Our party of four arrived at 6:15 on a Wednesday, anticipating the nightly special- 2 lobster tails and 2 sides for $15. There was a 40 minute wait but we were seated in under 30 minutes. We all ordered the special, which was as good as we had heard. The tails tasted excellent. 3 of us ordered the brusselsprouts with bacon as a side. Really good. Finished by sharing 2 pieces of key lime pie. Really fast service. Great value for the price. Would recommend to anyone.

The service was excellent and the food was too. We were seated immediately outside per our request. It was a beautiful day. Drinks were cold and the food arrived hot. I had scallops and a filet. The steak was cooked perfect medium and the scallops were seasoned just right. I choice the brussel sprouts over the broccoli. Our only issue was the flys arrived with the food, part of eating out side. So we just fanned away the flies and enjoyed the food. There are daily specials so, The prices are very reasonable our party of 3 ate for less than $50 but, that did not include drinks.

Don’t let the exterior of the little place fool you, during our stay in Cape Coral we returned several times for lunch/dinner as the food was so good and reasonably priced! I had the swordfish dinner the night night and it was perfect steak cut & delicious! Others at my table had the lobster ravioli, twin lobster tails w/filet & Blackened Grouper all were delicious. Another night we returned & everyone ordered the special which was lobster roll w/ cup of chowder-Yum! Also it was in $15. We later returned for lunch they have an $8.00 lunch menu w/ some really great choice I had Caesar salad & lobster bisque soup $8 & yes those are chunks of real lobster in my picture my husband had the twin lobster tails/corn & coleslaw for $15. The cream chowder is also exceptional. You just can’t beat the great seafood & pricing at this place! Go early & be prepared for a wait it will be well worth it! Hint- there is a little bar upfront outside get a drink and relax.

My husband and I have lived in Punta Gorda and the Fort Myers area for the past 5 years and never been to this restaurant. We’ve gone to The Lobster Lady several times which is wonderful! I was recently on a flight out of Punta Gorda and sat next to a lady from Cape Coral and we started talking about our favorite restaurants and she highly recommended that we try The Twisted Lobster so last night we gave it a try. When we pulled up we were pretty skeptical from the appearance of the outside which definitely looks like a real hole in the wall. We then went inside to find it no better. Dingy and dirty floors and just an overall dumpy feel. We decided to sit at the little oyster bar area and give it a try anyway. I had a house Cabernet and my husband had a couple of beers which were only a little bit colder than room temp. I ordered the blackened grouper with mango salsa and jasmine rice and pineapple slaw. My husband had the beef and reef which was a very tiny lobster tail of about 4-5 bites and an equally tiny piece of meat that was supposed to be filet mignon it also came with a very small scoop of mashed potatoes and some pineapple slaw as well. My fish was not like an grouper that I’ve ever had. Kind of tough and dry. The rice was okay. My husband said that the small lobster tail was tasty but the small and pathetic little piece of meat was bad and had gristle in it as well. The scoop of mashed potatoes was maybe enough for a toddler. We spent $60 and basically left disappointed and still a little hungry and we are definitely not “big” eaters! Many times we split an entree. My husband made a visit to the restroom before we left which he said was pretty nasty as well. Needless to say, this was a big thumbs down for us. We will not return!

My wife and I went to this restaurant while spending a couple of weeks in Cape Coral. We were attracted by the $8 lunch specials. I had blackened shrimp and she had the mahi tacos. The food was nicely seasoned; plenty of flavor without being overpowering. We felt the portions were fair for lunch and the prices can’t be beat. The facility is small, with indoor and outdoor seating. They do not take reservations. We arrived at 1:00 and had a ten minute wait. People were still pouring in at 2:00, though there was no longer a wait. The wait staff was friendly and attentive and was really hustling. The menu is broad and includes some non-seafood items. Along with the eight $8 lunch specials, there are daily specials at reasonable prices. If you are looking for a good value on fresh seafood, aren’t concerned about atmosphere and don’t mind a wait, you will like this place.

