Lovely lovely room! Menu was very limited & food was just OK. I had the lobster bisque- which was extremely thin & tasted OK.

Went for Sunday birthday brunch for the first time. Tables of buffet style food then order an entree. I had the steak entree which was delicious. The croissants and desserts were delicious too, all made on site. The room is very fancy and ornate, as is the rest of Hotel DuPont

Superb. The Pinot Grigio was excellent. The soup was cream of broccoli and quite palatable. But the salmon served on a bed of Mediterranean rice with corn relish was excellent !! The drapery, ceilings and carved wooden structure was lovely. Yes - there is a dress code but somewhat lax in the summer months. Men must wear a jacket and... More

Awesome Sunday brunch in historic DuPont hotel green room! Food choices were amazing and all delicious. The waitstaff are meticulous and the room is gorgeous. Request a seat near a window - and go there fast before it gets sold from the Dow deal!!

A good friend and I went for dinner here tonight. The setting is incredible. I couldn't stop looking up at the beautiful ceiling with the gold and intricate details. For the first course, I had the fish bisque that was well presented and flavorful. My friend had the Cesaer salad, which she enjoyed. For the main course, she had crab... More

I had breakfast here twice and dinner once. The food was good and the service was good - but the room is simply amazing. If you are staying at the hotel or visiting the city I would highly recommend eating here and walking around the hotel afterwards.

Simply put, classic, elegant and affordable! Don't over look this gem! We had to meet the kids in Delaware and given the proximity to Longwood Gardens this place was perfect

So relaxing: a quiet atmosphere for lunch in elegant surroundings. Highly recommend if you have guests from beyond the immediate area, or, just to indulge yourself. Choose from salad, soup & sandwich a la cart or enjoy a daily prixe fixe offering for a multi-course treat. Sunday brunch is superb.

We celebrated our anniversary dinner here - had no problems with reserving a table on a Saturday at 7pm. Perhaps we choose the right night to dine in the Green Room because we couldn't have asked for better evening. Used the valet parking located at the front entry. Friendly staff from the moment we pulled up. We were escorted from... More

I visited Wilmington, DE with a friend earlier this month. My friend's brother-in-law took us out to dinner at the Green Room. I had the Spinach Salad, Sautéed Salmon, and Cheesecake for dessert. The food was delicious and I liked the elegant atmosphere; however, after I had finished eating my salad, the staff person who came to remove my plate... More
