The food here is terrific with reasonable prices. However, there is a big push to get you in and out. You’ll be lucky to finish your food before your plate will be whisked away and the bill put on your table
After ordering the Dinner for Two it was delivered to us in a sturdy box with clear reheating instructions. The contents were plentiful, allowing for second night dinner ,plus. Aside from quantity, we found each dish to be well prepared and tasty. The price was...very reasonable and we were delighted with the resultsMore
They have prepared meals for two for carry out. They have a special for each night of the week. my wife chose tuesday which is stuffed cabbage. Included a quart of vegetable soup, fair.2 challah dinner rolls, very good. Four stuffed cabbage with sauce, just...ok, 2 baked potatoes, broccoli and dessert of the day which was chocolate babka.
Amazing it is only $24.99More
The food I have eaten here - over a dozen times, was great. Never had an issue here with anything eaten in or taken out. I have dined here dozens of times. And back a few years back also. The service is very hit or...miss. They are over whelmed.More
I have gone to Flakowitz twice during the pandemic. Both times the order was incorrect and the food was not fresh.
The rye bread was stale, I had applesauce which had soured, the babka was also stale. The pastrami was so fatty, that after you...cut it out, there is very little remaining. The food itself was mediocre at best.
Never going back.More
Very disappointing meal at the cost of $40.00 for both my friend and myself. The only thing I thought was good was the chocolate babka. Even the coffee was old and stale. There were only 5 tables with guests, used to be you'd wait on...line to get in. DRASTIC CHANGE IN THIS DELI.More
Very rude customer service. All employees behind counter beyond nasty. How can the owner of this business let them act that way? Business would be 50% better with decent customer service. Food is good but not worth the aggravation. Also. Saw counter person coughing into...food.More
We had a disappointing breakfast meal which saddened my family. This used to be our favorite restaurant for Breakfast or lunch. Haven’t been there in a few years so we were excited to return. Fabulous waiter, but inattentive poorly made meals. Cold, dry, burnt hash brown potatoes, puréed...? Tasteless corn beef hash served like a burger, Greek Omelette with feta in one lump on one side, left four of us wondering what the problem was in the kitchen. Pass onMore
Great place for a Jewish meal, we went with friends for lunch and it was wonderful. Pleasant staff, delicious corn beef and pastrami sandwiches, stuffed cabbage was also very good, coleslaw was tasty as was the potato salad just a great place. There is a...full service deli and bakery inside the restaurant so you can take your favorites home with you. They also make bagels there that are delicious.More
