We came to Moro for date night after seeing an article in the paper that it had not closed and the owner had returned as the chef. He did a fantastic job with the food. So savory. We had the brussels sprout, spaghetti and clams, fried eggplant with ricotta salata and the seared cod. All were outstanding. You can taste... More

We were there for dinner a week ago, and what a disappointment. :-( It's been a few years since we last came here. Moro used to be an elegant, special place with a creative menu and very professional (if somewhat snooty) servers. It was pricey, but worth it. That was then, this is now. Now the place is worn and... More

I went here like 8 years ago in its heyday...under new ownership and it's still a gem. Located off Penn Ave on a quiet block in a nice building. Sat upstairs with my family and friend for what was a delicious meal. The table had a fried brie over arugula salad, chicken over grits, polenta in a sublime mushroom sauce,... More

The atmosphere is first class, and the food certainly matches the atmosphere. From appetizer, to main course, to desert, each item hit the highest mark. WELL DONE!!!

My husband and I have dined at Moro several times and have always had a wonderful experience. This time was so different. We brought some friends with us and we were so excited for them to try the restaurant. When we arrived we were shown to a table on the first floor in an area where no one else was... More

When making reservations the staff assured me that there were 5 to 6 "specials" in addition to the listed entrees on the very limited menu. This was not the case. Additional "small" plates were offered but the 6 entrees were not enough to choose from despite the fact that the food was excellent. Many layers of flavors, good presentation. No espresso... More

Service was adequate, food forgettable, atmosphere questionable. Overall, I would not return to this restaurant. I felt the food was overpriced. Really nothing pleasing about the whole experience.

This was the 1st time at this restaurant. It was nestled in a residential neighborhood which makes it easy to pass by if you're expecting a big sign advertising the name of the place. Our server Kyle was great and the food came out very fast. The food was okay but a salt & pepper shaker on the table would... More

Had not been to Moro in quite a while but a Living Social $60 credit for $30 prompted us to revisit from southern Chester County. Years ago we frequently had business dinners at Moro and always felt the service enhanced the food. This time, everything seemed a little off. It was a Tuesday, and Moro is closed Sunday and Monday,... More

Moro is a hidden gem, tucked away on N. Scott St in a converted row home. The inconspicuous location adds to its charm, if you didn't know it was there, you'd drive right past without noticing. Insise the ambience is intimate and inviting with seating available on the first and second floors. The full bar is a bonus, with a... More
