Came upon Happy Lavash after looking to get a bite to eat in the area that was convienient and quick. Meditteranean food is hard to come by and when I walked in the place was very clean and family run. They were making the lavash bread right in front of us along with dessert to display. The seating area is small and basic. We were greeted by the owner who walked us through the menu and shared some specials with us. Not a fancy place by all means, but the food was fresh and delicious, and most importantly homemade with the care you would expect from a family run business who takes pride in what they do. REAL shawarma was had on a wrap along with a special dipping trio of sauces to go with some extra lavash bread. Also someoneone got a food bowl with the kofte meatballs which was tasty. The meals came with bread, fries, salad, and rice with every order so there was a ton of food for the price and great value. I was so glad to have found it and will be back again as a semi casual option.

Small immaculate casual restaurant with plenty of outdoor seating. My husband and I were both pleased with our grilled chicken happy bowls ,which included fresh lavash bread, shepard salad, hummus, bulgur pilaf or Basmati rice and fries! I substituted additional bulgur for the fries, and the owner and the chef were very nice about that. The portions were large and I took some home. Delicious, different, healthy, filling: all for a good price in a nice atmosphere! What more could you ask? We will return, and then I want to try some of the desserts.

The owner is lovely, warm and welcoming. On our first visit we had a lamb wrap and a chicken wrap. The meat was well seasoned and flavorful. The fries were hot and crisp and lightly seasoned. The food was made to order and was served piping hot. We sat on the patio and the meals were brought outside to our table on the patio. We returned a week later to try the Thursday only lamb and eggplant dish as well as a chicken bowl. The owner remembered us and thanked us for coming back. The chicken bowl was a generous portion of herbed rice, chopped chicken, salad and hummus, accompanied by hot seasoned fries. Highly recommend the smoky tasting eggplant topped with lamb. It was exceptional! We were impressed with the fact that the lavash was hand made, rolled out and baked for each order. We will return, most likely on a Thursday for that exceptional lamb and eggplant special.

Perhaps I ordered the wrong things. Maybe they just don’t pay that much attention to their non-meat menu items. Or, maybe the food just isn’t good here. I ordered a Greek Salad with falafel. I was served a bowl of romaine lettuce along with a couple of slices of overripe and past its prime tomato, a couple of slices of mundane cucumber, a few pieces of green pepper, a teaspoon of canned pizza olives, and a teaspoon of the lowest quality feta crumbles all mixed with a mostly flavorless bottled Greek salad dressing and topped with two grossly overcooked ta’ameyah (falafel balls) with a tiny squirt of tahina atop the ta’ameyah. The salad was accompanied by a small piece of lavash bread that had obviously been in the steamer all day, or longer, so that it practically solidified once the artificial moisture had evaporated. I was truly amazed by their apparent need to so grossly overcook the ta’ameyah. There was nothing left of a light, fluffy falafel. Only a greasy rock! This “meal” along with a can of Coke Zero (they have a fountain drink machine, just no fountain drinks!) set me back almost $24. As an unfortunate aside, the total was about $3 more than the menu said that it would be. When I nonchalantly while inserting my credit card asked about the apparent difference the woman at the register told me that they had to raise prices because, “…everything’s going up.” Yes, that’s true, however you let your customers know that. You don’t just spring surprise price increases upon them. In truth, I cannot find anything good to say about my experience at this restaurant.

The worst turkish food that I ever had. The food portions is ridiculously small, bland in taste and overpriced. One spoon of salad for a bowl; bread charged for humus or babganoush plate; small side tahini for $3.50!? Unfortunately the owner is also not receptive for feedback.

Oh My Gosh…Happy Lavash is delicious! My husband and I visited here for lunch and we met Aylin the owner. What a sweetheart! I watched as she handmade the Lavash for us to eat with our hummus. Where can you go and actually see your food being prepared right in front of you? The inside is small but beautifully decorated and there’s lots of outdoor seating. The hummus was soooo good! I could taste the fresh lemon and the Lavash? YUM! I had the Greek salad with chicken - it was huge and filled with fresh green peppers and cucumbers. I don’t like kalamata olives so I left those off. The dressing, the feta - so fresh! My husband had the Tantooni wrap (lamb/beef) and loved it! So flavorful! And the fries? Got, crispy and worth the calories! We will be back soon! Thanks, Aylin!!!

Don't let this fast casual restaurant fool you. Everything at Happy Lavash is made fresh, tastes delicious and is authentically Turkish. The eggplant salad is made with yogurt and is likely the best eggplant salad you'll have in South Florida. The lamb kebabs will blow you away. Exceptionally clean and welcoming service. This place is a gem!

what a nice place to go for any meal. It is my wifes birthday today and she picked a new place to go. Happy Lavash was her choice. In a mall setting it is such a great place for near east style food. This is the real thing. The owner is from Turkey and has been doing her cooking for such a long time and she does all the cooking. The place when you walk in is a treat. It is just so clean and looks like your in her home. She welcomes you with a great big smile. You place your order at the register. They will bring the food over to your table. Everything is just so good. My wife had one of the bowls and she ate every bit of it and it was a good size portion. My brother in law got the soup and salad and said it was fantastic. I had the three lamb chops with rice and grilled vegies. I could not belierve just how good this was. The chops were fantastic and the grilled vegies. were just outstandiing. The rice was very good. I am a big eater and I had a tough time finishing the meal. We then got Paclava, and this is the way it should be made. Fantastic. Would I recomend this place for food, service, being clean, being friendly, you bet I would and I can not wait to go back. This my friends is a true Hidden Gem.

Incredible! My husband and I were passing thru the Delray area. We were really hungry and just wanted really good, fresh food. We saw some great reviews for Happy Lavash and decided to try. It was such a treasure. The food was outstanding!! Fresh & delicious & infused with love & Mediterranean goodness! Great service & attention to detail & the decor was very well done - brand new & so cute! Wish we lived nearby!

We ordered takeout and the food was delicious. They even have vegan options which was exciting to one person in our group. Everything was flavorful and cooked well. The only disappointment was the garlic sauce (normally one of my favorite Mediterranean sauces) was not my taste here. It was more mayo tasting and less garlic. But the rest was all delicious.

Delicious independent female owned restaurant conveniently located by the interstate. Excellent fresh grilled beef kabobs with rice & grilled vegetables. Very clean restaurant, quick service. Love it here- delightful in a world of tasteless food!

If you are looking for authentic Turkish cuisine, you hqve come to the right place. We had the Turkish breakfast, and it was excellent! Reminded me of my trips to Istanbul. Make sure you try the homemade Baklava and Turkish coffee. as well. You will not be disappointed.

What a great find! After looking at their menu online I decided to give this place a try. We ordered a Meze Sampler which included four sides and two lavash breads. While every Meze was delicious, I was blown away at the babaganoush which was garlicky and full of eggplant chunks - delicious! This sampler was a meal in itself. We also enjoyed wraps - Lamb Kofte and a Combo Meat Wrap which included lamb, chicken and beef - both included rice and veggies and were stuffed to the gills. The yogurt dill sauce that accompanied the wraps was incredible. The flavors were rich and all ingredients fresh. We dined inside - we placed our order at the counter and our food was then brought to our table. Staff was exceptionally friendly. The restaurant was bright, clean and inviting. Prices are reasonable especially considering the large portions. We’ll definitely be back!
