As Yogi Berra said, no one goes there any more it's too crowded. Waits are not bad and food is excellent, Servers and management all are trying to please and the breakfast menu and variety of delicious food is as good as it gets. Pancakes, waffles, omelets. French toast are all very special. Great coffee blend and very good value. We are back now that we have the Covid vaccine and enjoying it as much as ever.

We have had breakfast here twice since moving to the area about 8 months ago. The portions are enormous and the prices reasonable so there is usually a wait. On our most recent visit my husband and I both had the breakfast in a pot which is literally served in a saucepan. It is a biscuit square with eggs and cheese and sausage gravy and a choice of meat or vegetables. It was very tasty but I could only eat about 1/2 of it. Good service.

Breakfast is the most important meal of the day

Tom Sawyer only servers breakfast and lunch. We arrived around 9:00 AM on a weekday and there was a choice of tables available. Within 15 minutes of our arrival, the place was packed. The interior is rustic. It is a plaid tablecloth and stained natural wood affair. The breakfast menu is very diverse. The Eggs Benedict were prepared well, the yoke was cooked but runny, the hollandaise sauce was tasty. The fried eggs were perfect as well as the hash brown potatoes. I confess that the hash browns were a little on the cool side. Of course you can get grits. Great orange juice and the service was good considering the crowd.

Pleasant Surprise

Stopped in on a whim while on vacation after doing a quick search for a local breakfast place. Adorable place, very tastefully decorated and clean. Staff was a pleasure and service very efficient. Breakfast omelettes were delicious as were the grits and home fries which were not greasy at all. Highly recommend and will definitely be returning.

Great place for breakfast al day featuring some unusual choices. We have been coming here for over 30 years. They are always busy. I opted for the Western Omelette, ham, onions, and green peppers. Comes with 4 eggs, choice of 2 of the following, home fries, grits, or pancakes, English muffin, toast, hashbrowns, tomato, or biscuits. Very good except the home fries were just cubes of fried potato, no onions or peppers. My wife chose the Aunt Polly Breakfast, 2 eggs cooked anyway, with cinnamon bun French toast. Choice of 4 slices of bacon or 4 sausage links or 2 bacon & 2 sausage links or 1 sausage patty. Unusual to have French toast made from a cinnamon bun, she loved it. For breakfast, the place to try.

The bread on my takeout sandwich was stale with 3 slices of ham and the price for everything is DOUBLE on the weekend! This is something new as I order from time to time from here. The menu I had, which was recent, didn’t reflect those prices. If I didn’t have a co worker pick it up I would have left it but they didn’t know. I can only assume that Investments Limited raised their rent as their known to do. I can no longer go here. Sorry Tom!

Great American Breakfast

The Great American Breakfast has been chased for years, but look no further. This is the spot for you. Extremely crowded on weekends but well worth the wait. Food is great and service is outstanding for the amount of people demanding eggs, hash browns and toast!

Good breakfast spot!

We dined here for breakfast and thoroughly enjoyed our meals. Great food and service. Our dishes were salmon eggs benedict, pancakes, french toast, hot chocolate, fresh orange juice. So yummy and big portions. You'll love it!

Nice place for breakfast!

Outside so deceiving. Inside is a cute country type restaurant with all wood interior. Hubby liked his biscuits and gravy and the buttermilk pancakes were very good. Service was very good and they really taking cleaning tables seriously. Good place for a nice breakfast.

Like the food a lot, but wait, timing, service and overall treatment can be disappointing. Some good days, some not so good. Mannagement is inconsistant and can ruin an otherwise enjoyable experience. Used to be so friendly; hope they can take a hint.

Great food

We went around 11:30, so very busy. Some people finishing their breakfast while others, like us, were there for lunch. The staff did their best to keep up. We saw lunch specials on the board and exch chose one of them. Came out fairly fast and tasted great. The parking lot was packed, because a delivery truck was there.

Omelette is too big at 4 eggs. Regular order over easy cooked nicely with great bacon. The pancake option instead of toast was quite filling. Coffee OK but not special. Friendly service. Good prices.

We had breakfast here. Food was good, like a good home cooked meal. Nothing spectacular. Service was ok. The hostess was not friendly, but our waitress was friendly. If you want something filling and hungry, this will do.

Good and fresh food selection

We were seated quick. Got our drink order taken care of fast. Ordered our meals timely as well. Great selection of breakfast and lunch served until 2pm (when they close). Food was fresh and tasty. Lemonade, to drink, was excellent. Reasonably priced. Great service!
