny and I B-man routinely eat here 1-2 times a week , sometimes we call ahead & order :since pandemic ;Fish , porkchops , chicken tenders & country fried steak all have been good-great sides to ,has real country cooking taste-(personal favorite is sweetpotato fries) waitresses are always pleasant & nice & attentive the floors are always clean.. I know if you give them a little leadway or make a request for buffet they normally will put that item on buffet ..any *good food has a wait time but I can assure you its well worth the wait (it doesnt take to long though) I honestly was worried when the pandemic struck , & I will do my part as a loyal customer to see this American grassroots local business stays afloat (guy/ladies dont forget to tip your waitresses *something matters) .. We got you Skin N Bubbas hang in there! #AmericaFirst

We needed a quick lunch spot on our drive home from the beach. The food was excellent! We all had the buffet. The baked chicken was juicy, the chicken fried steak crispy and well seasoned, and honey mashed potatoes. Def will go again.

I didn't feel like BBQ but we didn't have much choice if we also wanted to have a beer with dinner. Chipley is in a dry county apparently. The salad bar was very good. The BBQ was very good. Everything was good including the service. I would definitely go back.
