Carmine Street N.Y. Pizza & Mussels has brought some of that West Village charm and authentic Italian-New York flavor to Southwest Florida. Here at Carmine Street, we are all about thin, crispy, New York-style crust. We achieve it by using a stone-brick oven that fires our pies at searing temperatures, crisply cooking the dough. You can choose traditional toppings, or opt for one of our specialty pies such as Chicken Marsala, Eggplant or Tomato Basil Garlic. In addition to our famous pizzas we are known for our namesake mussels. Enjoy a giant bowl of plump, juicy, beautifully tender mussels swimming in your choice of spicy red sauce or garlicky white accompanied by our homemade focaccia. Our menu has a little something for everyone, from Pasta Fagioli Anthony to Broccoli Rabe with Sausage over penne pasta you will forget that you are in Cape Coral.

Not Bad

This restaurant advertises great mussels and New York style pizza. The food and mussels may be fine but we went for the pizza. By way of example, in New York, at the corner of 31st Street and 8th Avenue there is a pizza joint, Supreme Pizza, with a few tables, offering arguably the best slice in... read more

We have dined here before and love this place. The pizza is very similiar to New York style pizza, which is where I am originally from. The pasta dishes are hearty and full of flavor. Love this place and will definitely be going back.

The night we were here the computer system was down and caused a wait. When the food eventualy came it was not bad at all, I had the Linguini and clam sauce, nice and loaded with clams but a little salty though. My husband ordered chicken parmigan which was delightfull. The drinks were nice and big.

On the night we visited, I think that we were the only diners. I don't think that this bodes well, in this market. We ordered 2 pizzas, and both were excellent.

Stay clear of this place. The service is terrible and it's dark and smelly inside. Don't order the chicken masala. It came out raw from the kitchen and now I'm worried about food poisoning. Completely overpriced!!!

Went to carmine street last night. After standing there (6 people) for around 10 minutes waiting to be seated, a hostess finally shows up and takes us outside. We sit down at 6pm and a few minutes later a man comes and takes our orders. It's pretty simple, we order 2 pizzas and garlic knots. Our drinks come but no... More

We frequent this place often, we'll get great food for several months, then get a few bad meals. The pizza is very good. Our last visit, 3 of 4 of us had a chicken & pasta dish. The chicken was so overcooked or reheated that it was like rubber. The bottle beer was warm. We were so hungry, and the... More

Four senior citizens sat at the bar and ordered beers and two pizzas. Pizza was suppose to be a special for $10, but if you want anything other than cheese and tomato sauce spread on the crust that taste like cardboard, those items were $2.50 a piece extra so with pepperoni and mushrooms the price is $15.This was not mentioned... I last visited this establishment when it was called Stevie Tomatoes. This time I tried their version of the bar-b-que pizza and it was absolutely fabulous. We actually had three different types of pizza and everyone was more than satisfied. The place was clean and the wait staff was honest and friendly.
