We have eaten here several times and have never been disappointed. The food has always been good and hot, not room temp like so many places anymore. And it's good southern cooking if you don't leave full it's your own fault.

My wife and I continue our trip up and down US 19 eating at the local establishments. We stopped at Bett's because their parking lot is always full of vehicles. We figured if that many cars are there the food must be good. I was wrong. The restaurant is very dated inside (early 60's) and carpet is probably the original.... More

The place should be shut down! The kitchen & bathrooms is disgusting! The waitress cleaned a table, touching dirty dishes, then walked over and put her hands in the lemons while making tea glasses. Never once washing her hands. Theyre too cheap to buy the individual butter & jelly packets. They dip their own into small containers, these are left... More

This place is great! I eat here several times while staying in town. The food is down home cooking, good size portions, and the price is great! Will definitely eat here on my next trip through town!

A 60 year plus old restaurant, located in, what's left of a truck stop. The best word is homey. Southern, fried food, OK, but large amounts. The waitress staff was chatty and pleasant. Cool being in an old truck stop restaurant.

Bett's Big T was recommended for breakfast on our first visit to Chiefland, FL. We go back every time we are in town. The breakfast special is well priced and has the best bacon ever. Great local flavor. Don't let the outside keep you from stopping in for a great breakfast.

Although I have only been for breakfast, I want to come back for lunch, soon. Breakfast is special to me, as I like my eggs not-so-fully cooked, and you get them like you order them at Bett's. The service is great, food is excellent (if you are a grits fan, this is your kinda place), coffee flows endlessly. I am... More

This restaurant is an old establishment from the 40's providing great homemade meals! Locals hang, good location, fast, friendly service, home cooked meals with lots of choices at each meal. As well as, daily specials! Needs a make over desperately!

Every time we go to Chiefland I jut have to get at least one breakfast from Bett's. This is one of those very familiar, friendly, people talking across tables, great Diner food slinging places. Omelets are made like your famous retired Navy uncle was making them, crispy edges, filling spilling out of every corner and huge, sided with a big... More
