Beach House Waterfront Restaurant is a world-class location situated directly on the beach with indoor and outdoor dining and sweeping views of the Gulf of Mexico. Dine with your toes in the sand on fresh Florida seafood and a variety of menu items made with just-picked produce from our own farm and fresh from the gulf seafood as well as sustainable seafood from around the world. A full bar and beautiful sunsets make this a must-do spot to visit during your vacation and for locals to visit regularly. Note: As a beach-front restaurant, we follow the same policies as the beach and cannot accommodate pets. However, we do allow service animals. We are unable to accept reservations or take out orders at this time.

Visited with friends and family. A big group of 12 of us. Seated inside straight away. Waitress Hailey was very attentive, gave advice on choices and looked after us all night. Ordered drink and food, then went outside for photos of the sunset, unbelievable setting. Food arrived shortly after. Not one complaint, the food was some of the best I’ve ever had and reasonably priced too. Will 100% be back at some point. Loved it.

Visited The Beach House for a light lunch before walking Bradenton Beach. Our server was enthusiastic if perhaps not the best we have ever had. We ordered coffee, which took quite a while to arrive only to be at best tepid. We informed our server, who took it away to replace it. Two of our party had opted for the catch of the day sandwich, which was on this occasion Triple Tail. When the sandwiches arrived, both the fish and the French fries were cold. We again informed our server, who took the food away to replace it. We eventually got hot replacement sandwiches with fries and hot coffee. The duty manager came over and apologised, he provided the coffee free and halved the cost of the sandwiches. It was an attempt to put things right but the experience was very poor and the bill was still not inexpensive. I am afraid that I would not be inclined to return. This restaurant is under the same ownership as Mar Vista, for which I provided a glowing review, and it is a pity that the standard was not similar.

I came down to Bradenton to check on our house. My Fiancé and I went here for lunch on Wednesday 6/3 and we were absolutely floored by the service from Krista. Giving the fact that we are experiencing pandemic, Krista never missed a beat, thus making our experience one of the best despite the sky opening up and down pouring around us. We enjoyed our experience so much that we ended up coming back a few days later on Saturday 6/6. We were first quoted a two hour wait, I being 7 months pregnant couldn’t wait that long. So my fiancé spoke to the host Irada and she said she will do her best. Well within the next 10 minutes a table became available. This time we sat in Alex section and let me tell you. He was non stop hustling his butt off to accommodate everyone needs and abiding by the restaurant new procedures. I ended up talking to your MOD Artie about what he has seen and experienced in the restaurant industry during this pandemic. He let me know what this restaurant was doing to adhere to all the new guidelines and how smoothly everything seem to have been going. I wanted to speak to him because, I am also in the restaurant industry in Chicago and appreciated the assurance that he provided giving our current situation. We will be coming back to the beach house restaurant every time we come to our home in Bradenton.
P.S. the daily catch was so unbelievably amazing?

We went for dinner and I don’t think we will return. While waiting for almost an hour to be seated, we ordered Pina Coladas and they were the worst we have ever had. One had hardly any rum, the other was strong but they both tasted like rancid coconut cream. They left a slippery feel in the roof of your mouth. Could not drink it. I ordered a tropical salad for dinner with blackened shrimp and the salad was in a very small bowl so I could not add the dressing and mix it. The salad was just a bunch of frisée and at times there were pieces of something that was so hard I could not swallow it. It looked like the greens that are used in platter decorations not to be eaten, There were chunks of oranges with the skin on them in the salad, two pieces of honeydew melon, three strawberry halves (two pieces were overripe and brown), a few grapes, one slice of kiwi, and one piece of cantaloupe. The unripe mango was diced so tiny it was hard to pick it up.
We had an order of shrimp bruschetta as an appetizer and it was amazing. Service was good.

A group of eight recently tried this restaurant after receiving high praise from someone on the beach. The wait time for a Friday night was 90 minutes and we stood outside after being yelled at for attempting to visit the bar. (apparently a wedding party had reserved?) Once seated we could not see the menus due to the table being outside at night, we were told all the candles were in use and we could borrow a flashlight to pass around. Unfortunately they only gave us three menus for our party of eight. Server had no personality and truly appeared mad that we actually wanted a drink and appetizers prior to ordering our main entrée. The food arrived 60 minutes after ordering and was mediocre at best. Are dinner was over $500 not including tip. I could go on; although I think you understand the frustration. In fairness the moonlight setting was quite beautiful outside. The area has too many great restaurants to have dinner at; thus I cannot recommend this based on our experience

It is our aim to provide an overall positive experience of which a large part is providing excellent service, so this issue will be addressed with our service team immediately!
We also apologize for the wait. Our busy period is during sunset, and in addition, have limited seating due to Covid19 safety precautions. This can create a longer wait period than normal. As part of our safety precautions, we also limit the number of people at the bar and instead have cocktail servers to assist with ordering. We will look into this matter and assure that in the future our team both abides by these rules and communicates properly to our guests the reasons for this temporary limitation.

we came here to watch the sunset and then have dinner. They do not take reservations so you need to have someone from your party arrive at least an hour before sunset to get on the list, they give you a pager so you can wander down to the beach or hang out around the bar area. We were given a table outside ( took the full hour) our waitress came right over and took our order, but the food took forever to arrive. The fries were cold and the food was average for the price. The place is very large and feels like you are on a cruise ship. Better to watch sunset on the beach and find another spot to dine.