Let’s start with the positive. The food was very good; it was obvious from the crowd that started to gather. It was nice to see moderately priced specials, which several of us took advantage of. A small filet, 4 oz, and two nice sized scallops, with sides, for less than $20. Not a huge dish, but that is fine with me. I am not a fan of taking stuff home and reheating since it’s rarely as good the second time around. I’d rather not have to order based upon what reheats well. Not so positive... there were 6 of us, and right out of the gate that complicates things. Looking inside, there are booths for 4 against one wall (with 1 bigger booth), tables for 4 in the middle that could be moved to make a larger table, and high tops against the other wall. They too, could be put together. But in a small, basic, restaurant in strip mall territory, it’s pretty limited for creating a larger seating area. There were a few tables outside, behind some shrubs, street-side, with no view save the building across the side street. Against my wishes, this was ultimately what we got as one couple insisted sitting outside. I sat down on the side closest to the bar and the fans were blowing on high. I asked if they could be turned down and staff said sure, but you’ll want them on high when the food comes because of the flies! OMG, they were certainly right! Immediately, flies came from nowhere, even with the fans on. The food was delicious, but it was hard to enjoy this dinner under the surroundings we were in, hair flying and flies flying! My recommendation is that if you go, don’t take a party larger than 4 and don’t sit outside. I may go back, but I surely won’t do those two things!

We arriived at 6pm on a Tue in March. The wait was to be 30 mins but we were seated outdoors in 20 minutes. We had the soft shell crabs which came out it 10 minutes. The crabs were large and hot. The fries ere hot and not greasy. Both were very good. I got mine free for my birthday. You have to register on their webpage.. We were in and out in an hour which is very good "In Season". The dining room only seats 54 with tables for 2 & 4, only one table for 6.

My wife and I want to twisted lobster today for lunch. She had scallops and they were very good. I have the sea bass it was a very small portion something like 4 ounces and it tasted a little fishy. Seems like for $16 I can give you a little bit more fish. The rest of the meal was OK

I am a 25 year resident of Cape a Wine Consultant and know food at all levels. Have dealt with pretty much all food venues from Marco Island to Boca Grande. In my career I have serviced the restaurant venues in New York my home State, Texas, Louisiana, California, New Jersey and many more I think you get my creditably. As of tonight ordered for take out of a Lobster Roll Cold, ample pcs of lobster there was no flavor at all and the roll was very small nothing like the simple ingredients from LUNCH in Montuk, Long Island or Boston, Ocean City etc , , Ordered the Lobster tail and Shrimp the tail was touted as 4oz that's debatable, shrimp where tasty but why not 6 shrimp. In my opinion if you really no seafood especially lobster, shrimp, haddock, sea bass, hog fish, there quality is in my opinion is below in quality. And now that we have a large seasonal crowd they are compromising there. standard. I was very disappointing to taste there food level decline.

We've been getting take out frequently during the Pandemic. At least once a week. They always have fresh lobsters, nicely sized and always tasty! The rack of ribs are very good, the meat falls off the bones , tender & tasty! The fries are great if eaten there but gets soggy in a carry out box but if placed in a toaster oven it will be crisp again! They ribs are $6.99 for take out on weekends and the whole lobsters are $12.99 on weekends. Excellent Price. Call it in and pick up within 25 mins.

Had the Wednesday lobster special, it was ok, came with one quarter maybe one third of a cob of corn and a tiny ramekin cup size cole slaw. Probably better off buying lobster tail from sams club and making it at home. Started with a bowl of lobster bisque soup which was a total disappointment, did not even have one piece of lobster in it, the waitress said they purée the lobster in the soup (WHY would you do that? People want at least a few chunks of lobster in their lobster bisque, it’s a texture thing, and you can’t even taste lobster thats ground up in a cream and sherry broth). Like I said it was OK.

The Twisted Lobster is a very small non-assuming place with amazingly great seafood at very affordable prices. They have daily specials at very low prices. Lobster Bisque soup, lobster rolls, Grouper, Shrimp, raw bar and ribs are some of their specialties. Get there early to avoid the dinner crowd or you may have to wait over an hour for a table. They have indoor and outdoor dinning

We went here with my in-laws as they are residents of CC. What an awesome place. We sat outside (a lot of traffic noise but not bad). We got a free bowl of the GREATEST clam chowder for downloading their app. The food was pretty good. The service was great. Prices are pretty good too. It is a small restaurant, so to make up for it they send out texts if you join their app for take-out specials. All in all, it is a can't miss place.

We have eaten here every time we visit the area (which is frequent). The lobster ravioli is really good and the coconut shrimp are fantastic as well. Friendly service. Renting a vacation home in Cape Coral? You can have this delivered via the usual delivery sites or you can order takeout if you want to order from their full menu.

Would have been 5 stars because I love the food here! We come often, however, last Friday night we brought another couple with us, and myself and her husband ordered water with lemon to drink with our meals. It tasted like pool water. Please get this fixed, so we can continue to make your restaurant our 1st choice when we dine out!
