We had such a bad experience last time we were at this Smokey Bones, that we decided to give them another chance. BIG mistake! Our bartender was very nice, and we ordered 2 draft beers, as they were on happy hour. After 2 sips, I turned to my husband and said,"Does this taste skunky to you?" He replied, "Sure does!"... Yummy food with average portions. The prices seem to increase with each visit :(. Nice servers. It was empty for lunch on the day we visited. Make sure that you have the $10 coupon from the sentinel.

We have frequented this restaurant for many years and have found it to be consistently good in both menu and production. They offer many choices and varied side dishes. They have a large bar area and a large beer selection. It is one of our favorites! We typically order the pulled pork and brisket combination platter.

This place is a okay place eat and drink. The take out is very fast I would prefer that then really eating in. The place is huge but the staff always seem to be walking past you all the time. I do not think it is well managed the staff is fast and efficient but they all seem to talk... More

We were a party of four with our meals consisting of hickory smoked salmon salad, steak & spinach salad, fire-grilled tenderloin, back ribs, brisket sandwich. We started out with fried pickles appetizer which was descent and it was 1/2 priced bottles of wine night along with 1/2 priced appetizers. The wine was good and reasonably priced, also the pitcher of... More

We have eaten here a couple times lately. The food is ok but the service always tends to be slow, which is irratating. The restaurant has not been that crowded, but it took awhile to order and the food took longer than usual to come out.

This remains a less than great location. The dry rub ribs were very good, although a little too spicy for me, that result all depends upon who's cooking. The fired onion straws, which I usually like very much, were served almost raw and I sent them back and got new ones.

I have been going to Smokey Bones since 2008, (they were initially owned by the Darden family of restaurants), and I am happy to say that the BBQ is always consistently good. Their pulled pork and smoked wings are my all time favorites! Nice, inviting atmosphere, friendly and attentive staff and great happy hour specials! The loaded fries used to... More

We've visited Smokey Bones many times over the years, watching them drift farther away from their core Barbecue menu (I suppose trying to appeal to a wider audience), and obviously trying to maximize their profits by cutting down on food costs through smaller portions and price increases. Too bad. We really like the atmosphere. Sticking to Barbecue my wife and... More

Description
At Smokey Bones, we specialize in three things: good food, good drinks, and good times. We are a bar and fire grill, but not necessarily in that order. We are grill masters who respect the power of the open flame. We like simple, yet flavorful recipes and believe marinating is not to be taken lightly. We know medium-rare isn't the only way to cook a steak, but believe it should be. We believe pork should be slow smoked and pulled often. Slow, as in 11 hours over hickory logs every night, and often, as in every day at every restaurant. We know it's our bartenders who make our drinks great, not the liquor. Although the liquor doesn't hurt. We think beer should be ice cold and consumed regularly. We know our servers bring much more than food to the table. We are big fans of sports, loud music, and surprises. And we believe in laughing often, especially at ourselves
