It’s clean, friendly, great food (lobster Mac, bang-bang shrimp, fish & chips), generous portions, excellent drinks and great service. Great prices, too. The food was served quickly and hot. You don’t have to dress up, but if you want to, you won’t feel out of...place. A little noisy, but that’s part of the appeal. If we lived here, we’d be regulars!More

This is a nice, small place tucked in the back of the Cape Harbor area. Parking in this area is tough. A lot of tourist traffic. Including me :). The food is pretty good here though. Staff is very friendly and the views of the...harbor are great. I wouldn't hesitate about ordering here. Everyone in my group enjoyed the food. Will be back again next year.More

We stumbled upon this gem while shopping and walking around the area. We ate outside and saw a beautiful sunset. The food was excellent and reasonably priced. Brooke was our server. She was spunky and super friendly.

The food here is way overpriced and not very good. Menu indicated peel and eat shrimp. When I tried to order I was told they had changed to a new shrimp dish which was marinated in lime and seasoned. No such thing. What arrived were...generic shrimp that came from the far east that you could buy at Publix with a dash of flavoring on them. They were tasteless. My wife had ordinary tacos and ten lukewarm fries that cost $18. We will not return.More

I had a taste for Gulf Oysters (and I love their oysters) but they were out so I ordered their spiced shrimp which had terrible seasoning. It's almost like Everglades seasoning you get at Publix! If you want great spiced shrimp, you have to go...to Southport Raw bar in Fort Lauderdale.More

Last Friday my husband and I went to the Oyster Bar. We had frequented it prior to Covid and enjoyed the food and service. It was like a different place this time. We waited until 4:00 which is when their Happy Hour used to begin....We didn't ask any prices. Most bars in CC have a HH. The staff seemed adequate in number, well trained and were not rushed. My husband ordered his usual 1/2lb. peel and eat shrimp, which had been good here before. What he received this time was 8 very overseasoned icy shrimp. The shells were loose enough to fall off and they seemed to be waterlogged. Obviously they had been prepared long before he ordered them. When we asked for our bill we discovered these inferior shrimp had cost $14 and our domestic beers $3.75 each. Guess Happy Hour doesn't happen there on Friday afternoon or any other day. We paid the bill and tipped our server who was fine. When we got home I looked at their website to see about Happy Hour. I found no mention of it, but I found a place where the owner asked patrons to write 5 star reviews on TA. He also said if the reviewer didn't feel a 5 star rating was warranted that he wanted to personally know what they could do to improve the situation before a review was written. With that in mind, I wrote a very detailed e-mail to him personally with a synopsis of our most recent experience. I indicated that I would appreciate a response before I wrote my review in case there was a valid reason for the state of the shrimp and the higher prices. It has been 7 days and I have heard absolutely nothing in response. This is almost more disappointing than the shrimp. Surely sometime in 7 days he could have taken a minute or two to respond if he cared. I guess that was the overall feeling we got on our most recent visit. They just don't care the way they used to. Sad.More

The Oysters Were very Good, but that is where anything good ended. We got there at 11:30am they open at 11.00. My wife ordered the oysters I ordered the clam chowder and a salad. The chowder wasn't ready even though they had been open for...30 minutes. I stayed only because my wife really wanted her oysters. I ordered a salad that sounded really good on the menu. Sadly it it was very disappointing when it came out. There was a whole lot of lettuce and not much of anything else. The menu said it should have radish it did, kind of, 2 of the tiniest pieces of radish I have ever seen. It was supposed to have feta cheese, again just barely. This salad was a disgrace. I think they must have been out of the other salad fixings and added more lettuce. (Like I wouldn't notice) I complained to the "waiter" and absolutely nothing happened. The bill came and of course there was a $6.00 mistake. All in all. Very very poor, all the way around. BTW.....I checked on the chowder on the way out. It still wasn't ready.More

The service and the food were very professional. Highly recommended. The server was sincerely friendly. We have been to the oyster bar frequently before this visit. It was the first restaurant we decided to visit since the pandemic. Highly recommended. We will definitely be back.

Denise a wonderful server , clean and welcoming The burger was out of this world The supposed “lump” crabcakes resembled cat food doused with Old Bay Seasoning. 80% bread crumbs Nicely presented but a joke for anyone who knows fresh crabcakes

Great food and atmosphere. My husband and son went to pick up our order since the grandchildren wanted nothing to do with dining out. They were gone for so long we were getting concerned, but when they arrived they said they lost track of time...eating oysters on the half shell and talking with the locals. Time ran out on this vacation to visit personally, but on top of the list for next time for me. The food was delicious they brought back.More

I suggested Oyster Bar when our first choice restaurant had an hour wait (and we couldn’t wait). We arrived at the tail-end of the peak of the night. We sat outside and Tyler was our server. I can’t say enough great things about the service...he provided us! What an authentic, spirited server! Thank you Tyler! The char-grilled oysters were fantastic, my husband enjoyed his blackened snapper sandwich and us gals enjoyed the bang bang tacos.More
