My wife surprised with dinner at the Chef's counter for my birthday. From the special treatment, to the food, and topped off with Daniel's service .... it was a fantastic evening. We enjoyed Roy's scallops and Corvina ... both were done perfectly. It was one of the best meals we had and we definitely look forward to our next visit.... More

Reservations are honored in a timely manner, the servers are professional and knowledgable, and the food is always excellently prepared. Believe it or not, their meatloaf is marvelous even though Roy's is mainly a seafood restaurant.

We have wintered in Estero for over 15 years and we dine here several times each year. We cannot remember ever being disappointed with the food or the service. If just the two of us, we like to sit at the kitchen bar where it is quiet enough to talk but fun to watch the preparation. If with a group,... More

Roy's calls it Aloha Hour but it is one of the best and most delicious deals in town. Select appetizers are $7 each as well as some cocktails. Beer is $3. We went there three times during a two week period. The ribs, sliders and fries were excellent. Not your typical fare. We each had our own appetizer and split... More

I have been to other Roy's restaurants, but it was my first visit to this one. There were 6 people in our party. We got seated right on time, which was a surprise, as they were quite busy. Five out of six in are party really enjoyed their meals. The one seafood dish ordered, Corvina, had parts of it that... More

Visited during a bigger family gathering. Normally I guess the ribs is a main course but at this occassion they were Appetizers. What fantastic appetizers! If I'd chose one thing to eat for the rest of my life, this would be it! As a main we had the Butter fish, which was also incredibly good. So; great food! Besides our... More

We arrived around 6:15, no tables available, decided to opt for the bar. It was packed, first come first serve, but we did locate 2 seats in what I would call the chefs bar section. Once we seated ourselves we were given water and edamame. We sat there for about 15 minutes before someone inquired about our status. He was... More

We were overall pleased with the food, but know that this is a chain. Therefore, food is not always prepared from scratch in the kitchen. There were some great entrees ordered, and some that could have been from a typical chain- crab cakes that were definitely pre-made, pre-breaded, thawed out and put on the plate. Not what you would expect.... More

We are big fans of Roy's and have been eating here for over a decade - but not in season. Last night the food, as usual, was excellent and interesting but the service was really poor. Our entrees arrived seconds after our appetisers had been cleared away. Two or our party had a prix fixe menu which included a dessert.... More

Roy's happy hour was great! We stopped by for an early dinner, but saw signs for their happy hour; the appetizers and drinks did not disappoint!! Each of the four appetizers that my wife and I shared was delicious and very generous in portion size. Chrissy at the bar was very professional and friendly. We would definitely go back.
