Always looking for Latin food when on vacation. Being Puertorican I always crave some Spanish food and specially good coffee for breakfast. Nice people, great food and good coffee. Thanks Cafe Vargas for bringing a bit of home to my getaway..

My wife and I had the pleasure of eating breakfast at Cafe Vargas the other day. I had the steak and eggs which was excellent! The Cuban bread at Cafe Con Leche was also fantastic! Alberto the owner of this husband-and-wife restaurant was very personable and I enjoyed his stories. If you like Cuban food, you must visit this place.

I really like this place. It is very small so be prepared to wait for a table. The wait is definitely worth it! The roasted pork is to die for good. In a separate visit, I had the pork chop which was just as good but not as tender. I have not had the Cuban sandwich but judging by the... More

Today I wanted to try out the coffee and the Cuban sandwich. They were both great. We ordered 2 coffees and one sandwich and it was enough to share. We had the spicy Cuban and it was great. The place is small but worth the trip. The people running the place are very welcoming. Tomorrow we leave and I told... More

VERY small restaurant, so call for take-out or go during non-peak hours. Good food. I had the fried pork with yellow rice and black beans. My friend had the Cuban sandwich. All of it was delicious and quickly served. Roberto was very friendly and despite being busy, he sat down and spoke with us as if we were regulars. Great... More

This was my first Cuban food. I got a Cuban sandwich and plantains. It was good. Would recommend this place. We got our order to go. It is very small inside.

We were looking to try something new and stumbled onto Vargas Cafe. The place is small but very festive. We got the Cuban sandwich and pulled pork. The food is amazing and the owners were very friendly. Look for the green lights around the windows. Don't forget to try the coffee.
