Tony's Seafood Restaurant opened in 2005 in Historic downtown Cedar Key, Fl. Daily menu includes fish, shrimp, scallops, cedar key farm raised clams, crab cakes and more. Tony's is a small 54 seat restaurant dedicated to great food and exceptional service. Ground floor dining, accessible to all. Seasonal courtyard seating available. Dining hours limited during off season. Call ahead for information or reservations before long drives.
The clam chowder was excellent. They did not have any cans to sell to take home. We did have the key lime pie and it was excellent. Had great service. Waitress wearing her mask and they do have an outside area.
This is a very small place with one person waiting on tables and seating people. The chowder was good, but the rest of the meal was disappointing. frozen seafood cocktail sauce, warm coleslaw, greasy fish, poor service. Would suggest you order the chowder to go...and enjoy somewhere along the water.More
We stopped in here on our Thanksgiving week get away. In spite of them being short handed, the service and the food were excellent! We thorouhly enjoyed the entire experience and highly recommend It as a place to visit on Cedar Key.
I'm not a soup person. Never order it. Unless I visit here. I've been here no less than 10 times and it never ceases to amaze me. Had a bowl of chowderand a side of hush puppies. I'll be back next year.
recommended by local, "you have to try the clam chowder"!!!! YES YES YES and there is a reason they sell it in quart and gallons to go. We walked up not knowing their hours on Friday night. As we reached the door the waitress was...turning close sign, we literally were opening door. she asked how many and said come on in. What a nice thing to do. we ordered clam chowder and licked the bowl, bought some to go as well. the scallops, shrimp and fish for dinner was wonderful....we would definitely eat there again.More
Both the clam chowder and the blackened fish sandwich were great - the clam strips and the service much less so. We arrived at 1 pm on a weekday and there was just one waitress for both the front and back dining rooms. The clam...chowder was worth the trip alone, but I did feel kinda sorry for the server and was less than impressed by the quick clean off of the table before we sat down. I’d come back again for the chowder but just get it to go.More
Food was just ok. Burger was advertised as best in town and it was just a frozen patty and not really what we were expecting. Salad plate was ok but served on such a small uneven dish that food kept falling off the plate on...to the table and dish would spin around when you tried to mix the salad.More
