We travel on the weekends and have recently started taking the scenic route. It took us through Blountstown, and we were starving. El Jalisco showed up as the #1 restaurant so we tried it and were so glad we did! Everything looked and felt very...clean. Our server, sadly I can't remember his name, was awesome! He was very efficient and friendly! The chios and salsa were good! We split the guacamole, which was pretty tasty and had the Master Parrillada fajitas for $20.99. It doesn't say it is for two people, but we split it and couldn't finish all of it. It had chicken, steak, shrimp, chorizo, and a pork chop on top of the onions and peppers, the flour tortillas, and the side if rice, beans, and sour cream/guac salad. It was very good and plentiful! We highly recommend El Jalisco and will be back the next time we pass through!More

We stopped for a quick lunch and were pleasantly surprised. Food was very good, good service and their lunch special was $4.99. It changes daily and you have a couple of choices each day so it would take a while to get tired of eating...here. If we're in the area again, we would definitely eat here again.More

My friend and I both had the carnitas which were very tender and cooked perfectly. Service was great. The only thing I didn’t like was the salsa which was too sweet and the green salsa I asked for wasn’t seasoned and was kind of plain....I did show up right at 10 am and they hadn’t even opened the doors. I will definitely go back. The place was very clean and has plenty of staff helping.More

I almost always pop in here on my way back from Torreya State Park. After hiking, nothing satisfies an appetite like a big plate of Mexican food. The shredded beef chimichanga here is great - flavorful beef packed inside a lightly fried flour tortilla, covered...in that lovely white cheese with lettuce, tomato and sour cream on the side. I'm not a guacamole fan so I always ask to have it omitted from my dish. The staff is great. They are actually Hispanic but speak fluent enough English that I've never had a problem understanding what they say, and they understand always what I want. They have great iced tea too. It's never watered down or over brewed. I always order a side of pico de gallo with my chimi and it is always fresh and tasty. The chips and salsa are good too. The chips aren't too thick or too thin and the salsa has some kick without killing my taste buds. Just overall a great experience.More

My family went here back in May for my niece's graduation. We had a very large party and the server was really great in getting everyone's food. As always, the food was delicious!
