Stopped in this gorgeous restaurant on our into Phila for a family wedding. Food was excellent! Sicilian pizza had pillows of fluffy dough, with a delicious pomodoro sauce topped with melty mozzarella cheese. Then for our meal I had pasta puttanesca which was the best...I’ve had. Loaded with olives, capers and a delicious chunky sauce, we couldn’t stop eating it, but made room for a house made Tierra Misu and a pumpkin cheesecake with a praline crust and topping. This restaurant serves authentic Italian fare with the best ingredients. We wish it was in Fla, but until they are, we settled for taking home all of what we couldn’t possibly finish. Beautiful restaurant to relax and enjoy amazing food.More

I ordered the special (Porchetta) and just did not care for it. I wanted the appetizer portion and was charged the entree portion. Each time I have gone, I have mixed reviews on the service. One time I was waiting to order dessert and then...by the time the server came back to the bar, there was not enough time as they were getting ready to close. It is very pricey, which is fine if the food and service were a little better. I will give it another try since it's local and we like to support local businesses.More

First visit for two couples (50's and 60's) on a rainy Friday night in early January. Greeted warmly and seated promptly, and fortunate to have co-owner Vincenza as our server. Started off with a round of Martini's...all tasty, and full to the brim. Nice selection,...though still focused on holiday themed creations. Shared appetizers of polpette , garlic knots, and spicy mussels. All were delicious. The tomato sauce in which the mussels came was not particularly spicy, but it was enormously flavorful, and a joy to soak up using the basket of artisanal bread. Four entrees...the night's special of beef and potatoes in a beef ragu, chicken Marsala, spaghetti puttanesca, and veal contadina...good-sized portions, nicely presented, flavorful, and tasty. Shared desserts were tiramisu and pistachio / ricotta cake. Oops...forgot to mention the second round of martinis. As referenced above, we were fortunate to have co-owner Vincenza as our server. She exudes a warmth and courtesy rarely found today, with engaging conversation, broad knowledge of the business and its products, and a deep pride of ownership. She was a joy. The dining experience was a treat. We would not hesitate to return.More

The Signature Dish, the veal chop , $48, was delicious, but so little pasta under it we asked for a side of pasta. $8 for the side that was just 4 forks full, $1.75 for 4 slices of bread!! What Italian restaurant doesn’t serve bread...with their meals?! And only 2 pats of butter! The Wedge salad and Chicken Soup were also good but again overpriced. $100 dinner for 2 with tip. Probably won’t be back!More

Wish this place was closer to Middletown. Would be regulars. Stopped for a late lunch. First visit. Great visit from time walked in door. Tried a signature cocktail -yum. Both hot plates tried were excellent - clam and sausage & calamari. Fresh bread and olive...oil dip was yummy. Service was great. Atmosphere was nice.More

Four of us went for a birthday dinner. We took advantage of their Tuesday dinner special, half-priced entrees for women. I had the chicken parm. The food was delicious and the service great. We kept seeing beautiful drinks and desserts going by our table. None...of us drink but it was very tempting. It was a totally enjoyable dinner. I definitely recommend this restaurant. We will be back, in fact, one of us went back right away with her daughter.More

My wife and I stopped in V&M for the first time and were pleasantly surprised. We were met at the front desk by two wonderful women with the warmest smiles you could ask for. We were seated in a comfortable, clean, well appointed dining area....The service was wonderful and the food was well above average.More

Food was delicious! Service was great. Such polite and friendly servers. Constantly refilling waters without even having to ask (which honestly a lot of restaurants are not good at these days) and paid close attention to details. Can’t wait to come back! 🍷 🍝 🧀

Ate at Vincenza’s and Margherita’s the other day, which has been there for a number of years, but we had never visited before. It is located in a strip mall on Marsh Road, has a bar and at the entry you can look into a...little bakery. It was crowded and there is a small room for the overflow……in that room there were flat screen tvs that ran a travel film about Italy……so, in case you were alone or had a boring companion you could watch the screen and see Italian scenery. They brought bread and oil with tomato sugo which were delicious. Everything we had was very good. Salads were great and the mussels juicy. Pasta puttanesca was wonderful. Employees are very friendly and accommodating. The only thing is they have very high prices.More

We have only been here a few times because we find their prices to be very high for the area and cuisine. The food is excellent, and the portions are substantial, but we think the prices are still high. The décor and ambiance of the...restaurant is very nice. First, I'll rave about the food, then I'll continue my complaints. Both times, I had the eggplant parm special. It was outstanding. Not many chefs can bake eggplant properly- but this chef does not disappoint. The side of gnocchi was equally outstanding. My husband ordered the chicken special which he found equally as outstanding. We are both extremely picky and hard to please, and our meals were phenomenal. For an appetizer, we ordered the grilled Caesar salad which was equally as delicious. Here's why I only gave this place an 'average.' Again, it's the little details that count. First, when we ordered the Caesar salad, our server knew we were sharing, so he said he'd split it for us. He didn't share there was a $2 splitting fee. WT???? A restaurant of this caliber should not have those petty and low-class fees. This isn't a diner. Servers also need to share any up-charges or fees and not sneak them into the bill. That annoys us to no end. He was such a good server, too, and failed us with not sharing that. Next, the menus were like takeout menus. They were printed on regular stock and we found that to be extremely tacky and low class, especially with the prices and ambiance of the restaurant. Seriously, spend a little extra cash and use a thicker, nicer stock for your menus! Then, their wine list was tiny, and they were out of about 3 of the reds. Of course, two of those reds were the less expensive ones. (I know how that game goes and you can't fool us.) When you are out of a wine, replace it with another equivalent wine. Either this was a poor management move, or they have a poor distributer. Just not sure, but it just added to the dings. We ended up just ordering glasses because we felt the wine bottle prices were unreasonable. Then, service was great until we got the check. What is it about the check were servers become MIA? We sat and sat waiting, and then sat and sat waiting to pay. When my husband stepped away for a few minutes, I sat there alone with a look on my face. The person who I think was the manager saw me, made eye contact, and then just looked away, standing on the other side of the room. He only seemed to talk to the customers he knew. How annoying. So, long story short- excellent food, very pretty decor and pretty restaurant, but very petty and low-class mishaps that didn't match. We left with mixed emotions and will not rush back.More

Something is quaint about the outside of the restaurant -- they seem to play jazz for the parking lot, and the inside -- which has a high smell of ammonia that overcomes the garlic and tomato aroma of a typical Italian food establishment. The waiter...pronounces his r's and words with rolling proficiency despite being Mexican, and his service is outstanding. The host is polite, genial, and a model of shining efficiency. And the food is great. Prices are reasonable for fine dining. This place is great for a quiet date or for a family gathering.More

I have driven by this place hundreds of times in the last few years but never realized what was behind the obscure façade. We decided to try it on a Tuesday night by the recommendation of a friend. I'm so glad we did. As you...walk in, the bar and the restaurant is very trendy and upscale. We were greeted immediately by a most friendly hostess (soon to realize it was one of the owners) and taken to our table. I had the ravioli and my husband had the salmon dish. The presentation of my dish was amazing but the taste was even more so - truly out of this world. My husband's dish was just as delicious. I would highly recommend this place. This is going to be our new "go to" for a night out.More
