The food was very good, but it was very busy and very loud. It took quite a while to get waited on, I guess because it was so crowded.

My husband and I decided to stop and have dinner here as we have before on previous trips to Chiefland. The restaurant was busy but the waitresses seemed to be handling things with ease. We ordered our meals with the salad bar. We had to wait for salad plates then wait some more for silverware. Our salad plates were soaking... More

We have stopped here for years, on our trips to visit family and for an easy dinner while camping at Manatee State Park. The BBQ is very good and the salad bar is a nice option over heavier sides. Last time we stopped my son ordered the wings (he considers himself a wing man) and they were great. I know... More

We happened upon this restaurant while passing through town. I was leery about eating breakfast at a bar b que place. My husband saw a police car in the parking lot and said,"If the cops eat here, it will be good and cheap!" Wow! He was right. Hubby had the breakfast special where he feasted on two eggs, hash browns,... More

We've been debating for years whether to give this place a try as we were apprehensive about everything being BBQ'd. We finally decided to give it a try as we're pretty tired of the same old places in Chiefland. What a good experience! Their salad bar is one of the best we've eaten at and their menu has plenty of... More

Many options to pick from. I ordered the Large Pork BBQ Sandwich on Garlic Toast with a side salad bar option. My wife ordered the 1/4 BBQ chicken. Our waitress was Allysia. She did a very good job taking care of our table. Both were good but the sandwich I was given was a sliced BBQ beef sandwich. I decide... More

It's just smoked BBQ, not bad but definitely not what I thought it was. I'll only recommend if you like putting your own amount of BBQ sauce on your food. Very friendly waiters.

This restaurant was extremely busy, but service was very good. The food was tasty, probably the best baked beans ever!! We only had lunch, it was very reasonably priced, lots of choice and huge portions! The staff were very nice too!

Maybe their BBQ is better, but myself and some friends went for breakfast on our way driving through. Thought it would be a good homestyle restaurant. Instead, it was the saltiest omelet and bacon we had ever had, and when asked if they had butter we were informed "we only have that fake stuff on the table" The breakfast was... More
