Great location, beautiful farm exterior and interior. Somebody has a style for rustic design! Friendly family, with great food. Seasonal lunch or heritage lunch. Great choice of different meats and side dishes, produced on farm or locally. Great atmosphere and lunch. Would reccommend!

Great food, beautiful environment, very kind people. I would recommend it to anyone who would like to escape from the city and experience good quality food. Delicious.

Not only the fact the cuisine at Baron is delicious and authentic, it is also prepared with a joy and sense for the guest. They really know the eaters are curious what the Celtic meals looked like but would like to get those dishes fresh and tasteful, adapted for the contemporary time. Be prepared for ancient food for up-to date gourmets.

This is one of the nicest farms I have ever seen...and I have visited more than a few. Boris is so nice, patient and in tune with all the living creatures on his land. Once I got out of the van, I was greeted by their dog Bon – a beautiful big creature that smiled to me instantly, letting me know that I found something special – his perfect home. The lovely wife of Boris and her marmelades, juices, syrups were next. After great appetizers, we visited all the animals (different types of chicken and pigs, ducks, geese, cows, goats, a horsy...) living in the farm. Just by looking at them, everything is clear to you – they have a perfect life there – they look happy and healthy. We went to the herbal garden as well, disscused about plants and their power, picked a few and made some liquor, schnapps and macerate. The permacultural garden Boris made is the most beautiful I have ever seen, a true inspiration and a big energy source. And then the food...oh, the food. Pure perfection on my plate – taste of nature; the simplicity of good, healthy food. Wonderful! I have to mention his liquors as well, they were on spot, just the way I like it. Oh, yes, and the details! They are thinking about everything: no plastic, all natural sopes, recycled paper (...). True nature lovers. I warmly reccomend it to everyone so if you ever find yourself in Pohorje, you know where to go. :) They have educational children`s days as well, and I am sure that every kid would have a blast here. This was my first visit, but it surly won`t be my last.

We are always thrilled with excellent food, beautifully created ambience, arranged surroundings and above friendly people who create this Pohorje fairytale at the Baron.
All praises to the family! We recommend a visit to the tourist farm!

We stopped here for a lunch before hiking and we were amazed. Ambient is more than beautiful and relaxing, full of wooden sculptures, plants and farm animals. Food and service are superb; all food is home produced and freshly cooked. Service is very lovely.

Pri Baronu is a place you need to visit if you are fan of nature and good and quality food. I am talking about eco agri-tourism in the middle of Pohorje forests and meadows. Not only that the farm offers excellent - organic food, this is only a part of the whole story written by friendly people; the parts of this story are gardens, herbs, animals, great views .... and more and more. It's a paradise for children.
Inform them about your visit in advance. I strongly recommend visiting this wonderful place.

Beautiful nature, best place to visit if you want fresh, organic, lokal food. Also if you are on diet, like gluten free etc. Great experience for children too.

Visiting on this farm is a special experience, excellent food, and especially a lot to experience, see and find new ideas also for home, I WANT TO RECOMMEND, but you must, of course, check in advance whether space is or not or not. Book it.

The real eco-idyll on mount Pohorje! Greatest place to visit if you want to eat fresh, lokal, organic food, made with lots of love and imagination. Lots of diferent animals to see, so it is great place for your children. They can feed and pet cute rabitts, cats, dog, chicken, poni horse, little pig. And very hospitable people! We had a great time!!

We spent realy lovely day at this farm. Its a great pleace for children, they have a lot of different animals and the nature its beautifull.
