Firstly the restaurant is beautiful. It is also spotless. I’d come here for that quality alone.
The food was very tasty, excellent quality and plentiful. Lunch came with a small appetizer and a cup of soup which was excellent. I had pad Thai which was very good. Can’t wait to bring friends. So glad I found it!

Very friendly and efficient staff, food came out piping hot and delicious. Tried pad Thai and pineapple fried rice and vegetable egg rolls, all excellent. Great decor and staff was even wearing costumes.

My daughter and I had a fantastic meal at Jasmine Thai. She ordered a tofu curry, and I had a mango and chicken curry. Both meals were excellent tasting and large portions. The wait staff was very friendly and attentive. Loved the beautiful carved tables and decor. We enjoyed our evening at this restaurant.

We have visted this restaurant before and had good experiences. This visit however was quite disappointing, We lived in Thailand several years ago and found the food today at Jasmine Thai to be far from authentic Thai food. The pad thai was too heavily sauced and overly sweet. The tom yum soup seemed to have been made from a canned broth and tasted little like what we were used to in Thailand. The crab rangoon which we had so much enjoyed at this restaurant prviously was hard to eat this time. My guess is the chef was trying for something gourmet rather than autherntic. Service was good although the one waitress had her hands full. We may try again in the future but were disappointed today.

Nice legit Thai restaurant with lots of take out business leading to their wait staff having to balance both the dine-in clientele and take out crowd.
We ordered Tom Yung and coconut soup. Meh.
For the mains we ordered pad Thai with shrimp along with red curry duck. Both were good.
Nice place. Tad expensive for what you get.

Tried our first meal here today after deciding we wanted Thai food. The place is very clean/decorative plus the staff was extremely courteous and attentive. Moderately to high priced given the small portions served.
We ordered two appetizers. Three entries and one soda, $70 with tip; sampler platter, bang bang tofu, squid masseman curry, spicy wide noodle w/shrimp and spicy pork fried rice. The sampler platter was very good but we were disappointed with the bang bang tofu (bang bang meaning fried tofu with a mayo/ketchup sauce). The spicy wide noodle was great but our fried rice was while tasting good was far too oily, greasy.
May at some point try it again but not anytime soon.

We ordered pad Thai, fried rice and an appetizer sampler consisting of egg rolls, spring rolls, dumplings and crab Rangoon. Worst pad Thai I’ve ever eaten. Literally just a container of noodles, chicken and peanuts in very very mild sauce. Bland. No veggies whatsoever. Fried rice was ok other than the huge wedges of onion in it. I fed the egg rolls to the dogs and the spring rolls were fair. Not at all worth the $40 Spent.

The staff was so cordial and welcoming. My friend had curry tofu with mango that was to die for. I would absolutely go again. Tucked away in a shopping center, so not the most easy place to find. There was a steady stream of locals getting takeout. I've been to Thailand and highly recommend this homey place.

Jasmine Thai has re-opened at their Lumsden Rd. location after an extensive remodel. Although the ALDI Supermarket next door in this plaza location, has taken over part of the previous Jasmine Thai footprint, Jasmine Thai has done a lovely job of decorating their new somewhat smaller space and is back to serving their tasty menu at this location. I met a friend there for dinner on Wednesday evening, Dec.4, 2019. My friend by the way, is Vegan and never has a problem finding things on the menu. I got there a little early and recognized several other regular diners. Since the restaurant has a new feel and layout after the remodel, "the regulars" were debating the pros and cons of various table/booth locations...and there are more booths available after the remodel. I've been meeting a friend for dinner at Jasmine Thai on Causeway a couple of times a month for years. We enjoy the food and the service at this family run restaurant - and, the restaurant, the tables and the restrooms are always spotless.

I have a recent obsession with Tom Khai (Coconut Soup) and Pad Thai. This past Sunday, I was in Brandon and decided to try and different Thai Restaurant. Jasmin Thai Brandon was the closest in the area. When I walked in I noticed a strange odor, almost like a faint scent of gasoline or metal. It was faint but strong enough to where I considered leaving as I thought I might get a ahead from the scent.. I I asked the waitress if she smelled gasoline and she said “no, but it might be something frying in the kitchen”. Against my better judgement, I stayed. I had the coconut soup with chicken and shrimp. The soup looked, smelled, taste good. Service wasn’t bad. I never got a headache.... However, 30 mins or so after leaving, on the ride home to Riverview, I started having bad stomach pain almost as if I had to RUN to the bathroom. It subsided, luckily, until I got home. I spent the next 3 or so hours running to the bathroom! No vomiting, just horrible loose stool (the runs). I’ve eaten this soup multiple times at several local restaurants in Riverview and have never had this issue. Needless to say, I’ll never eat at this restaurant again.

This restaurant provides a relaxing atmosphere with wait staff dressed in traditional attire. I have been there several times with guest and larger groups and have always had an excellent dining experience. The food is excellent especially love the noodle dishes and steamed dumplings. They are currently located in a temporary store but will be returning to their original location when construction to surrounding buildings is complete. Their orinional locating is decorated with beautiful table that have carved scenes under glass.

Jasmine Thai is closed for remodeling at their normal location at 1947 W Lumsden rd in Brandon - But - they're open for business at their sister restaurant, Asiana Bistro, 228 Oakfield Dr. Brandon, Fl during remodel activities. Asiana Bistro is in a little shopping plaza across the street from Brandon Hospital. There is a temporary "Jasmine Thai" sign hanging on the front of the building. Both locations are owned by the same family so both offer the same quality. Asiana Bistro, which is normally only open from 11 am to 3 pm, has extended their business hours and is serving the Jasmine Thai menu during dinner hours. I've been a regular at Jasmine Thai for years, but tonight enjoyed dinner at Asiana BIstro and will definitely be a regular at the Asiana location until the remodel at Jasmine Thai is complete. Bebe, along with other Jasmine Thai personnel are working at Asiana Bistro during the remodel so Jasmine Thai regulars will feel right at home. I had the lovely vegetable soup and Hot Pepper Basil for dinner along with hot Jasmine Tea. Asiana is very clean and though not decorated to the extent of Jasmine Thai, is nicely done with fresh plants and flowers, Thai statues and art. Soft music plays in the background. Both my dining companion and I enjoyed our meals and the experience.
