So, we did what we do every Christmas and when out for Chinese food. Made a reservation at Tokyo Peking for 5:15. A bit early but we knew it would be crowded. Seated within 5 minutes, even though there was a mob at the counter. We ordered shrimp with garlic sauce and chicken and broccoli. Food was great, service was excellent, price was fair. Someone even came around asking if everything was OK and if we needed anything. Only thing; you get a choice of white or pork fried rice. I don't eat pork and there is an upcharge if you request "chicken" fried rice instead, which I do not understand. Anyway, happy with the meal and I will be back.

We ordered online around 5 pm Christmas Day. When we arrived at 540, the place was overflowing with people-many unmasked and crowded into a small space so were not going in to pick up. We called several times and could not get through. We waited a total of an hour and finally gave up. We called today to ask for a refund, and Lily the manager offered us 10.00 credit and a free order of ribs. We said yes and drive over 20 minutes later- she came out to the car with the order herself and called later to tell us she gave us a credit. Give them a chance/ just not on a holiday!

In the barren days of sheltering in place for CLOVID19 , I craved Chinese food. I tried all my familiar haunts and they were closed. I remembered the mailer from this nearby Chinese-Japense restaurant that had sushi,Nigiri, sashimi, teriyaki and Chinese . I craved Chinese. I stopped by this storefront in the Village Square shopping center east of the Publix's near the end f the stores. locked. Call in your order and prepay and they will deliver it outside on a clean table. Since I had not tried this place before I ordered one lunch combination special, risking $6.25. I put it on the credit card as I ordered and waited. AS promised the very hot meal arrived swathed in plastic. The inside plastic container heald a large order of Chicken with mixed vegetables, pork fried rice and an icy cold diet coke. The napkin and plastic fork were nice as also the soy sauce and other sauce. But telling was the two fortune cookies. This order was far more than one person would eat so they realized I might be sharing the meal and our good fortunes. I hurried home with my steaming food. The portions were quite ample for any appetitie. For me it was lunch and another dinner. The vegetables were varied and cooked enough No tough carrots. Zuchini and Broccoli still colorful but cooked. Mushrooms emersed in the light sauce on the white chunks of chicken. The prok froed rice had those tiny snips of red edged pork and was hot and tasty especially with the extra soy sauce. My fortune had run well to find a restaurant open with good fresh cooked food in our shut down Boynton Beach community. Every business that makes it work for takeout should be applauded My spirits lifted with this good food from the Tokyo Peking. My friends have heard online. I will return and dig deeper into the menu. Next might be Moo Shu Beef $9.95 per order) or the lunch combination or Happy Family ( $13) , a Cantonese special. I will go back.

I placed an order for pick-up, including their dish S14, which among other things, came with Red Peppers. When we got it home, the dish was full of Green Peppers, which we hate, and came with so many, that it tainted the taste of much of the dish! When I called to advise them of the problem, the woman manager said 1) 'We don't have Red Peppers' (see the picture of the menu below) 2) 'Red peppers, green peppers, what's the difference!' 3) 'Just take out the green peppers' She was screaming these things over and over! This is the same woman whose menu says Dumplings (8) but she only gives 7, and her excuse is...'we changed it'. There food isn't great, but generally isn't bad, but I'm not going to give that moron any more business!!

The owner/waitress has a bad attitude and zero personality. The food was less than mediocre. I asked for white rice , she brought fried (which was dry and inedible). The chicken was tough and grizzled. There are plenty of better Chinese restaurants in Boynton.

I just stopped by to grab a few appetizers on the way home. I am so happy I did. The Food is absolutely delicious, I highly recommend the crab Rangoon. They are so pretty, the way they are folded, it looks like origami. They are mouthwatering. I ate them all before realizing I should have taken a picture. The shrimp and roast pork egg rolls are equally as satisfying. The accompanying dipping sauces are tasty too. You get so much food at an excellent price ! Do your tastebuds a favor and stop by for a meal, you’ll definitely enjoy it !

Bought three meals. Mine was sweet and sour chicken. The so-called chicken was crumbs of meat hidden in a huge pocket of batter.it had no taste. Fresh as water and a cup with some orange jelly looking sauce. I called and the lady kept telling me that’s their sweet and sour chicken. Hell no. That is crumbs of chicken on a pocket. Would never buy again. My home made sweet and sour chicken is the worlds best. That was the WORST sweet and sour chicken I have seen. Very little for your money. That’s why I’m scared to eat out caz you don’t know the crap these people give you to eat for your hard earned money.

Never disappointed eating here, this time I ordered the Moo Shu Pork, it is wonderfully delicious. So much food for an excellent price, it was enough for two people and I still have leftovers today for lunch, yum. I definitely recommend !

Unfortunately to food is absolutely awful. We were not able to eat bone ribs they were all fat. Soup was tasteless and the fried rice greasy and tasteless. I did call the restaurant to let them know the food was not good. The owner could not have cared, and was rude. I suggest any other but Tokyo Peking.

Chinese retaurants come and go in Florida and I hope Tokyo Peking stays around longer than most because it is by far the best Chinese food I have found in my neighborhood since I moved to Delray Beach two years ago. Its $6.25 lunches are the best priced meals and take out is not a problem. My favorite is honey garlic chicken. Along with the entre, diners get a choice of pork fried rice or white rice and a can of soda. What the restaurant lacks in ambiance it makes up with large portions and hot food.

went for Chinese food and found it was really a good place for a family dinner. Food was fresh and hot with really good service and the quality was really outstanding. A great place for any type of Asian foods. A true hidden Gem. a nice place to relax and eat well for not a lot of money. Very clean and lots of parking in front.

Our first 2 visits were during the extreme lockdown. They admitted that most of the meats and fish were frozen. Got it Went back tonight (12/24/21) and it was terrible. Ordered hot and sour soup - bland - and because they didn't have fresh fish, I ordered ribs. Inedible - obviously old

I haven't and will not eat at Tokyo Peking. I've been alerted via employees that the owners keep all the tips from credit cards and the take-out tip jar. I'm not sure if they also keep tips from tables but, regardless, this is awful AND it is against Federal law for restaurant owners & managers to do so!

It appears most of the business here is take out. It was very hectic at the front desk and on a couple of occasions, we heard the employees getting upset. We dined in and ordered Moo Shu Chicken, Crab Rangoon and Sweet and Sour Pork. Although I’m aware of it, it’s the first time I’ve seen Crab Rangoon on the menu as “Imitation Crab Rangoon”. Well, It was definitely imitation. In fact, there was no taste of crab or anything that even resembled a seafood taste. It was more of a scallion flavor. The rest of the order was average. The rangoon and chicken both had a strong burnt flavor. This was our first time here and probably our last. There are plenty of other Chinese restaurants around to try.

First visit. Ordered take out. The spring rolls were crispy and good. The shrimp tempura roll was ok. But will not order sushi from here again. Not sure what was going on with the salmon. It was soft, very spongy, mushy and alot of water came out of it as it was being eaten. We eat a lot of sushi and never encountered anything like this before. We threw it away.
