Went to this spot on a recomendation from a friend. Glad I did. I had a rolled chicken cutlet with ham and cheese. The bride had a beef dish I won't even try to pronounce. Very good as well. Choice of 2 sides. This place is worth a try. Nothing fancy just good food.

Excellent food...probably best value in Ocala/Belleview. Outstanding Carne Frita, Puerto Rican Pastel, and Fried Yuca. Pernil is very good.

We had heard so much about this restaurant and about their pressed Cuban sandwiches. Now we can say that we had one of the best ever. Sure it's not fancy… But it's clean and the food is exceptional… The price was right as well! We have their special today which was half a Cuban with black beans and rice on... More

We visited Chicken Time Cuban restaurant on a Friday evening. It was crowded, but seats were available. Our waitress was friendly and helpful. We ordered the ham croquetas for an appetizer. They looked like fried cheese sticks, but were filled with a ham concoction. They were very good. For our main meal, I ordered the Sweet onion and steak Mofongo.... More

Don't be put off by the fact that it looks like a hole in the wall joint in a down scale strip mall (which it is)...go inside and have really great and authentic Cuban food. What's good - everything on the menu. If you are new to this type of food start off with a simple Cuban sandwich. After that... More

She refused to give me money back saying she couldn't open the register and I had to wait for the... More

This was our first time trying Cuban cuisine so we asked for recommendations. We settled on a sampler platter for two. This was a great way to try chicken, pork and beef. Yellow rice, two kinds of beans and fried plantains were also included. This sampler is a great way to try a variety of dishes The interior of the... More

Went with a couple of friends for lunch to try some different food, and we weren't disappointed! Lots of Cuban and Puerto Rican choices. We all ordered the Cuban sandwich which in this case, is served hot, with crunchy Cuban rolls. Also had the rice and black beans as a side dish. The service was a little slow especially considering... More

The food may be good but i ordered and sat down. After 20 minutes the cook come out and sat near me and started in on his meal. Not to distract from his lunch time , i got up and left. Never to return.
