Since the COVID we only get take out from here. The corned beef and pastrami are great. FYI the name is now JAX. On Saturday night when we get takeout the tables outside are packed with people waiting. Saw no masks on people outside which...is why we only get takeout until the Covid-19 is over.More

I had take out chicken salad here with cranberries this summer. It was absolutely the best. So, in Oct I had lunch here with 2 friends, sitting outside, & found out they took it off the menu. It took about 30 mins after we were...seated outside to even get a menu. We ordered about 10 mins later & waited almost 60 mins before we received our food, I ordered their chicken salad (w/o cranberries) & was not only disappointed with the flavor but with the size of the bread. It appears the chef used the end of the rye bread loaf, last 2 slices, & I've never seen such a small sandwich. I do understand they are changing their menu so I certainly hopes it gets better.More

Our neighbors have been recommending Katzner’s since we moved to Florida, but today thePap Cancer Research group had a fundraiser with 15% of our bill benefiting cancer research. We enjoyed sitting outside under an umbrella, there was a sink with hand sanitizer and towels outside...as well. We quickly got delicious coleslaw and pickles. Bob our waiter was exceptional. The lunch menu was perfect, 12 items for $12. I had a half a pastrami sandwich with fries and matzoh ball soup. This was a lot of food! The matzoh ball soup was exceptional, filled with vegetables, chicken and not too salty. The pastrami was lean, warm, juicy in very fresh warm rye bread. The fries were addictive I should’ve stopped. We will be back!More

This place disregards all COVID-19 regulations, the owner was rude and refused to wear the mask properly. Tables are packed (located less than 1.5 feet away with no signs “out of service” for the middle tables).

We have taken out the lunch special a few times and everything ordered has been very good. You need to be a bit flexible as certain items are not available , but with the current situation we find this to be the case everywhere. In...addition we pick up tuna salad and some other items to make lunch each week and everything we tried to date has been quite good. The owner and staff are very friendly and give you a nice greeting every time . Katzners is definitely on the plus sideMore

Came for dinner last week due to the high ratings it has received. Once we got there we were shocked with the limited menu. The menu on line is NOT the same as the one being used. The food that we ordered was very good...and our server, Cindy, was pleasant and attentive. We came here trying to find REALLY DELICIOUS chopped liver but unfortunately this was one of the items not on the menu. COVID-19 guidelines were strictly enforced and I felt very safe eating there. A word of advice; call and make sure that what you want to order is still on the menu.More

I have been going to Katzner’s for a number of years now and, while the food has always been excellent, Alan and his new chef, Chris, have taken things to a new level. His new menu is fantastic. I’ve had the pan seared salmon, chick...pea meatloaf (that’s right..it’s a chick pea meatloaf and it’s delicious!), carrot and zucchini pappardelle, cauliflower wings, and even the blondie a la mode for dessert. This is east Atlantic Avenue type cuisine, but at far less the cost. Whether you eat in (where everyone is seated safely apart and Alan even keeps a portable hand washing station outside the restaurant) or take out, you will not be sorry, and my guess is that you, too, will become a regular. If you do eat in, be sure to ask for Cindy as your server!More

My companion and I stopped in for dinner on a Wednesday evening before going to a movie, and we were seated promptly. A bowl of Cole Slaw was placed in front of each of us. We both opted for soup and a half sandwich. She...selected the Split Pea soup, and I had the special of the day, Mushroom, Barley. Both were hot and very tasty. Her half sandwich was Chicken Salad with Cranberries and was enjoyed.. I ordered the half sandwich with chopped liver, way too much to try and eat on the bread, so I ate it from the plate. Nicely prepared. A bowl of pickles (regular and half sour ) was put on the table to consume as wanted. This food reminded both us as what we ate while living in the NY City area. Our server, Susan C. was at our call. Only problem is the tables are very close together and carrying on a conversation was difficult without overhearing the customers next to you. We will return for another time.More

Good food and service. Dishes are good sized and they provide pickles on the table. Service is attentive and the atmosphere is fun.

We stopped at Katzners deli-terranean cafe for lunch. I ordered one of the $12.00 Lunch Specials which was a half corned beef sandwich and a bowl of soup. The soup of the day was Mushroom Barley. It was not served at legal temp and was...tepid at best. I ordered the corned beef for my half sandwich. The grease was dripping from it and the rye bread was not fresh. The side was supposed to be a potato pancake. It was actually a fried hash brown pattie and was terrible. The service was very slow and when I asked for the manager he never came. 20 mintues later after I received and paid for the bill I stopped at the deli counter to inform him of the issues and to inquire why he never came to the table and I was berated for complaining. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY... KRATZNER'S IS TERRIBLE!!!!More

Eat at Katzners at least one time a month. It’s good and prices are fair. It’s a small restaurant close to Woolbright Rd in BOYNTON BEACH.

I couldn’t have been happier as this meeting my final meal before leaving Florida. I was greeted by the owner & the wonderful server taking care of me. Every recommendation was stellar & honestly the best deli I’ve had in Florida for quite some time....Service was fantastic & I knew it would be grease when I saw they had Diet Dr. Browns Black Cherry Soda. And they asked if I wanted Cole slaw & full sour pickles. Even the rugalach was exceptional. I told them I couldn’t wait to come back to visit again so I could try something else delicious. Thank you for everything!More

This is a nice place to eat but eludes greatness by hedging its bet too often. Is it a Jewish deli? a Mediterannean bistro? or a hybrid trying to please everyone? Sizes are not great and prices aren't either, but it still has enough of...the good stuff to remember a time gone by. The best thing about it is that there's nothing like it in the neighborhood. I guess that has to be enough.More

We were supposed to be a group of 11 people for lunch with a reserved table. Only 5 showed up. There was a waiting period of45 minutes. before we decided to go ahead & order the food. It was a busy time for the owners...& our waitress was unhappy. Other than that the food was good, plenty of fresh food, french fries that tasted so good & fresh. Service was super. Couldn't complain of anything. All in all it was a blast.More