This was our first time to the Beach House. The other reviews were positive so we went. We ordered the clam chowder, it did take some time to get it and the soup was cold. The waitress took it back, and again, took some time. This time my wife’s was still cold mine was warm enough to eat. They did take the soup off the bill. I had ordered the fish tacos and my wife the crab cake, we ordered at the same time as we ordered the soup. 30 minutes after the soup the two items arrived; I have to say, two larger parties who came after us received their meals before we did. My wife’s crab cake was not that good, she did like the fried green tomatoes, the grits were also lumpy, so her experience was not good. My fish tacos were good, but the overall experience was bad. Many options to eat so we will not be back.

Very disappointing experience for dinner.
Seafood roll was shredded fish, didn’t taste or see any lobster or crab, only a few shrimp. Rolls usually have whole pieces of seafood, this tasted like a lot of bland fish as filler
Blackened fish tacos were dry and the seasoning seemed to be poured over the fish after cooking. Over seasoned and too salty.
Drinks were good, that’s about it. Too cold to sit outside. Many other better options; will not go back here or recommend it

The scenery is to die for. There are options for seating that include tables in the sand. Sunday they serve a driver menu all day ( a bit disappointing because it is a pricey menu) I would have loved a great lunch menu with more creative choices at more reasonable prices. But our server Donald was terrific and made us feel well taken care of. It was my first time but my parents have been before. My father told me off season they have a great happy hour selection with great prices. (didn't ask if it was going on during season and during the week) Today I had the shrimp tostada, mom had a burger, and dad had the fish tacos--all delicious.

Great atmosphere, food and kids meals! We stopped here for lunch after a random stranger we met at the airport recommended it. We ate outside in the sand. The fish tacos and fruit salad with added grilled shrimp were both great, and the shrimp skewer kids meal was a great value! Specialty drinks were also great!

We drove a couple of hours to show our visiting son a Gulf coast beach. I wanted to enjoy a smashing sunset dinner which is exactly what we got! They have a nice wine list and a lovely bar area (indoors and outdoors) to enjoy the fabulous view of the beach. They have a gift shop which wasn't quite the usual selection of FL trinkets! Valet parking was available, which we used. The staff was more than friendly. I asked for recommendations and both the bartender and server offered up the fresh catches of the day as theirs. We dined on Shrimp Scampi, Monkfish (in a white cream sauce with pasta @ $27) and fresh stuffed grouper (with french fries @ $30). They were nicely done and very tasty indeed. The only negative I would offer is that I saw no side salads to choose from and they don't serve baked potatoes (only fries and mashed). They do however, offer steaks (which were touted as excellent) but we did not try. It was a lovely dinner experience and we would definitely return.

The Beach restaurant on Holmes Beach is a big, roomy, friendly place with a commodious bar and both indoor and outdoor seating. Cocktails are good, and the wine selection reasonably-priced. My triple-tail po’ boy was appetizing, and my wife’s Cuban sandwich delicious. The accompanying homemade potato chips were an excellent option. Our server Megan was cheerfully obliging with respect to special requests, and we thoroughly enjoyed splitting the obligatory slice of Key Lime pie (with a touch of cinnamon in the graham crust). Parking can be an issue, but the place is worth waiting for.

This place has tables separated for social distancing and all the workers wear masks. My husband had the shrimp scampi which came in a thick tomato based sauce and 8 shrimp. I had the Wiskey sauce grilled Salmon with grilled asparagus and a rice/quinoa side. The salmon was possibly the best I have ever had. I asked for more sauce to put on the rice and they were accommodating. The flourless chocolate torte with strawberry sauce was the perfect finish. This place comes with a higher priced menu but the food is worth it. You might also get the view of a beautiful sunset over the water.

Three for dinner on 1/10/20. Good reviews on tripadviser.com prompted me to select this restaurant. Waitress was excellent and attentive to our needs. Short wait for food to come from the kitchen. Meal however was sub par. My fried cod was tough; the cole slaw was terrible and the fries were okay. Others in my group had the fish tacos. They were not impressed. The prices of $24 and $18 respectively were excessive considering the quality and quantity of the food. Would not recommend this establishment to others.

Beach restaurant trying to mimic sophistication. Not a single friend shrimp in sight. The wines are expensive and mediocre, the fish dry and stiff as if heated in the microwave. The bread and the service were excellent! But who serves wild boar by a beautiful sandy beach.
