This is one of our favorite places for lunch. Pretty good food, pretty good beverages, pretty good service. However, they have gotten rid of their lunch menu, and you are now forced to order dinner for lunch and pay dinner prices. Huge portions with prices...to match. My recommendation is to reinstate the lunch menu, portions and prices. Too many good Mexican restaurants in the area that offer lunch. We'll check before we eat here again!More

I went to Texas in Sept had some of the best Mexican food I mean everything was good. Pappasito's was good every time I went there.Well I was still on my Mexican high so I stopped here for the 2nd time. Visited here tonight for the first time with the wife. Parking was somewhat limited but we found a spot. We were seated right away and inside looks like your traditional Mexican restaurant. Our server (Karina) was extremely courteous and professional. Chips and salsa were brought...right away…..please note that additional chips and salsa are charged at $2 Each. Our food was brought out quickly and was fresh and flavorful. Would visit again and definitely recommend.More

We brought 2 grandkids here for dinner. The service was friendly and efficient. The plates were plentiful with 3 of 4 having takeout boxes.

Stopped in here our last day in Ft. Meyers and wish we found it sooner. Hands down this has to be the best Mexican food we have ever eaten. Chips arrive hot and salsa is flavorful. We sat outside on the deck overlooking the canal....I ordered the enchiladas verdes with chicken and my husband ordered the burrito panzon with chicken and a white sauce. Lots of Mexican restaurants drown your food in cheese and sauce. Not here, the perfect amount of both. Margaritas were strong and hit the spot. Service was friendly and quick.More

Tried Monarcas one more time. So disappointing. Our server seemed to more interested in visiting with her friends (via phone in the small area near the restrooms) than taking care of her diners. We had to ask 3 times for more silverware and chips. A...young man finally accommodated us. Although it was only 1 o'clock, we were given the more expensive dinner menu. We got lunch menus only after asking. What if you don't know enough to,ask? My Quesidilla was cut in half, and very soggy from sitting in the juice from the salad, which, incidentally consisted of lettuce and diced tomatoes. Sour cream was AWOL. Had to ask, and again, the young man pulled through. This used to be one of my favorite places, but this was my last visit after 2 miserable visits in a row. There are too many good restaurants to waste time and money at Monarcas. Sad.More

Service is good. Food presentation was nice, but the food is lacking flavor. Salsa is bland, no spice to it. Ordered queso and it was just boring. Pork tamales didn't have much pork in them. Tacos were flavorless. I am not sure why this restaurant...is lacking flavor, but it does.More
